First off, Cam (our tech) is the best! - he handles the Lawn care program (fertilizer, etc) at our property! He has a wonderful work ethic and he truly cares about his customers. I've had Haluch for a few years and they've always done ok work but this year the service is terrible. First, their applications are always late; I received my late spring application at the end of June and wasn't scheduled for the early summer app until Aug!! By the time I received my first early spring app it was already mid-May and the weeds had taken hold and before they put the second app down, in very late June, the lawn was starving for fertilizer and was dying in certain areas and spreading. I called them and they came to look at it and brought their crappy, arrogant attitudes with them. According to them, everything was my fault only, nothing to do with late/missing applications. When I tried to talk to them about the problem, I was cut off and told they were the experts and I didn't know what I was doing, even though my watering and mowing habits haven't changed over the years. The only different factor has been them not doing apps in a timely manner. Then I was told they were too busy to talk about this and they left, after spot spraying all of the crabgrass. Now the lawn is just about completely dead and they couldn't care less. I finally fired them at the end of July and got a competent company to take over; hopefully they can save the rest of the lawn from the mess Haluch caused. I would never hire or use Haluch again and I will let others around here know what happened. BTW: it's not just me. My neighbor is having the same problem with them and he is looking to leave them, as well. read more

I gave Haluch's Sprinkler system 1 star because there wasn't any lower option....Haluch's came to do work on my neighbors house today. Their work van and trailer blocked our driveway and when my husband went outside to ask them not to block our driveway, they replied with "go F yourself" and made an off hand comment about our property (which is not the property they were servicing). When my husband called to let the receptionist know, she defended that behavior (family, I assume). This certainly doesn't seen like a professional, family oriented place I would trust to do any service or improvements to my home. Very disgusting and unprofessional behavior and would not recommend. read more

I could not ask for a better crew. They do all my sprinkler work. They are timely and professional. I am not sure of the other negative reviews. But I have nothing but great things to say about them. This is hands down one of the best landscapers around. They do my home in Ludlow for everything! Mowing, Spring Clean Up, Fall Clean Up, Mulch, Lighting, Fertilizer and Sprinklers. The crew always does a fantastic job. They are very easy to work with. Any extra jobs that we have wanted done around the property, they can also get to us reasonably fast. We also use them for a mosquito program and we are able to enjoy our backyard during the summer. This is a one stop shop company and I would recommend them to anybody read more

Well, what to say, what to say. How about I paid 1100$ for seeding and aerating. Sadly I guess I needed to be home when they did this service to supervise. There was no evidence of seed. No evidence of aerating. Soil was undisturbed, bare areas remained bare and no grass grew. I suppose it is possible that they threw some seed from the road onto my property as they drove by, counting their money as they laughed and laughed. Haluch's put our irrigation system in a number of years ago and has been opening and closing it annually. They have been getting less and less attentive until finally at the beginning of the summer they came to open the sprinklers- 3 weeks later than they said they would be here. Days later we began to have trouble with one zone not working at all. We called them numerous times- another 3 and 1/2 weeks and 2 people came out with no idea what was wrong. They said the owner would need to come out and he would come out promptly. As of this date, after phone calls and emails no repsonse. It has been more than a month and the irrigation system in that zone has not worked all summer! I wouldn't hire them for anything- they are much too irresponsible. Gayle B. read more

We hired Haluch's over a year and a half ago for complete Landscaping maintenance and snow plowing. The first couple of months they did an acceptable job but after that they began to get sloppy. They showed up days after a snow storm to plow. Our driveway would be covered with snow and ice while all of our neighbors had plowed driveways. They charged us $450 for spring cleanup and spent less than 2 hours blowing leaves around. When they were done, the beds still were full of old pine needles and debris from the previous fall. Their office manager Jamie ignored multiple calls and emails and refused to forward my concerns to the owner, Chris, who I can only hope is reading this. She is utterly unprofessional. We've spent thousands of dollars through Haluch's Landscapes yet our yard looks like a complete mess. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to get fleeced! read more

I'd never use these people for anything. They took over the snow plowing service I used. After a recent 6" storm they never came. I called - no answer, no call back, nothing. My wife works at the local hospital and this was beyond inconvenient. These people are a complete waste of time. read more

We hired this company for our five step fertilization program, the lawn looks worse than it ever has, we called on several occasions for a follow up visit, not once did the technician come out to check the application or reapply and the office manager stopped answering our calls. part of the program was fall aeration they spiked our dog fence, due to the fact that they never called to inform us they where coming, therefore the fence line wasn't marked. They said they would cover the cost of the repair, because it was their fault for not calling ahead, many phone calls, (not responded to) and letters later that still has not come through. The company and any employee I dealt with lacks any professionalism, care or concern for quality of work, or customer satisfaction. I would never use or recommend this company. read more

Had a cracked casing on my pump after Haluch winterized my system. I called them to let them know, and reminded them of the uncertainty they had with my system when they were closing it. The previous few years were fine, but that tech no longer worked for them. Jamie said she would get back to me after talking to the tech that did the job. I called a second time with the same response. When I called the final time at this seasons end, I told her not to come to my house because I paid a $150.00 for a pump repair and you never called me back. Her reply was O.K.,..thanks. read more
