I saw a physical therapist at The Avenues location twice over two weeks in May. For the sake of…read morefull disclosure, I didn't see the 'hand specialist' they had, but I did see someone that was indeed, a professional physical therapist. I swear the people didn't know anything about overuse or nerve injuries. I've had this sort of injury in the past and know the ways to treat it and explain it, and how to ask for adjustments...etc...so when I walked in there and they had absolutely no clue what I was talking about, I was a little frustrated. I had to walk them through everything and eventually, they came up with the solution of hooking me up to an electrode machine. What a crock... I went twice because I was sort of desperate and thought my insurance was covering everything. I was wrong. I was left with a $200 bill in the mail 3 months later, and that was the half insurance didn't cover, not including the $30 co-pay if you have select-med. Terrible. I don't know how they can charge that much and do that little...Don't ever go here if you want someone who actually has a history with treating specialty injuries and doesn't treat patience like they're out of a text book. Maybe the specialist that was on vacation is a lot better, but the one I had was terrible; a waste of time and money. You could also try the other locations, as I gave up pretty easily on my own network. I ended up seeing someone amazing.... in San Diego. Good luck!
