Ellie, my technician, was friendly, personable and professional. She brought dip colors for me to pick from and had OPI and Pyramid, which are two of my favorite brands. My manicure looked very nice when I left. But when I had to remove the polish, it had stained my nails. It may have been due to the "dremel" filing tool he used to smooth out my nails? Many of my nails then were breaking and I had to file them down even more than he had during the manicure. it definitively weakened my nails, and I had to file them down shorter than they've been in years. I would not go back, and I definitely would never let someone use the dremel tool on my nails again. P.S. I used to use one on my poodles nails, ha, ha, so hard to justify using on MINE! read more

I reviewed previously but downgrading even more. The Dremel filing and smoothing the manicurist did made my nails so thin they continue ( and probably WILL continue ) to break off. I am here in Hilton Head on vacation with my family. My mother came in to get her arms & legs waxed. Not only did the technician not know what she was doing, She started rushing through my mother's wax. She was notified an appointment came in while she was servicing my mother, which caused her to rush & for my mother to be in even more pain than a normal wax. After finishing my Mother's arms she told her that she could not do her legs because they did not have the wax. She told my mother she had to leave because she needed the room for another client. She then rushed through the post wax treatments & my mother still came out with wax residue on her arms. My cousin also got manicure & pedicure. The pedicure turned out great. But the manicure...she got the new dip powder polish, & the technician did not do a good job cleaning the polish off her skin. For us to stop into this gorgeous salon on our vacation & receive subpar service is unacceptable. I don't know how they treat their regular clients, but service the was disappointing. read more

I came in for a regular mani/pedi and the tech kept showing me gel colors. The salon is filthy with questionable methods of sanitization. I also was not greeted upon entering and the tech was rude throughout my entire appointment. The massage was a joke - two minutes per foot, at best. I almost fell out of my dirty, sticky chair at the price I had to pay for probably one of the worst nail appointments I've experienced save for the time I contracted an eye infection. How about cleaning up the garbage at the drying station? Maybe I'm spoiled about the service and cleanliness I've grown accustomed to in the NYC area. Their service needs improving they don't greet you upon entry the wait time sucks even with an appointment. I think they want you to make an appointment just so they'll know what to expect. My pedicure appt at 5:30 they seated my sister, neice and myself after waiting 30min then in the chair waited another 30min I've never experienced this on Hilton Head or Bluffton, I lie I just remembered this one place on Hilton I left their establishment I should've left this one too after waiting so long to be serviced. My niece saved them she was looking forward to this pedicure because we kept trying to get one. The service was rushed the nail tech did ok on me, he painted my neice toe nails beautifully, my sister tech rushed her job and got the "h" out of there. I got the tropical treatment with sugar scrub that could've been better I've had better I felt like more sugar needed to be in the cup so I could get a good feeling of the scrub scrubbing but I didn't. The hot towel felt good. Another lady came in when I came in NO ONE I MEAN NO ONE said anything to her the whole time she sat there. That's a shame, you approach everyone that come in your business to see if they need service. Another customer was getting a pedi her tech just abandoned her she didn't know what was going on.... who does that? If a tech has to get off you make sure their customers has been taken care of, you just don't abandoned them but you want to get paid. I will not return to this business and will tell everybody that I know how bad the service was. read more

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. My mother and I wanted to go get our nails done. We went here and in the middle of getting our nails done, two nail techs start arguing with each other. They were screaming so loud that they would spit in our faces. We were extremely uncomfortable and yelled at them to stop, telling them how unprofessional this was. They continued to scream and fight. My mother and I had enough so we got up to leave. We were super uncomfortable and upset. They tried to convince us to stay and finish getting out nails done by offering a discount. I am used to walk ins and waiting 10-15 minutes but this salon told me they couldn't take me one day so I came back the next, as I walk in they tell me to come back in an hour. I come back after an hour and the. wait another 34-40 minutes. I ended up just walking out. Never coming back. I'm not sure who the new owners are but the last two times my service was HORRIBLE. This nail tech cut my feet with the electric file and then told me I had thin skin. I was bleeding. She tried to take off only 4.00 for this incident. My feet were not filed down evenly. She did not do my pedicure in the proper order. She was suppose to lotion my legs after the hot towel had been placed on them. She waited till she finished polishing my feet to lotion my legs then she wiped them off with the cold towel. Clearly she was new or inexperienced. Very POOR job. My toe is still red and swollen from my pedicure yesterday. No manager apologize. She told me she wasn't going to charge me because I was bleeding and she lied. read more

I paid 50$ for a manicure and a pedicure with no polish. The man who did them was rushing. He was very rough and cut two of my toes and two of my fingers making me bleed.
