When arrived, all employees had horrible attitudes and you could tell they didnt want to be there. When I went to pick up my order, they only had 1/4 of my order in stock and they failed to call to tell me this. My card was still charged for $70+ dollars. After speaking to the manager, she made me pull up my credit card statement. She refused to replace the missing balloons with something they had in stock so I had to pay an additional $12 for new balloons. Not even 24 hours later and the balloons no longer float. Horrible customer service. I will not go back a party city and will continue to purchase balloons online and fill them at Kroger.

I found a large painting that had two separate price tags for $4. Every other painting in that same rack was also marked $4. When I got to the register, I was told it was a mistake and the price was actually $14. When I spoke with the manager to ask if they would honor the price, given that it was marked twice and the entire rack was consistent, and she refused. Instead of taking responsibility for a clear clerical error, she told me that "customers switch tags" and insisted on full price. It is one thing to have a pricing mistake, but it is another to imply that the customer is being dishonest. To be accused of switching tags when the evidence of a store-wide marking error was right in front of them was insulting. I've always enjoyed shopping here for my home projects, but I won't be back after being treated like a scammer over a $10 difference.

She claimed I took some accessories and that she witnessed me doing it and threatened she'd call the police. I purchased my son's costume from the store last year and didn't have a problem; except her employees were a little rude and constantly hovering. Her prices are waaaaay too high as well. It's 60+ for a cheaply made costume, very disappointing. Might as well take yourself to party city!

Leila was recommended to me by a mutual friend, and the custom outfit she made for me for 2019's Diner en Blanc Indianapolis event (pictured) was fabulous! As it was my first time having anything custom designed for me -- not even my wedding dress was custom! -- I wasn't sure how the process would go or what look I even wanted. Throughout our multiple sessions, from brainstorming to mockup to final piece, Leila often could tell by my body language if something about our work-in-progress just wasn't 100% right yet and would work with me until it met my (and her) expectations. She's great at communication and was eager to help me understand different fabrics, how they feel and how much they cost so I could get an outfit within my price range. She also listened to my wishlist and made the outfit in 2 pieces so I could get more mileage out of it later. Because my custom outfit experience was great, I also ran to Leila with a bridesmaid dress alterations job only a few weeks before I needed to leave for my friend's wedding in Cancun. Bit of a struggle here. I purchased my mylar balloons from a different Party City store but was…read moretold that store didn't have helium so I should check out the Carmel location. They did have helium, so I put in a balloon order and picked up the weights and helium balloons and all the things at this location. But when my husband picked up the balloons, only 2/3 of the bouquets were there! I immediately called because I was close to tears because balloons for a 3-year-old birthday party are a big deal and we had to leave town right away for the party. The person on the phone told me there was nothing they could do over the phone, and I'd just have to come in another time and request a refund. I finally made it back a week or so later (not a very convenient location to my house) and had to explain the whole story to the confused employees (to their credit, they tried their best) but because everything was missing in 1/3 increments (e.g. 1/3 weights, 1/3 helium balloons from a pack, 1/3 mylar balloons from a set, etc.), it made refunding them very difficult. Also, just curious where my balloons went?? No one ever found them. Anyway, we figured it out. It was super annoying. I hated doing all that work to drive over to get the helium only to not get all of my balloons and have to spend way too long communicating to employees.
