Fernanda is amazing! I went to the same stylist in Portland for a decade before going with my husband to his appointment for a haircut and saw her give the best haircut I've seen given to him and she said she had ideas for my hair if I was ever open to it. Today we had an appointment for each of us to get our hair cut and I LOVE what she did with my hair after giving her a general idea of what I like and asking her to do whatever she thinks is best. She gave really great tips and tricks to maintain my hair with as little effort as possible since I generally invest zero effort into my hair. My husband has gorgeous curly hair and she has twice now done a spectacular cut doing curl by curl. The last cut grew out to look freshly cut even as it grew which blew my mind. Today's appointment took longer than anticipated (I came in and made the appointment during the week and I think they underestimated how much hair my husband has) and she stated after closing to take her time giving him an amazing haircut. also love that she's bilingual since our family is too. Her overall vibe is empowering and loving. Her eye for aesthetics is wild and it was very cool to see her take my hair from a hot mess that hadn't been cut in a year to being luxe AF. Fernanda only works Saturdays, and it is really nice to spend a chill Saturday in the salon with her. I can't speak/type highly enough of her as a stylist and as a person. The overall salon is really beautiful and our four-year-old has been with us both times we've been to the salon and not only did he enjoy the space, he was offered drinks and snacks along with us. He really likes Fernanda as she talks with him and interacts with him in such a kind way. She offered him a bench near the window to play on and he loved watching people walk by and play with the toys we brought. He said he likes watching her cut hair and she's really good at it so he also recommends you should make an appointment with her! read more

My daughters and I have had several haircuts from a few different stylists. Each haircut exceeded our expectations. We've had friendly and professional customer service each time. Appointment scheduling is easy and I've had no problems canceling appointments when I had too. The salon is always clean and I like the clothing and other products they have for sale. I've recommended this place to several friends who all had good experiences. This is not a place to go if you want super cheap hair services but the quality matches the price. It's a higher end salon with professional quality results. I'm glad we have a place like this in Longview because when it comes to my hair I will gladly pay a professional to have it done right. read more

This was my first time at this salon, the owner was nice. I was charged 215.00 for a haircut and applying an all over color. There wasn't any highlights, lowlights, ombré or anything crazy. I was told my next appointment to do a root touch up, and no hair cut in 7 weeks is a 100.00???? I like my hair cut, but at this rate I'll probably look elsewhere. read more

I travel from Olympia to exclusively get my hair done here, as Sarah is AMAZING ! In all the years I've been awful to my hair (box dye, not cutting it, too much flat ironing), she has been able to maintain my blonde in a healthy way where my natural hair has been able to grow. I get both my bleach & my extensions done here by Sarah & I will never go elsewhere at this point. I am amazed by the quality of work that the stylists here are capable of, & how friendly & personable everyone constantly is (even first thing in the morning). I saw Rayanna for my skin, she is so wonderful! Rayanna really seems to care about you as a person and heard what my concerns were with the crepey texture that makes me so self conscious, but she made me feel very comfortable. Ok ... I'm 59 and I smoke, so my skin was really showing accelerated aging and she recommended clear lift! I like the idea of the clear lift because the results are increasing after the treatment over time along with no down time so no one can tell that you've had work done other than the results. With the condition of my skin I will probably need 4-6 treatments. I noticed a significant difference after my first treatment just two days ago my crow's-feet already are mineralizing and the crepey skin texture on my face is reduced. This place was alright. I was a blonde and changed my hair to a much darker color with my 9:30 appointment. Soon after arriving, many of the other hair stylists went home or some place else and I soon began to realize that the owner was now in charge of all of the other clients showing up. I'm sure she could have used the extra help. This salon was not really my cup of tea, costumer service was okay. The owners sister was much more nicer and welcoming in the process of my hair. Terible experience. I went in for a facial wax. Not friendly, didn't clean the area before waxing, afterward, I wasn't given anything to sooth the skin. When i went to pay, I was charged way more than the price listed on their site. When I got home, I noticed several areas she missed, so I had to go back the next day, and she still missed some areas. I came here because my daughter gave me a highlight here as a birthday gift! The first thing I noticed that everyone was wearing a mask and it was really a clean environment. Everyone was wearing masks employees and customers too. They had good separation between stations and the music was very upbeat and trendy. Bridget was my hairstylist. I gave her a range of what I was interested in and told her to feel free to utilize her professional opinion and how she thought my hair should be. Everyone was very friendly throughout the whole process. I definitely felt pampered and was very impressed. They had a variety of hair products to use and purchase. They offered clothing and jewelry for sale in a small corner near the reception area. And the chairs could be more comfortable. They have a machine where are you sweep the hair up to it and it sucks in all the hair. That is definitely the most innovative thing I have seen in hair salons. No dust pans for this salon. When she was all done and she curled my hair that looks absolutely fabulous. It probably was not my first choice, but after living with it for a couple of minutes I decided it was the best choice. Spent a great day yesterday getting my hair done with one of the beautiful stylists of Halo. I love the atmosphere of positivity and how knowledgeable each women is about hair. They work hard to expand their knowledge and go to classes to learn the latest techniques. I don't know all the stylists personally, but everyone there was so sweet to me yesterday. A new owner bought this place and that woman should not be running a business. They scheduled me and sent 2 messages confirming it only to tell me when I came in that I didn't have an apt until Monday. I showed them the text messages and was met with a VERY snarky tone of "like I said, we are changing systems and I don't know what happened". This was the actual owner of the salon and she didn't even say she was sorry. No apology or anything. So unless you want to take time off work to get refused service and treated like a nobody, I would avoid this place. read more

Absolutely love my hair. Hailley did such a fab job on my extensions. The color we had ordered didn't quite match, but luckily she worked her magic and had some extensions that worked for me. I don't know what is wrong with the other people that left negative reviews. Unhappy people are always unhappy! The girls at Halo have always been super kind and very responsive! On top of that, they all are very good at what they do and they were voted the best salon in town. Everyone in town talks about how amazing they are for a reason. This salon became very well known in a very short period of time. Don't let a few negative people make you change your mind about going to Halo! I had an appointment with Amber for my 12 year old granddaughter to have her hair bleached from dark blonde to light blonde. I was told it would be $165.00 plus $10.00 for each extra pack of lightener. When I went to pay the bill, she said it would be $349.00 because she had to use 17 extra packs of lightener because my granddaughter's hair was heavy. Really? 17 packs? When her hair is a medium length and a dark blonde? The reason I gave this a two star instead of one is because my granddaughter was happy with the color. read more

Bridget is very sweet. She's great at what she does. I am disappointed with the color, and lack of thickness in the extensions. I'm frustrated with the way the owner Hailly handles thing's. Rather then trying to fix anything, she's rude, combative, and argumentative. I'm concerned with how I'm going to be able to move forward with this Salon and return to Bridget when my extensions need to be moved up because of this. read more

Booked an appointment for my niece which they ended up changing. The receptionist called and told me the new date, so I put it in my calendar after repeating it twice. My niece informs me that she missed the appointment, which was scheduled the day before I have in my calendar. Mind you my niece had notifications from the salon reminding her of the appointment and the day before the appointment, which she failed to inform me. So I call the salon and explain the situation. The manager gets on the phone and tells me that we confirmed the appointment and she has it right in front of her. Which I replied with what my niece said and what was in her phone that clearly has the reminders of the appointment and even the day before. If she had confirmed the appointment, then there would be a message saying she had, which there was not. I explained this to the manager. She said to send her the screen shots of them and that it would be something wrong with the system and they had been having trouble with it. So I get a call from Haley the owner and instantly she is aggressive and volatile. Suggesting I find another salon. Which by the end of the conversation I had told her I made an appointment with another hair stylist there already, if I had a problem with the salon I wouldn't have done that. Well a few days later I get a message from the hair stylist that she can no longer take my niece and I would be better off finding another salon. Talk about customer service.
