I was dissatisfied with the last HVAC company, and after speaking with Keith, I decided on switching to Ellis County Climate Control. I have 3 heat pump/ac systems. Nick from ECCC came out to perform the Spring maintenance call. I am extremely pleased and satisfied with all aspects of this service. Nick answered all my questions including showing and explaining in detail for me, performing all the diagnostic work, tests, and cleaning for the maintenance call, providing me a summary of the status/results, and was very enjoyable to interact with from beginning to end. I also am very confident in ECCC if I were to need a service call during the upcoming summer heat. I know I made the right decision to call ECCC, and I highly recommend.

Ellis Climate Control not only called but came to our home the day before the 4th. They told us our compressor was shot. Well they informed our homeowner's insurance company however we didn't know if that was included in our plan. They actually got the insurance company to totally replace the unit. Even better the new unit uses the 410 freon and not the expensive R22 stuff. The service guys were nice. I would recommend them to anyone.

While the tech was out here, he was talking about needing to do all this that and the other and I asked him not to because I was not going to pay for things that did not need to be done. He ended up hucking up the guage for check freon and doing so caused a leak. I had to call them the following year to have them recharge it. Again while he was here he wants to do all this that and the other again. Here we are a year later land it low on freon again, freezing up in the heat of the summer and they can't even come out for 2 more day

Once they came out and replaced the pump for $400 with labor, they then told me there were four other codes, with four other parts that needed to be replaced. When I talked to the owner and his wife, they said they could not help me and that $400 was at my expense, even though their tech misdiagnosed my washer. They were not very open and honest and didn't wanna work with me after the part was replaced and then they proceeded to tell me it would be cheaper to get a new washer, then fix the rest of the parts that were wrong with it would not recommend not very friendly and did not want to work with me when it was their technician's fault to wrongfully diagnosed my washer from the start. I would not have proceeded with repair if the tech would have been properly trained to diagnose my machine. Not to mention after leaving this review they called me, went back on their word and declined to return my washer. Pretty petty all around.

Also, I called them to look at another home I have and they will NOT just come and do a free quote. They will do a service visit so they can charge you at least $125 per hour. NEVER, NEVER used them..........this is how they stay in business. Overcharging for service fees!! What a rip off!!!!
