Walk in, not too busy. I would say they're very expensive for extra short nails gel-x. I was okay with it, the problem was some weren't straight. They didn't have the chrome powder I wanted for my design. I also didn't appreciate paying $95 overall when the under of my nails were very dusty, the UV glue touching my skin, and just dirty. There was like a manager or another co-worker who was just weird. He kept talking to the lady who was doing my nails and seemed like was harassing her(or maybe not, in my POV.. it just seemed like it) I personally felt bothered by it. Do not come here! My nails look good but I have cuts all over my nail beds and the skin is completely raw plus the glue was cured to my skin and burnt so bad. And when I started bleeding he didn't even acknowledge it and tried to cover it up with polish. The price I paid was significantly more than what I was quoted on the phone and when I got there. I was told $60 and paid $95. Ridiculous. I am still in pain and won't be coming back. read more

I was in desperate need of a mani/pedi after traveling elsewhere for a few weeks, so decided to hit this spot while visiting my son in Savannah. (My man decided to get a gentleman's mani/pedi also and we were both pleasantly surprised at how many male customers they had!) La Bella is larger than most nail salons but very busy, so I recommend booking an appointment online. They have about 10-12 beautiful, modern, massage pedicure chairs, at least 8-10 manicure stations, and a large, comfortable lounge area for waiting clients. When we arrived late morning last Friday, every pedicure chair was full and all 12-15 employees were with clients. Thankfully the man + I had appointments and waited less than 3 minutes for two pedicure chairs side-by-side. I have gel/shellac nails, which Zee removed while Nam worked on my toes...super efficient! In fact you could often hear the owner call out one of the tech's names followed by a number, which I assume was the station # where that client would be seated. Within seconds, the station would be prepped and work began on a new customer. Each tech had very little downtime and I admit that I did get a bit of a sweatshop vibe during my limited time there! Both nail techs I had were very gentle and skilled. A third nail tech, Zsa, worked on my man (and, coincidentally, took one look at his palm before affirming that he'd live a very long life ). While we were there a young woman was getting her nails done in chrome and I wish I had a photo of those nails. It looked like she had 5 tiny little mirrors on each had - really, really cool! Expense-wise this place was significantly pricier than my home salon near downtown Denver (which runs me $73 with tip vs $105 here for the same services). I'm not sure if the rate in Savannah is just higher or if it's this salon in particular but you may want to compare pricing when you book. B O T T O M L I N E : Go! they have roaches first let me start by saying i've been going to labella nails since they opened in i believe 2018-2019 one of those saw them through 2020 covid even moved on the other side of town and continue to support their business i went in this week regular greeting everything is fine up until the point where i start to show her that i wanted and and she started telling me what she was going to give me being very rude then it was my first time getting something new so i ask the price and she is visibly irritated and old she starts hollering across the room to get information holding on to my ankle tightly as she speaks with her other hand then told me a different price for what i always get for my mani i was getting something different only for my pedi then she stopped doing my toes to have someone else service me as i said she was visibly irritated i wouldnt allow her to do what she wanted they just lost a customer of a long time and i always tip always and good never going back and they have roaches also the main lady owner as i got my nails done came sat right next to me and the lady they switched to service me looked dead in my face with an evil look speaking her language to my nail tech making eye contact with me and laughing lol just very mean spirited and unprofessional and needs to deep clean that shop read more

We were spending a girls weekend in Savannah and really wanted to get a mani-pedi. We called a few weeks ahead to make appointments and we were told to just walk in and that 'it would be fine' As soon as we walked in we were asked if we had an appointment , and since we didn't we had to wait an hour to be seen :( They were nice and set up a cute table outside so that we could wait and we were offered self serve box wine or waters from the fridge. Once we sat down for the pedicure, the ladies were really efficient and down to business, maybe because the place was so busy, it felt a little rushed. This place was absolutely horrible. Took my nail tech so long to find 3 color options I gave her (nearly 30 min) to the point where I just took a color off the shelf myself. Took her over 2 hours to do my nails and they came out completely botched: hairs stuck underneath, bumpy, cracked and each nail was a different shape. When I tried to kindly correct her, she wouldn't listen and never even tried to fix anything. Then she proceeded to charge me $85 for the worst nails I've ever had. Traveling to Savannah and no time to get a pedicure before we went. I made an appointment here based on the good reviews. My husband had a gentleman's pedicure. She took a long time to get his feet cleaned up and nails shiny. His came out great. I had a regular pedicure, which took about half the time his did. She asked if I wanted my nails cut, but barely cut them when I said yes. My toe was bleeding after she buffed my big toe. Ouch. She never acknowledged it, just put it back in the water. The polish job wasn't great either. For $35 pedicure, I wasn't happy with mine. His was great though. Not a place I would return. read more

I went in and got a pedicure one day and a manicure the next, so this review covers both. Pedicure: It was fine. The tech spent a lot of time pampering my feet before painting. It wasn't really anything special. The paint still looks decent almost two weeks later. Manicure: I definitely wouldn't go back for a manicure. My SIL saw the good reviews and booked four adults for manicures and then called back and added her five year old daughter. When we got there, they didn't have enough staff to take us all at the same time. They grabbed my niece and my SIL who was getting married the next day first. My other SIL went with her daughter and they had her sit in the station next to her. Then they grabbed my MIL and me and sat us on the entirely opposite end of the bank of stations, which was a bummer. Then they moved my MIL down to the rest of our group and I sat by myself for the rest of the manicure while the rest of my group got to chat and laugh together. I asked for a gel polish and for them to put an acrylic on a nail that I had broken. The problem came when the acrylic nail broke off five days later. I have gotten full sets before and never had this happen this quickly. The polish still looks okay on the rest of my fingers, 13 days, but started chipping around the edges a couple of days ago. There was no pampering other than a very quick lotion at the very end. The rest of my group's nails came out about the same as mine. The most important thing is that the nails got my SIL through her wedding day. I would have gone back to see about getting my nail fixed but I don't live in the area. Final thoughts: -They had a tooon of colors to choose from. -My SIL expressed some concern about the cleanliness of the shop. Her tech also kept rubbing his nose, which she felt was a little gross. -It would have been really nice to know in advance that they couldn't actually accommodate us all at the same time. Telling is that our services would need to be staggered would have allowed us to decide if that was okay or if we should look elsewhere. -Separating the group was a big bummer. We would have looked around for a different shop if we had known that our group would be split. It's not a fun girls outing when the girls aren't all together. read more

I recently moved to Savannah and was looking for a new nail salon and a friend HIGHLY recommended La Bella. I was not disappointed! I only got the the basic gel mani-pedi but they did a wonderful job and really took their time. In previous salons, if I only got the basic mani-pedi it felt rushed and my cuticles, nail beds, etc. left something to be desired. At La Bella, they spent 30+ minutes making sure all of that was done exceptionally well! The gel and overall/end result of my nails was GREAT! I have found my salon in Savannah and will be making it my regular, go to nail salon. I came across this place back in March when a friend wanted to avoid other downtown nail salons. I got my nails done bright green for St. Patrick's day and well, with everything closing due to the pandemic, I couldn't get them redone for a while. Although very grown out, they still looked great after a month. So I came back again and am just as happy. I have attached the picture of my nails from today. my husband and I went here on our first day in town. We had 2 college age employees do our pedicures. My auto correct saved their names as Karn and Jam. I know that is not correct. My husbands toes and feet have really bad calluses and his person spent extra time filing his toes and calluses eithout going so deep that his heels hurt (which has happened at other salons) in Minnesota. Bridal party made a 1:30 appointment. We waited for one hour before we were seated. Another 30 minutes went by, and we had to be finished by 3:00 to get ready for rehearsal. We were told we would be done by 3:15, which was so so long. Manicures were rushed. I wanted to get dip in OPI "Funny Bunny" which is white. She applied the dip in a very odd way that made the color look almost clear and not white at all. The worst part was the deep cut on my thumb, I know accidents happen, but she repeatedly cut it again. I didn't get a manicure and trimming of my cuticles, or a massage. One star for trying to keep the bride happy and one star for the kind man who tried to have nice conversation while she was doing my nails. --she didn't really talk to us at all. Not worth the price! I was visiting Savannah and decided to get my nails done at this place since my hometown nail salons are still on a shutdown. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. The place was practically empty, only one customer besides me. I got a mani pedi and the nail job done is literally basic at best! Nail painting not done correctly. Hang nails still on my fingers and the corners of my cuticles were not cleaned properly! The girl that did my nails didn't say one word to me or engage in any kind of conversation. She had her headphones in the whole time. I sat in my chair for 10 minutes after my manicure was done thinking it's okay to leave now and the nails are dry! I was wrong!! And soon as I got in the car my nails were smudged because there was a thick blob of nail polish left at the tip of each nail that would make it very impossible to dry in 10 minutes! I should add that she suggested I sit under the fan/light to dry my nails but there were already 2 other customers sitting on either side and it didn't seem like a social distancing kind of way to sit next to someone this close. 2 days after my manicure, the skin around my cuticles started to peel badly!!!
