It's to keep a gun "safe" and then they teach you how to hold it and then you go into the range. Again they have officers to make sure you don't blow your hand off. The whole process takes approx 1hr. We went on a tuesday because we dont have gun licenses. It's $15 and just so much fun!!!! When a buddy of mine and I came here for the first time, we had second thoughts due to the location and overall aesthetic of the place. However, quick and friendly service got us processed and seated in under 10 minutes and we soon forgot all about those doubts. For $20 cash, picture ID, and an hour (assuming you are in the first group of shooters) you get to shoot 50 rounds of .22 caliber ammunition. Add an hour if you have not completed the club level safety course within the past six months. The club level safety course teaches you how to make the guns safe, the commands you will be given when you're in the range, and smaller things like how to use the sights properly, loading the magazine, and proper shooting stance. As for when you're actually on the range, you load magazines of 5, you shoot off 25 rounds, go down range to replace your target and shoot off the remaining 25. Super simple and some very helpful instructors guide you every step of the way. Tip: New Shooter Night is on Tuesday's 6:30-9PM OR the first 40 people. It is highly recommended you get there ~5-10 minutes early and wait outside for the doors to open as it gets filled up pretty quickly most nights. Remember to bring $20 cash and a piece of ID like your drivers license. There is no ATM inside.

I hate to write a bad review of any business, but the staff demonstrated a fundamental lack of care in my opinion. I am not from the Niagara region. A friend recommended NQ to me, and so I used their Airsoft part ordering service. This process took a couple months, with an extreme lack of communication. My friend would frequently contact the staff, and they would consistently not be aware of the status of our products. Apparently their parts "person" would not be in, and they would not maintain consistent contact with him. NQ would never give an ETA, citing problems at the border with the United States. When the products finally did arrive, we made the hour or so trip into St. Catherine's. Little did we know that the parts were not even ordered for one of my friend's guns. I handed over mine (CYMA M14 and KJW M9) to be fitted with a new barrel and hop up, and my friend gave his Desert Eagle to their gun technician. They then proceeded to tell me (after a week or so) that the hop up replacement was not necessary and that the barrel did not fit. They did not have access to my guns. I get that. But if they did not know something, they should have asked. I still got charged $25 for labour and my friend's gun was worse off than it came in. In terms of selection, NQ is not bad. However, DMZ does get a G&G shipment each month. I would place an order with them and get guns with them instead. I understand certain things take time, but I was never informed of the delay and was never questioned if parts would fit. They still charged me $25 and told me "this stuff happens". A fundamental lack of customer service.

My daughters have been coming to this Martial Arts Centre for over 2 years now. They absolutely…read morelove it!! The owner of the Martial Arts Centre Sunsei is amazing so nice and so accommodating. I have my girls every other week and my ex won't take them so I had a chat with Sunsei he was nice enough to accommodate my schedule and work out an affordable payment plan. The centre is clean and small. The other 3 teachers on staff are really great as well. I see kids that are rowdy and think they can get their way at home can do the same at the Centre. The teacher don't take BS from the students which I love. They teach them discipline and respect. I see a significant improvement in my girls. They went from being shy and intimidated to performing in front of the teachers, students and parents to get their colour belt grading. I want my girls to continue and get their black belt at 18. Because they're girls I appreciate that they're learning self defence to protect themselves. Not just do they learn the sets of martial arts moves but the class teaches them self defence. They practice if someone were to attack them what they should do. Overall I'm pleased with this Martial Arts Centre. Sunsei and his staff wants what's best for the students and it shows.

We have been to FunSplash twice to date. Our kids (12 and 14) love it. Both times we've brought a…read morefew extra kids - all around blast for everyone. The first time we purchased a day pass and the kids stayed for almost 5 hours - without coming to shore once. I also participated and really enjoyed it too with a healthy fear of injuring myself - I served as a bowling pin to bendy kids slipping and sliding through the course :-). The second visit, only the 2h pass (peak hours) was available and the kids used every minute of it. We packed a lunch and drinks, blankets for lounging and chilled out for a good portion of the day while the kids enjoy the inflatable course. It's fun to watch them ! We've seen many bring small bbqs and make it a full day. There is a BBQ stand selling food by the change rooms if you'd rather take that route. Tip : If you purchase the Niagara Peninsula Conservation season pass (approx $130 which gives you access to other Niagara Parks) and can make good use out of it, it makes FunSplash more affordable in the long run. If you only plan on going to Binbrook once, park entry is $28 (carload) above the FunSplash access fee ($25 for 2 hours and $30 for all day pass).

Most of the folks working there are volunteers. It's a great spot to bring your kids for the day. As long as it's not too cold, the tours can be interesting and you can try some maple samples for yourself. The pancake house is cheap cheap cheap, which is great. Fresh and delicious maple syrup on pancakes or French toast. There's often mascots roaming around for the kids. It's a summer camp, so expect to sit family style and eat off a Styrofoam plate. This is no fine dining experience but it's tasty, cheap and supports a good cause.
