The sugery…read morewas not an easy one, as I had already had these surgeries previously and now I had severe scar tissue build up, so I had complications that resulted in the surgery taking nearly 5 hours instead of the planned 2. Needless to say, after a few weeks of recovery, it was time to go into therapy and begin to reuse the arm and hand. Well, after a visit to my doc, he gave me a referral to these guys to schedule physical therapy. I called and only received voice mail. I called and left another message. A week later, I still had not recieved a call back. So I called again. The lady who answered was rude, she talked over the top of me nonstop, would not let me get a word in edge wise and then had the nerve to tell me they were "worth the wait" She said the soonest they had was 6 or 7 PM a week away. I said that I could not wait that long. She had the nerve to say "well you can't just call in and expect to be seen immediately". My reply was you were called over a week ago, twice and don't return calls. Part of my issue for having to redo these surgeries and go through a very painful recovery was because of sever scar tissue build up. And part of the docs instructions were to get in to therapy and work on reducing the scar tissue on the new surgery asap. Now thew doc, nor the assistant will even pick up the line. Or return calls. Two weeks later, still no therapy. Avoid this place at all costs and I will be reviewing the doc on this as well. I don't feel like either one cares about the care or safety of thier patiens recovery!

I was a new client, and had been referred to by one of my relatives. I'm not usually the type to go to the doctor unless I have to, so I was hesitant at first. Im so so glad I came in! I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly, and the employees are great at communication and worked with my schedule. Once I got to the office, Rachael kindly and patiently worked with me to determine exactly where the pain was coming from, and explained to me the source(s) of the problem. For someone that walked in knowing NOTHING about neck/shoulder anatomy, this was super helpful and actually really interesting. We found the problem spot, and I was given stretches and exercises to practice routinely in order to reduce the pain in my neck. After just a couple days of following Rachael's instructions, I was already feeling so much better. I returned for a couple of follow-ups, and after that, I was pretty much finished! The pain had subsided, and I had all the information I needed to continue if I had the same issue in the future. Now, two months later, I have 0 pain thanks to Rachael and her instructions. The exercises, stretching, ice down, and heat all helped me in the recovery. They even put up with me when I wanted to keep coming to continue my therapy. However, the front desk receptionist Rachael lacks any compassion and empathy for circumstances beyond someone's control. I hope one of her immediate family members is NEVER hospitalized with a life threatening injury beyond their control and when she calls to cancel an appointment for late in the day the person answering the call is not more preoccupied going on and on about the charge for canceling due to being less than 24 hours ( it wasn't so much about the fee, but how it was so rudely delivered ). I apologize our life threatening emergency was not predicted ahead of time.. emergencies are usually not, that's why they are called EMERGENCIES. Showing absolutely ZERO compassion of the situation even if I had to pay the fee.... Rachael could have said something like.. I'm sorry about your family member and I understand it was out of your control, but it's our policy to charge a $30 cancellation fee if appointment is canceled less than 24 hrs prior would have been nice! But she couldn't care less and she conveyed that with her attitude and tone. She is one of the absolute rudest office staff I have encountered. She is in the wrong profession and should definitely stay away from customer service! I'm sure they could care less, but I have no intention of ever returning to physical therapy there which is sad as it's needed and I loved my therapist.. but if this is how you front end staff treat your customers then no thanks as I will not allow someone to treat me so disrespectfully.
