I was a new client, and had been referred to by one of my relatives. I'm not usually the type to go to the doctor unless I have to, so I was hesitant at first. Im so so glad I came in! I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly, and the employees are great at communication and worked with my schedule. Once I got to the office, Rachael kindly and patiently worked with me to determine exactly where the pain was coming from, and explained to me the source(s) of the problem. For someone that walked in knowing NOTHING about neck/shoulder anatomy, this was super helpful and actually really interesting. We found the problem spot, and I was given stretches and exercises to practice routinely in order to reduce the pain in my neck. After just a couple days of following Rachael's instructions, I was already feeling so much better. I returned for a couple of follow-ups, and after that, I was pretty much finished! The pain had subsided, and I had all the information I needed to continue if I had the same issue in the future. Now, two months later, I have 0 pain thanks to Rachael and her instructions. For the sake of…read morefull disclosure, I didn't see the 'hand specialist' they had, but I did see someone that was indeed, a professional physical therapist. I swear the people didn't know anything about overuse or nerve injuries. I've had this sort of injury in the past and know the ways to treat it and explain it, and how to ask for adjustments...etc...so when I walked in there and they had absolutely no clue what I was talking about, I was a little frustrated. I had to walk them through everything and eventually, they came up with the solution of hooking me up to an electrode machine. What a crock... I went twice because I was sort of desperate and thought my insurance was covering everything. I was wrong. I was left with a $200 bill in the mail 3 months later, and that was the half insurance didn't cover, not including the $30 co-pay if you have select-med. Terrible. I don't know how they can charge that much and do that little...Don't ever go here if you want someone who actually has a history with treating specialty injuries and doesn't treat patience like they're out of a text book. Maybe the specialist that was on vacation is a lot better, but the one I had was terrible; a waste of time and money. You could also try the other locations, as I gave up pretty easily on my own network. I ended up seeing someone amazing.... in San Diego. Good luck!
