I was promised $10 a unit for Botox on the phone from one phone representative, after they called to transfer my account from the state I had just moved from. I call back later to set up my appointment and the nurse or whoever it was said they could not give me $10 a unit because apparently I had a refund on my account back in 2024 from a completely different state? I can't even remember getting a refund. Why am I being punished for something I can't even remember? Also, I could tell right away there was a weird vibe from the girl, like she was expecting me to be a problem and argue with her. For the amount of money you pay down for laser hair removal treatments, you'll get multiple cancelations on their part, further prolonging your completion of treatments. I have now completed my 5th treatment visit for hair removal (Brazilian). That's 5 out of 9 and I'm at about 75 percent complete. Great results so far. I have been waxing for about a decade and wished I had done this much sooner. Less hassle and WAY cheaper in the grand scheme of things. I did the math... I've shelled out about 7 grand in waxing over the last 10 years. This is much less expensive. They had a special, and which I suspect there usually is a special. I go every 6-8 weeks and follow all of their instructions. Things are going GREAT! I wish they had more than one location in ABQ. I have to drive 30 minutes for an appointment. The staff is always very polite and informative. The location is clean and modern. They are very busy and scheduling a treatment and keeping that appointment is important. It's hard to move an appointment due to popularity and limited staff/instrumentation. I'm okay with that, as long as they can get me in at a reasonable interval from my last treatment. I visited Ideal Image to have Botox and also a lip filler. I had 75 units of Botox done for the forehead about 5 months before and was just coming in to Ideal for a refresher. I had 25 units for forehead and 25 for each eye area. I also had one syringe of lip filler, I can't remember what it was called. I left and had little to no results from what I got. My forehead did refresh and smooth out. The eye are..no results at all. The lip filler...no results. I was greatly disappointed. The cost was 900.00 for the lip filler alone. I will not be going back because I'm still paying off the cc I used for these services that did nothing for me. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I was sold a BBL over the phone (I should have checked reviews first). The treatment areas were to be my face and neck. When I got there I was told it wouldn't help my neck, so they credited me that portion for a different service. I was set up for the laser service, but the machine broke, so I was told I'd have to reschedule. I stayed to get xeomin and they did give me a bit extra for the hassle. No one ever contacted me to reschedule, so I went to schedule myself. When I looked at the app, it was showing the treatment had been completed (it wasn't). So I call to ask about this and they said that I still have a credit for the BBL for my face. So I schedule another month out. The day before, they call to cancel the appointment stating the lady who my appointment was with quit. I told her that I didn't want to reschedule (another month out) and I'd like a refund. She stated she could process my refund and it would take 7 days for approval and then another 7 to receive after that. Still no word on that so I call back and apparently the refund wasn't processed correctly and she's not sure what is going on with my account because it says the treatment was completed and I was comped for another. So wish me luck on my refund because it looks like I'm now in the same boat as hundreds of others waiting for a refund. I sent an email to Ideal Image on 4/18 and was told that a team member would reach out within 48-72 business hours. They then told me that they only count hours of operation in those hours. Meaning - they would get in contact with me sometime within two weeks which does not seem reasonable. It's now 5/10 and I've heard nothing. Meanwhile, I'm still getting charged hundreds of dollars a month for services I'm not receiving and have not received for almost six months. That's $1,500 for absolutely nothing. It's now been around 6 months since I was able to get an appointment. Since last June I've only been able to get four (I think because I had to split up my appointments at one point) rounds of services that are supposed to be completed every 6-8 weeks. I've had three or four appointments cancelled and have a feeling the June appointment I made will be the same thing. Like so many others who have posted here I am locked into a payment plan and have been paying $250 a month and not receiving the services I am paying for. I had to press to even be added to the "cancellation" list. The providers are great, but this company has got to stop overselling their product. I've gone here a few times for Botox Injections. I like that you can get a special and then "bank" some of the Botox for another visit, last time I had my reg scheduled app. Then a week later I went back for check up. I ended up getting a few more shots in my forehead. The staff is very friendly and the scheduling is so that you can usually get in within a week or so after initial call. They offer other services as the person that recommended them to me was going for laser hair removal on her legs. I would say the prices are compatible to other places I'd been before coming here. If you live on the Westside in ABQ or Rio Rancho the location is perfect! Next to Total Wines near Sam's Club. Avg. time I've spent for my appointments is ~ 20mins. People please do your research. At first this sounded like a good deal my first four appointments went great I was so happy. But it has now been 5 months and I have not been able to get in for an appointment. Last time I was in (may) they scheduled appointment for me for August, September, and October. August got canceled (by them) and no reschedule was given. September(this month), they sent me a text telling me that my time no longer works so they will move me to 5:20 instead. I work until 6. Hence why I made the appointment with them at the time that worked for me. When I called this location to tell them I can't make the 5:20 she said she'll just cancel the appointment. She couldn't offer me another time or help me in any way other than canceling it. Honestly I doubt I'll even get my appointment in October. I called their customer service and they told me my "contract" is up in January. But guess what. They don't even have appointments available until the day after my "contract" expires. I've been rescheduled several times and now my contract is up and they refuse to renew it. According to my records I have had 5 sessions and I'm in need of a couple more but everytime I schedule another session it is rescheduled and pushed further out. I believe it is intentional move to let my contract run out. I do not recommend Ideal Image as I company especially since laser hair removal isn't guaranteed. I bought ideal image services back in July 2020 but since the ideal image in Albuquerque had staffing issues, I was scheduled my first appointment after few months probably sometimes in December. I had my second to last appointment in November 2021. I was told by one of their ideal image technician that for my last appointment I should wait 2 months. So I was scheduled in Jan 2022. I got a call one day before my January appointment and was told that my contract had expired and I'll have to pay for my last appointment. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I even called ideal image 1800 number but they didn't do anything about it also. The manager at the Albuquerque ideal image didn't solve the problem either. I spoke to a customer service representative for laser hair removal and Botox. I signed up for the service and they put me on a payment plan through their financing. I was told I would get a call from the Albuquerque location to schedule. My laser hair removal was set up and I was able to get one service. Afterward I got a call canceling my future appointments and told that I could not get another appointment for months. I also tried to schedule my Botox and was promised by the customer service agent that I would be able to get right in and schedule everything but when I actually spoke to somebody they were not able to get me in for three months. I decided that maybe I wanted to just go through somebody else since I hadn't even had the service, that's way too long to wait, and not what I was promised by the customer service representative but then I was told that everything is nonrefundable. I would not have an issue with everything being nonrefundable if I could actually get the service, but not only do they not get you in but they don't refund you until after two months have passed and you haven't been able to be seen. So I don't have an appointment and they continue to charge me for the service. It's a mess I'm super frustrated. I think I'll end up having to get the services through them but I feel like a complete hostage with their service I would not recommend them in the future to anybody. I have gone through other businesses in the city for Botox but I wanted to try them for laser hair removal and that's the only reason I called. I wish I had checked out Yelp before paying so much money for this. I'd seen ads on TV that looked very promising so I was excited to make some self improvements. The place was very clean, quiet, and sort of empty or slow. The sales person was very good and determined to close the sale that day for Cool Sculpting, BBL and Botox. Its expensive!!! But, I was determined to do this. However, its taken a long time and hard to get appointments scheduled due to the fact that they have only 1 Cool Sculpting room and 1 BBL machine. I'd say these are probably the 2 most popular services requested and you typically need more than 1 treatment to see any difference. Their tech staff is very small also. All the staff gets various treatments there as well. I got some Botox on my forehead and was Not happy with what it did to an eyebrow causing me to lift my eyelid to put on my eye shadow. I'd had it done someplace else before and had much better results. No more Botox here. So if you are serious about making these improvements be aware that the appointment wait times are longer than they should be. Plus, you won't always be called back or get a reminder of your appointment. IF THEY mess up your appointment, if you are late or miss it - you have to wait for another month or 2 to be seen. This is so upsetting especially if it's their fault. They never seem busy when I go and all the other rooms are empty of clients so I just don't understand why they don't get extra equipment and trained staff for the most popular services. My excitement for this has now vanished :( and I would tell anyone not to expect too much and it will take longer than you expect since they are under equipped and under staffed. The woman I was speaking to was incredibly nice and complimentary in the beginning, but as soon as I started standing up for myself and going against her trying to upsell me, her tone immediately got nasty and she was very short with me. I wish I could recommend Ideal Image Albuquerque, but I have not been able to receive a single treatment. I signed up in April 2022 for IPL treatments. At the time, I signed up for the yearly renewal program because it sounded like a good deal, and honestly, it was a pretty high pressure sales tactic from a sales person who doesn't even live locally. Anyway, scheduled my first treatment in May 2022. I was disappointed it couldn't have been sooner, but I took what I could get feeling confident that it would be a good experience. The nurses, that are monitored by a doctor, are professional and educated. They walked me through the laser hair removal process and knew their anatomy and physiology.
