A lot of movies, music videos, and TV have been filmed here, often to depict otherworldly alien landscape, it was in a couple episodes of Star Trek and the gift shop has some Star Trek related merchandise. You can park right next to the famous rocks and go climbing up, this is my favorite type of park since there are no guardrails or fences, you can go where you want. Be careful though, the ranger told us the week before we went someone got scared coming down and broke their ankle and had to be airlifted out, remember it's always easy to climb up than it is to climb down. Toward the back of the famous rocks are some nice boulders and a hike you can go on, some of these rocks look like animals or faces and is worth checking out if the famous ones are too crowded. The witches hat is a bit hard to find but go to the visitor center and it's walkable from there. The rangers can help you find it, there are also animals in the different sheds you can check out.

For the most part trails are pretty flat however, rocky and uneven ground in certain parts so make sure to wear sturdy shoes. I'd recommend taking a backpack with some water, pack a few snacks, or even a sack lunch to enjoy while on the trail. And most importantly make sure to take your trash out with you.

I recently came back to soak up some sun with my baby and really enjoyed it. The park is kept clean, there's plenty of shade, grills for picnics and barbecues, and even a playground for children. It's pretty perfect for families and pets alike. My only concern is that I've seen people let their dogs off leash outside the designated dog run. I know a lot of owners assume their dog would never run off or bite anyone, but they're still animals and should be kept leashed at all times for everyone's safety.

Great place for kids to practice gymnastics…read more The owner is very friendly and helpful. They've gone through different t ownership recently and the gym is in good hands. My two young daughters love their coaches and always have fun in class. The coaches are kind and very patient. They don't currently have a team but they're sort of rebuilding that aspect of the gym. Overall it's a wonderful place for kids to gain strength, confidence, and to make friends. We're so happy to have enrolled our kids.

My suggestion learning from my mistake before you do a spontaneous family trip call before you go in since they can charge whatever they want or look at the website to see if new prices are available but check before you go in. It's been weeks with no replies or phone calls back Update: so we reserved and booked a room in May for August and Carlos told us it's ours as long as we pay our dues when they are due. Well today we got an email saying "I just remembered there's a concert going on that day" so now we are a month away from when our event was suppose to happen and no longer have a place to hold it. Why didn't Carlos check the calendar when dealing with us months ago? Bad customer service! A concert is a huge thing it's not like it was just now planned I'm sure they knew months in advance. My advice don't plan to use their rec room it's been a hassle from the get go.
