i went with another adult & 4 boys ages 10-14 for a birthday celebration. It was very easy to sign up & pay a little wait in line, the lady who helped us covered basically everything we could ask when signing up. Gearing up was easy, you could basically do it yourself everything under big signs, big tables & bins with plenty equipment. They have a couple people behind the bins etc to assist you. Now the only loop hole and concern to the day was i think we should be assigned to a ref from then. We put our paint balls in & kinda walked up to the first circle of people gathering around the ref & we heard 2 kinds of numbers 55 or 68 which i think was the division of skills & equipment. We were counted out pretty evenly in numbers wise but i feel we should have been put into groups that fit each other in battle at least a little bit more evenly. If not completely on different fields (novice,shooter & killer) which of course may be difficult. Only suggestion or complaint was the steps from getting into groups & onto fields of play with evenly matched skills & equipment.The staff were energetic, professional & patient to deal with a lot of different personalities & crazy energies from customers with the state of mind & thought process of being on on a battlefield. Now i must say a guy named Art did a great job engaging with everyone & really really stressed the have fun but be safe took the time to make kids comfortable & gave us pointers and had us juiced up. I noticed him pressing to make sure everyone had a chance to get as many chances on each field as possible which for my cheap self was the reason to write review other than that it was nice to have a place were women, men & kids of all ages, nationalities & backgrounds & they had us working together in groups laughing sharing war stories etc GREAT ATMOSPHERE. We were on maybe 5 min breaks between each session & everyone was eating, gearing up & interacting a lot good vibes and energy i mean we were shooting at each other. they kept us together & i felt they did all they could to get us the most out of the experience they even had us switching sides after quick games. Get a little more organized logistically so the guys who want to be at war with the real equipment & skilled guys get their own field or better job of evening out the scales not just numbers & this is the perfect place for groups small & large to come to regularly. I will be back & will get more people to try this its a lot of healthy fun & again special thanks to Art i see your passionate about what you do my brother & you kept us old timers & my boys safe & totally engaged all day. I've been going to other paintball fields for a while. I always thought that critical paintball was the best , but I wanted to try something new so I came out here. Right away I fell in love with this place. Going up the hill the view was nice and the fields looked so cool. First of all, the people in sign ups were so nice and helpful. And after we paid they told us where to go and got us organized. Second, after we got our gear and gun there was ref waiting for us and told us to go to the gas sign and they gave the safety brief there. Honestly I've seen situations where they just speed through the rules and don't really go over everything but NOT here!! The brief was thorough and direct and I'm glad they don't tolerate 10 feet or closer and have the self equipped players shooting at 280. The games were great and so much fun. The refs were amazing and chill. You can tell they go out of their way to show customers a great time. I can vouch for the rest of my group that we all had a great time and such an amazing experience. We will be definitely going back. read more

First and last time we visit this place. Took about an hour and a half to get our equipment after signing our waivers. Most of the staff have no clue what is going on. We were told to take a seat on the tables they provide and we would be playing in as little as 10 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes before any referees could get us into a game. They push you to go to the top fields because the ones in lower lever are a joke. After heading up top, where the so called "specialty" fields. There was nothing "special" about them. We arrived at 9am and we got to play our first game around 1130am. We got to "enjoy" 4 more games before it was time to leave. The staff do not do a proper job cleaning vests, guns, helmets, and ammo pouches. Also paying $60 for a case of 2000 paintballs, when I hear Mike (the owner) paying no more than $12 a case. It seems to me that Mike takes advantage of the people that are new to this sport, trying to squeeze as much money as he can out of them. There are better locations elsewhere and my group and I will not be coming back. read more

Guns were ok, containers holding the extra paintballs fell apart, I ended up losing alot of paintballs, had to switch the pouch out 3 times before getting a decent one. There was a group of regulars who were friends with the refs, so they convinced the refs not to check the guns before the matches. There guns were over clocked and finally after so many ppl complaining or getting hurt, they finally checked the guns and had them turn them down for 1 match and then the following one they were back to being over clocked. It was very unfair and made the game not fun. The fields themselves were great. That was about the only thing that was. I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor will I go there myself. Edit: My visit was yesterday 6/4 and I told the lady with the silver looking hair "3rd times the charm" on the pouches. As far as the refs, yes they had a portable chronograph or whatever it's called, but like I said he was friends with them and also used there gear to play during his break. Just Fyi The Gear there is about 3 years olds, the way they clean mask is they dump them into water and wipe them off in a bucket that is old and dirty. The Vest are in awful shape they smell bad and are extremely dirty. The guns are very old and barely work. Everything is scrubbed with a disgusting old brush like the pod packs, guns, even tables its disgusting. I recommend not using any of their gear. They say its field only paint but no one checks if you have your own or not, so just go buy some boxes for cheaper then use that if you'd like. Also the netting is good awful it is very hard to tell which field is which and if even that if a field. I know Mike the owner is going to respond to this is a "professional way", but it's all BS he doesn't give any crap about his employees if you work there, expect no brake, so working 9 hours straight and having the manager yell at you for not taking one when you were never informed to, also while referring back to back games. read more

I played here usually twice a month since its not that far of a drive, since 2 months ago the field has gone down hill in terms of players that are skilled. The owner treats his employees like crap in turn they do not care for their jobs. The refs and employees do not know anything about paintball therefore they can not fix your gun much less their own rentals. My little brother asked some guy alfreado or something like that about his spyder and he said he didnt know anything about them which is funny since they left him in charge of their gun booth. I however will stop going and taking friends up here since the lack of knowledge this field and employees has. Dont you dare put anything bad on Mikes yelp page he will get upset because he knows every bit of it is true. read more

I love Paintball USA it is one of the best places to go for your first time and have fun but it is also a good place for experienced people to play too. At Paintball USA all the workers are great everyone there is helpful and nice especially a worker they have named angel if you need anything you should probably go to him for help or assistance. I went there with a Groupon deal with my friends for a total of 18 people to have a private session and I can tell you it was amazing! I loved the refs being chill and only interfering when safety was at stake (Shout out to Nick Lean the absolute best ref/guide/introducer to paintball ever. We all loved you man). They really made my first time going paint-balling awesome for me and everyone in our group and I recommend it to everyone. read more

This place was AWESOME!! We had a blast and our head referee Art was the best!! His previous military experience and training kicked in when one of our players started to experience signs of a heat stroke. Great, fun and safe fields to play on. The refs were very active, knowledgeable and friendly! Reasonably priced. We've had no problems bringing our own paint. Be sure to bring food, drinks, snacks in a cooler. It gets HOT HOT in the Summer time so dress accordingly and most importantly, STAY HYDRATED! I love this paintball place. My son loves coming here and I love the staff, they are so friendly and the referees are so helpful on and off the field!! This is the same place I go every weekend (practically) to play at. The only thing is, it's not in los angeles. The one I go to is in the santa clarita valley. A lot of my buddies go there and have a great time. The refs are cool. Actually everyone's cool there. This is one of my fave sports and the best place to paintball so I will give it a thumbs up. read more

We were self equiped. We all had our own guns and masks. Youre tripping. We never said anything about rentals. Last time me, my team or family will ever go there. Not even a recommendation.
