Hamiltons is a true family run, smalltown jem. The smaller and larger live music talents on the weekends are always excellent. The outside spaces are great. There's a sandbox for the kids to play in and plenty of space for them to runaround without bothering anyone. Dog friendly, my pup loves it on the deck and they are very nice to him. This is a place to go and relax without rush and enjoy your time. If you're looking for a stale in and out quick experience then maybe head to Panera or Hungry Howies but if you looking to get a taste of authentic and unique Florida vibes this is your place. A bistro with golden horses on what looks like an equestrian ranch, huh? I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, but I went with 4 because of the quality of the food, and the owners were extremely welcoming. We had asked for water and received bottled water, which had an extra charge. The pizza had a nice crust with fresh ingredients. The kid's pizzas were a good portion size. We were a party of four. We got seated pretty much right away, at an outside table... that was the only thing that went right tonight. We waited at least 15 plus minutes for the waitress to come to our table, and that was after we had to go inside to ask if we were going to be waited on. Not to mention the customers that got seated after we did, but got waited on and served way before we did. We finally got to place our orders. One ordered the lobster ravioli (which was served cold, and was originally delivered to the wrong table, until we told the waitress that it belonged at our table), a pepperoni pizza (that was delivered to another table, so the person at our table that ordered it didn't get the pizza until everyone else at our table was completely finished with their meal. The other three dinners ordered were the haddock fish and chips. When two of the fish and chips was finally ready to be served, the waitress again took it to another table, and those people told the waitress it wasn't their food, so the waitress left it sitting in front of those people while she went and tried to figure out what table they were supposed to go to. We eventually had to tell her they were two of the three fish and chips dinners that we ordered. About five plus minutes later, another fish and chips came out, to the wrong table again, and we had to tell her it was mine. Only thing is, I ordered the haddock and they gave me cod, which was $4.00 less than the haddock I ordered, but they tried to charge us for the more expensive fish. The fish did taste good, although it was barely warm, and the chips (fries) were cold, not warm at all. As we watched the activity out on the deck, there wasn't one dish that came out to be served that was delivered to the right table. We even observed them trying to find out what table a fish and chips meal went to, and she walked around for at least ten minutes with that basket, back and forth, inside and out, trying to figure out who ordered it. When they finally brought the pepperoni pizza out, after my husband told them to cancel the order, because he was tired of waiting for his dinner, she did apologize to him for the mix up, which usually he would have let slide, had it not been for all the other issues we had with all the other meals we ordered. The waitress told us they would not charge us for the pizza and they would comp our drinks, (a unsweetened ice tea, and a Diet Pepsi). Once we were ready to leave, we went inside to the register where you pay and they tried to charge us for the whole bill. We explained what had happened, and that we were told there would be no charge for the pizza, or the drinks, and that they had served me the wrong fish, so my meal was $4.00 less. The woman at the register couldn't change our bill so she had to find the one person that could. Of course this took quite awhile for her to fine that person. Once that person came to the register, she had a hard time figuring out what needed to be done to make our bill right. Needless to say she wasn't very pleasant about it. We decided that our experience there was a two for one... meaning, it was our first and last time going there. There were two positives there... the property is a really nice place and the live music was pretty good. If they could get their servers to learn what they are supposed to be doing, and if the food could get served in a timely manner, making it a hot or a least warm meal, instead of everything being cold, it could be a decent experience. The food is very good and consistent. Mercifully, it's not over done with exotic sauces and extravagant names for vegetables. Pound for pound Hamilton's is the best restaurant in the area. The wood fired pizza, fish and chips and the pretzel are the best in the area. I had friends vacationing in Miramar, we took them here on the way to the airport and they said it was the best food they'd had in a week of dining out near the beach and also loved the vibe. The restaurant is spotless. Casual atmosphere in the best ways. The owner is wonderful and dedicated. She's never not working. Stops to greet us and treats repeat customers like family. read more

Visiting family in Freeport and they took us here for Sunday brunch. Great atmosphere. Great beer options, mimosas, fancy coffees sticky pudding. Food was incredible (Had Fish and Chips and Chicken/waffles). Chips were thick house-made greatness. Cole slaw was great, prices very reasonable. Cool, friendly owner was also our server. The customer service was great, but they got my food completely wrong and our entire table (7 people), said that there was something wrong with their food, the most concerning was how the salads tasted sour. The restaurant however was very cute, the fans were not on nor the AC though so it was very hot in there, we had to use our menus as fans. read more

Horrible. We waited for a while to be waited on and that was after one of our party went inside to ask if we were going to be waited on. I ordered the lobster ravioli for an appetizer and a pizza, the other three ordered the fish and chips. The ravioli was cold. I'm serious, the middle was COLD! The orders came out piecemeal. The order for the couple we were with went to another table first. when the person at that table said that it wasn't theirs, the waitress left it sitting there while she tried to figure out where it went. The husband of the couple we were with finally told her that he thought it was probably theirs. Finally, my wife's order came out with the wrong fish. Since she doesn't eat cole slaw, she gave it to me and it had a bitter taste. After sitting hungry watching the others eat, I asked about my pizza only to be told that it was taken to the wrong table. I canceled my pizza because by now, the evening was ruined for me and I didn't want anything they have. I really do not enjoy sitting watching other people in our party eat while I'm left without due to incompetent service. I thought about calling Pizza Hut delivery. Even though the tables all have numbers on them, it was kind of amusing watching the servers run around trying to figure out where the food went. They're carrying food around, (getting cold) with no clue where it goes. They don't make out tickets, so when it came time to check out, that was another nightmare. So while we're dealing with that, a waitress is running around with an order and calls out, (Did anybody here order cheese curds?) I overheard somebody else saying that they didn't put the cheese on the pretzels. You would think the place is run by carpenters and it was their first night. Sadly, it's not and they have been in business for a while, you would think they would have it figured out. If you like overpriced, cold food served by a grossly incompetent staff, this place is for you, otherwise, stay the hell away. read more

We've tried this place twice. I really wanted to like it and it has so much potential. The servers desperately need better training. Service was slow and they can't make menu recommendations. No drink refills were brought on two different trips. And, we had to track down our bill so we could pay- twice. Mostly, my rating is because the food is sub par. The pizza is just not good and could be improved by using better quality ingredients. They brag so much about it and really seem to be proud of it, so we have been shocked to have it twice and it taste worse than a frozen pizza. We had the supreme and meatball. I've had pizza all over the world and rarely would I leave a review like this even at a simple pizza joint. We have also tried the fish and chips and the meals were overly greasy and the fish tasteless. Sorry. Can't recommend this place. read more

Best pizza in the area in the bistro and great burgers (or fish and chips, if that's your preference) outside at the food truck. Giant pretzels with cheese are yummy too. Charcuterie boards available and the soups are made there at the bistro. Comfortable atmosphere inside with full bar inside and you can eat outside with live entertainment when weather allows. There is a separate bar outside at the pavilion with beer and limited wine selection. Wide variety of talents - both bands and single singers. Great place for kids to run around and play outside where you can still see them from the pavilion area. They have all sorts of plans for improvements as they learn and grow. read more
