They were both classy, and one reminded me of a wedding table arrangement. The other included perfectly tinted carnations. The Bromeliad he brought home is bold, bright, gorgeous, and with deep green leaves! It came in is a clean glossy white metal tin with a gold metal band trim top. An expansively sized bow was added - I appreciate that Pollard's chose the fire color since it complimented the bright red bromeliad. Normally I remove bows on plants after a couple days, but this one looks so nice that I've left it on. I haven't seen Bromeliads this huge and healthy anywhere before. With all the beautiful plants and positive reviews my boyfriend has been bringing me, I was curious and stopped in this last weekend. The gal who assisted me was the sweetest! I can't recall her name and feel badly about that, but she assisted me in picking out a bird's nest fern and showed me a clever watering trick for it and other plants! You'll have to go in yourself for that... I don't feel quite right giving away their secret here. ;) The bird's nest fern came with a choice of a natural looking basket out of three nice colors... I appreciated that it was lined and I didn't have to buy the basket separately. I checked other stores after buying it and confirmed that the price I paid for combination couldn't be beat anywhere in town! Pollards hasn't disappointed yet, and I like that their setting is a quaint location immediately off of the tree lined (Saunders) road with ample parking. I'm looking forward to the next holiday or other occasion where my boyfriend might pick up another surprise from Pollards or when I get an itch to stop in again myself. :D

What was ordered was Not Close to what this florist shop delivered. There was a clear picture on Ava's website of what should be included and missing was the Flowering plant (with matching bow) and the green plants weren't in a dish- just 4 green plants in tiny pots stuffed into a leftover Easter basket. (delivery was the week after Easter) The basket is warped on the bottom and does not even sit flat on the counter! This florist should be ashamed for what they delivered and should not be doing business with the Ava's Flowers group which is a scam!!! I have heard of others being fooled by this 'Sponsored' ad when a google search is done.

Last two times Cathy spoke to the driver to confirm and called me back - again it'll be there any moment. Finally, as we're leaving for our reservation at 6pm it's determined that the driver forgot the order and it'll be another 15 minutes. I cancelled the order. Luckily, my wife was less upset than I was. I assume you need to pay for "timed delivery" if you want good service. Yes, Cathy apologized and offered to redeliver at no cost on Monday but the anniversary was over. Too little to late.
