We had such a great experience at Fat Daddy's Pizza! We ordered a large pizza based on the cook's recommendation, and he was 100% honest -- it was hands down the best pizza I've ever had. The flavor, crust, and toppings were all spot on. My friend ordered a calzone and she loved hers too. What impressed me even more was their integrity. They accidentally overcharged me, and I didn't even notice -- but the very next day I saw a credit on my debit card refunding the difference. Finally! I've suffered far too much bad pizza in SBR ... we have a winner! This was a great pie. It came heaping with fresh cheese, fresh mushrooms, and plenty of sausage without overwhelming amount of sauce. Not sure if Fat Daddy's is breaking Walton County law by having edible crust (every where else we've tried is SO bad), but I love what they do: it's not a thin crust, but perhaps just two thin crusts stacked. Any more and they'd get to doughy, but this design give a great proportion of toppings, sauce, and crust in each bite. Not to go all Brooklyn 99 here, but the mouth feel is a winner. Best yet, it is a fantastic cold pizza slice, as well. Given the quality of the ingredients, we experienced no hardening or coagulating of the cheese. I'm definitely a Fat Daddy's fan ... well done!
