I have been coming to H'allure nail salon since it opened and do not go anywhere else to have my nails done. I also recommend them to anyone looking to get their nails done . I will not be going back here . the last two visits have been less than good . I had a pedicure first which last 26 minutes the entire process. I am a nurse and am on my feet for 12 plus hours a day so a pedicure is heavenly to me. This day it was rushed and not at all what I have experienced in the past. This is not at all the fault of the person doing it but the person that owns /runs H'allure. He keeps them on a beeper/tracker that they wear and are contacted when taking too long. The second experience was a gel manicure which took 24 minutes for entire process. I should also mention during this visit he berrated and yelled at an employee with a salon full of people. Said employee walked out and did not come back . The only thing I would have done different is walk out the front door so he could have seen me go. I am a week from my gel manicure and all nails have cracked and are lifting at nailbed. The employees are great here the owner needs much to be desired . unfortunately after all the years I will not go back and I will never recommend again. I came here for a brow wax after searching desperately for a place with reasonable prices. I was SUPER impressed! The salon is nicely decorated, very clean, and all the staff members were smiling. It was quite busy but I only had to wait about 5 minutes. My technician did a beautiful job and created an excellent shape and arch. It only cost $10! I tacked on a hefty tip. Their wall of polish colors was massive - seemed like a million choices. I also noticed that the salon manager let a customer know before her manicure that the polish she was interested in was considerably more expensive than the others, and he explained why. I appreciated the fact he was helping her make an informed choice rather than just pushing an expensive product. Dip on my nails was all cracking within a week. Not falling off, but I could see lines throughout each nail. Pedicure was ok, however I did regular polish (usually get from my other salons and lasts at least 3 weeks) waited FOUR hours to put shoes on and when I took my shoes off my big toe was missing half the polish. Went back the next morning and had them fix it and wore flip flops all day. Its been less then a week and the polish is already coming off my toes. As stated above, normally my pedicures last 3-5 weeks with regular polish. Disappointed. Will avoid this salon in the future. read more

This is the only place I will go to get my nails done. Everyone there is really friendly (although communication can be difficult sometimes). They do a great job with gel, French, and especially their pedicures. It's fairly expensive but worth it. The atmosphere is a little bit stereotypical Asian-owned nail salon, but they make up for it with the quality of their work. They're never in a hurry and can always fit you in even if they're busy. read more

I will never step foot in this establishment again. I was a regular customer since I moved here. Due to schedule conflicts I changed the technician I used. After returning from a trip home for the holidays my nails needed to be done, the girl I use was off. Since I only needed a fill and was going to a function I made an appointment for whoever was available that fit my schedule. The guy that used to do them was my technician today. He was short and extremely rude, and I realized he didn't want my business because I changed technicians, and when I said as such he agreed! I remedied that and asked for someone else since he was mad. I'm the paying customer. I told the owner at the desk, she said it would be another 15 minutes. I sat down and the guy walked by me and told the owner to never put me with him! I was incredibly mad and highly insulted and told her I won't be back. The guy should be fired on the spot. If you go here, which I do not recommend, steer clear of the young man. Evidently being a loyal customer means you need to use the same person all the time or they are permitted to speak to you in an manor that is unacceptable and insulting. I'll go elsewhere. read more

He even explained and answered questions about the dip process so that I could ensure my nails were done the right way anywhere I went. I'm a military service member who was on vacation...I say this because I want to emphasize that I have literally traveled the world and have received nail care for 3 quarters of my life. This place is insane.. Pros: the staff are nice enough, the place is sanitary and there are an abundance of colors to choose from, the price isn't bad. I made an appointment and I was seen quickly. Cons: I spent two hours in a nail salon and I'm leaving with dry skin still on my feet and an inconsistent gel polish job (thicker or bubbly in some places). Tony, my tech, was nice but rushed through the pedicure in terms of removing the skin around my cuticles, barely scrubbed the heels of my feet but gave a great massage. Even then o was good until he made me very uncomfortable during my manicure..kept asking me to hunch over and move my hands while he sat back and asked me to keep the led lamp warm by putting my other hand under it 4 times until he was done with the other hand. When I decided not to do that he told me they wouldn't be dry..they're gel. After four times under the lamp? Then I got my eyebrows done by someone who claimed she understood that I just wanted them cleaned up...epic fail. The last at the front counter doesn't believe in customer service...she's all about getting you in and getting you out. All and all it was a subpar experience and I wish I had spent more money at a spa or at least waited until I went back home. Please don't waste your money. read more

Went in to get a full set and a pedicure for my wedding. Got the quick pedicure, which is great. The full set of nails, I tried to have them do something different And it was a flop. And 2 nails are crooked slightly. I will have to get a polish change once i get to Vegas, because this will not do. 3 stars because the pedicure was good, and they took me in exactly at appointment time. I went today, Sunday....they said a 15 minute wait (it ended up being longer but I didn't mind.) I was concerned when the tech in charge kept telling walk-in that they would need to wait 30 minutes....knowing they closed at 3:30. FYI on Sundays they don't take appointments. When my tech started my pedicure, I was very pleasant and I asked if she was the owner but she said no.......once she removed polish and clipped nails, she proceeded to apply salt scrub and messaged for a minute. Then she applied a warm towel to wipe scrub off and then lotion where she messaged both legs at once...less than a minutes, then polish....I'll be surprised if it polish lasts like it normally does since very little base. After it was done....less than a 15 minute pedicure I realized she hadn't done cuticles or softened calluses as the tech was doing to the woman next to me....I questioned the tech who had done mine since she was working on the woman's manicure and she gave a lame excuse that the salt scrub did that. NOT! I left...paid the $33 and first time ever did not leave a tip! I usually am very generous. Very disappointed...felt she was rushing through my pedicure. After going to Allure many times while visiting Bluffton during the last 4 years, I was disappointed in my last interaction. My husband bought me 2 Gift Certificates (totaling $110 in services) in October 2012 for Christmas. We live in Chicago and he bought them at that time. We did not return to Bluffton until December 2013 due to our house selling in IL, moving, and other travel. Now we are in Bluffton and building a house. Allure REFUSED to honor the certificates at full value as they had a year expiration. They were NOT customer oriented and could have cared less about the reason I had not been able to use the certificates. I had a great manicure/pedicure for $110! They lost a customer who now lives in the neighborhood. I would NOT RECOMMEND this salon to anyone. read more

This is where my sister and I go when I am in town to visit her. They do a very nice job, but I am not blown away by the amount of time the spend on a pedicure (I'm spoiled up in Philly). Go to Tip-Toe on Malphrus Dr. instead. This is the sh**tiest nail place in Bluffton. I don't know how I spent five months of my life going here every 2-3 weeks. Each of those times that I have visited were individually terrible. I was repeatedly burned with the drill tool they use by Andy- Every. Single. Time. I was told they were the only place with dipping powder, which is the only reason I kept going. They are not. And now I've gone to a different place and learned that they nearly gave me a nail fungus because of their procedure with the dipping powder. They did not remove every layer every time, and water found its way under my nail. If I had gone a few more times, I would've had a fungus and would've had to treat it. Fortunately, through a grueling process, that bottom layer was removed and now my nails look and feel so much better. All thanks to Tip-Toe. read more

I have been going to this place over a year and always made my appointments in advance. My last appoinment on 3/20/13 I arrived early and they had a full house. The 3 women doing the pedicures at the front just kept looking at me and never said anything. My tech saw me and never spoke to me. Finally, I just got up and left . As I walked out they said they knew I was there and they were waiting for a chair to open up. I am sorry but to not greet a repeat customer and wait until they leave to tell them that they were waiting for a space to open up. My sister and I went in to get gel nails and a color change on our toes. The woman directing the flow of customers who is also the owner, continuously treated us like an inconvenience. We unintentionally selected the same OPI color on our toes and nails. The owner attempted to pressure my sister to select a different color for her nails which would cause her to have non-matching nails and toes. After my sister made it clear that she didn't want to change and was fine with the wait, the woman put her hand up and stormed away. She kept acting like it was busy, but I'm from D.C. and my nail salon is twice as busy as this one. My nail tech was great. He did a great job and provided wonderful customer service but the owner was horrible and we will never be back again. Definitely the best nail salon in bluffton! Very busy which can be a little intimidating at first, but I now know why it's so busy! All the nail techs are great! All their kits are sterilized and the whole facility is always very clean! Very impressive for the amount of debris from nails they must have! Tu the front desk lady always runs a tight ship, they take walk ins but your scheduled appointment is never pushed back for a walk in! I have never been treated this way ever and will NEVER go back or refer them any business. I was given a gift certificate that apparently expired after a year. The woman (Sue?) at the front desk was rude and embarrassed me while my nails were drying; she informed to me that the certificates expire after one year and the person who signed the certificate no longer works there- it wasn't the information it was how she handled the situation and her tone that was offensive. She even eluded that I had changed the date then tried to take back what she said. I was very embarrassed with how she spoke to me even so I waited a day and called to speak to the owner which Sue picked up the phone. Sue said she was the owner and I informed her I would never go back to her establishment. She asked me to explain what happened and now she decided to argue with me.
