Hello my name is Veronica and I went into Halo Medical Spa on Sunday June 9,2020. I was very nervous it was my very first time having any type of filler done, my mind was quickly put at ease as I set my appointment for lip filler with Ashlynne Padilla she was not only professional but very kind and very knowledgeable about the procedure I was wanting done. The office was incredibly clean and I felt right at home. My injector was Imelda and she was a complete doll,she had the gentlest touch and made me feel very calm and at ease during the entire time. There were other girls present in the room and they were all incredibly sweet and very informative about what was happening while it was happening. I am currently doing 4 microneedling sessions. I still have 2 more to go but I can see a HUGE difference in my skin already. Amanda is doing an amazing job. I suffer from hyperpigmentation, oily skin, and acne scars the most. My acne scars are my main concern & after 2 sessions, i can see a drastic improvement. I would never ever recommend anybody going to see Amanda at Halo Med Spa for any injections, I gave this lady multiple opportunities too correct the damage she has done to my face but she has done nothing but lie and make excuses for herself, you can't only claim the beauty you create, you must take responsibility for the damage you have caused. Not once did I get a apology from you, you lied saying you gave me medication that was never provided. Some people value an apology more then money! I've gotten 3 dermaplaining and 3 chemical peels done by Trese at the Halo Med Spa. Trese is seriously the sweetest thing!! Very knowledgeable and in depth during the consultation. Letting me know exactly where my skins at, and where I could be. After my first dermaplaining and chemical peel, I had minimal peeling but extreme results. I know this because I didn't tell my boyfriend about my facial lol, and a few days after he kept telling me how clear my skin looked!! (My pores were smaller and my skin looked tight and plump.) Who doesn't love when their man noticed things you've got done? I have dry skin, I crack and look ashy with this New Mexico weather all the time. Trese suggested this oil that has seriously changed my skin!! I was hesitant on the price but I have never had such plump nourished skin. I'm hoping to get the entire line soon! I lost my money and my time for nothing. Amanda told me i ONLY need 1 treatment... On first consultation, that was made by amanda and she explained the whole procedure to me, she said I would only need 1 bbl photo facial treatment. (Wrong kit set)I used the cream set before my first appointment. by the way they were the wrong products. my first treatment was done by Gisel. I had to return in a month, because i still had the brown spot. They made me buy the creams.again They insist to buy the creams (which by the way, they are not cheap). On my second appt, was done my amanda. Which she didnt even protect my eyes. She only put the cream on my brown spot.. i was there for maybe 5 mins with amanda in the procedure room.. On September 29, i went one again, and they told me they couldnt continue with my procedure and i had to pay the full amount again. I refused to pay.. i am really disappointed with the owner and staff.. they are not on the same page and they lie to you just to get you money.. Amanda (the owner) would benefit from saving the time/money she spends on her overdone look and instead get therapy. It is obvious in the way she treats her staff that she is not there to serve her team, but instead to make sure everyone knows she is the boss and running the show. She is abrasive, unprofessional, and pushy. As a female leader for one of the biggest employers in NM I would expect her to cultivate kindness, partnership, and ultimately serve her team, which would then trickle down to the clients. As a female business owner, she could capitalize on inspiring young women while growing her business, but instead she focuses on making sure that everyone knows that she is in charge. As a client, she talked down to me, tried to intimidate, and minimized my skincare goals. The turnover at Halo is an objective validation to my concerns and further demonstrates the lack of leadership and subsequent customer service. If you are looking for a one hit wonder for service you'll do okay with Halo, but if you're looking for continuity, or an inviting atmosphere dedicated meeting your individualized needs, Halo is not your place. read more

Went to Halo Med with a groupon for a microplaning treatment which I've had many times before, at different spas. The visit was over in 20 minutes, and that included some time spent looking at before/after photos, so not a lot of time/care were spent on my visit. The worst part was that the technician, Amanda, said she had nicked my skin. I've had microplaning treatments before, & so I wasn't concerned about the nick. There was some blood on the nick, but I wasn't too concerned until I got home and took a closer look, noticing more blood and also that the nick was really a gouge. Waited a day to see what the gouge would look like.No better the next day, & concerned about scarring, I called the spa, couldn't get through to leave a message as their mailbox was full. Sent a text, & have not had anyone call me back, so they don't seem concerned about what happened. Would never go back to this spa & would never recommend to anyone. Wanted to give it negative stars, but, unfortunately there isn't that option. read more

I came here for the first time to get my first chemical peel. After reading and seeing too many horrible pictures of chemical peels online, I was a bit terrified! But, I have some pretty extensive hyper-pigmentation and sun damage and am at the point that peels are something that I have to add to my arsenal of skin treatments. Amanda took the time to explain everything to me and to reassure me that I had no reason to worry. She did an analysis of my skin and some before/after pictures so that we would have them for future reference. The peel went off without any complications and a week later, my skin had a celebrity glow to it, exactly like she told me that it would. I will be going back for my second peel soon and will come back to her for future treatments. She does a wide variety of treatments so there really is no need to go anywhere else.
