Great addition to area. Small section opened up with this great brewery. Staff was very polite, genuine. The cherry beer was excellent.

Great beer, staff, and location. Lots and lots of sours! Thank you so much for the stickers

Small but very nice selection of good brews. The place is on the small side but it never gets too packed in here. Definitely do a 4-beer flight if you ever drop by. If you're lucky, sometimes they hand out free donuts :) The only downside is that this place is a bit out of the way

Cozy little space, big on inventive beers. IPA's Saisons, Sours and lots of mixes between them. Brett done well. Nice, knowledgeable staff and interesting food collaborations to go with beer. Definitely worth the visit. Nice selection of bottled beer and growlers.

Very nice and cozy space on a relatively quiet side street (other than the GO Train rail running right beside the brewery). Probably one of the better brewery spaces in town. Other than scones and pretzel buns, there isn't any food. We grabbed a a flight of everything they had and the clear standout for us was the Post-Scarcity Session IPA. At 4.5% ABV, I thought it was going to be a shitty IPA - but it's probably one of the best light/session IPAs I've had a while -- all the flavour you want but in a low-ABV solution. I appreciate the experimental brews they had (dubbel with tart cherries, stout with sarsaparilla, IIPA with sauvignon blanc grape mist, sour brett saison with pineapple, etc.) -- so it's not yet another 'me too' "craft" brewery that's all too common these days. Overall - great space, a solid go-to beer in the Post-Scarcity Session IPA and exciting experimental taps. Will be back.

Good bar for a quick drink with a friend. It's a rather small place, but the beer is pretty good. Highlights for us were "magic missile" and "day star" They offer tasters and they are a good way to try all the beer. Bottles and growlers can also be purchased on location. Down side is that some beers taste similar to each other (day star and.the final straw). Still as a fan of beer I would return! The staff are friendly and attentive.

Halo Brewery is a small, local brewery on Wallace with nice beer. Better to stop by in the afternoon or early evening for the best experience.

They had a wonderful array of options, and I did the tasting flight back then that consisted of two whiskeys and two gin's. I don't remember most of the visit because the spirits were very strong, but I do remember the elderberry gym being fantastic! I remember sitting at the bar and being taken care of and the bartender, being very thorough and polite with explaining each spirit and what hors d'oeuvres it would pair well with. I love the old factory/warehouse vibe of the distillery. The building looked very old from the outside with a more modern interior. It was definitely a highlight of the trip and something I would highly recommend for any avid whiskey drinker.

Our server soon followed and took our orders. Literally in about 10 minutes, our food was delivered and ready to go! Super fast service! Good food too. Tacos and fish and chips! Decent flavor! Inside an old train turn table station that is moderately noisy. Now for the bad, the giant fish piece is only given a tiny portion of tartar sauce to go with it, when we requested more they wanted to up charge $2.00. That is the same as charging for ketchup for fries! If you're offering tartar sauce for the fish, before you charge you should at least give enough for the food you are serving! Pictured is the amount that you receive with the plate. Which is also the amount they want to charge the extra money for. That is poor customer service! For this reason alone, we wouldn't return to this restaurant!

Given the proximity to several major tourist sites and stadiums, guests should expect to wait in line for tables at times. We visited in summer, so we were totally happy with a wait for a patio table, given we live in major food cities where this is common. Once we were seated after about a 25-minute wait, it took several minutes for our host to bring us water. Finally, our server arrived, and with minimal support or answers to our questions, we had to decide on very specific meal options since some menu items were out of stock, and allergy/content information could not be confirmed since the server repeatedly forgot to ask management. Our drink orders arrived after our meals did, and two out of three meals were incorrect. On top of this, the correct meal had meat added to it despite the guest being a vegetarian. After we pointed this out to the server, nothing was changed, and we waited a full meal service before they showed up again. We repeatedly requested water refills, only to receive new glasses of water as we departed. The server blamed the water station's distance on the 30-minute delay. If this is truly the case, you need to add multiple new water stations for staff to use. Holy cow! Luckily, none of us would die for these errors, but they were the most concerning dining experiences any of us have experienced. Not once did the team or server show concern, and we did our best to leave a low gratuity. I hate to be that person, but damn, y'all have a lot to improve upon. I normally collect coasters from breweries I attend, but this was the first time I have specifically refused to ask for merchandise from a brewery. Good luck to whoever has this server and team next. We will not return.
