This magnificent little park has a little bit of everything. -That's what makes it great.:) A group of off-duty army veterans are setting up a volleyball game. A father is teaching his youngest son how to 'hit one outta the park'. Small family barbeques are being planned and celebrated in the shade of one of the first-come-first-served gazebos. A future skateboard influencer is setting up a"live feed"for his tictoc fans. Cool Palmdale kids are practicing their 360s at the skateboard ramps and half pipe in the skate park. My favorite Instagram friend is practicing his free throw.... all the way from Greece?! Ok, maybe it just looked like him. This is a great place to practice your free throws! Old friends are playing a pick up game at the basketball courts. Future Lakers in the making! Kids are playing games, swinging on swings, sliding down slides, playing sports and .. musical instruments??!! Future rock stars can practice outdoor instruments here and out. Bring the band for an outdoor concert. There's a commemorative plaque in this park paying homage to Vietnam veterans. My dad served in the military during the Vietnam war, so I came to get a picture of the plaque for him. What a great park! I'm enjoying the weather, admiring everything and everyone. I brought my takeout to a nice table in the shade. Pandemic points! Every time I come to this park I get to trade smiles with somebody different. I moved to the area for a reason, the people. This park is located in an area of the Antelope Valley that looks like a country rap video directed by Clint Eastwood starring everyone. I traded hair compliments with the most beautiful little girls I've ever seen. Rainbow beads, you are my sunshine "No YOUR hair is prettier!" In return I got one of the best smiles in my life from their father. Why do I get something better back when I give a compliment, a hug or a smile! I don't know, but this park is a premier place to practice. I left with a skip in my step. A full tummy. Cool pictures. Great advice. And. The distinct impression that this place and one smile could change the world. I drove away playing "We can work it out" from Stevie Wonder. I didn't make it out of the parking lot before I got another smile and a nod. Everybody should come check out this park. Bring your picnics, team practices, YouTube fans, your biggest smile and your family.:) read more

We always enjoy coming to Marie Kerr Park. they have an amazing playground with music instruments and a playground with access for people with different capabilities. I also enjoy their indoor activities. They also have different games and toys we can play with. It's also a great place to have birthday parties read more

The park is beautiful...but as a resident I hate the fact that they having music playing from 8-9am to 9-10pm. I work during the week and will love to have my weekends of peace and quiet plus I have young babies in my home with my 81 year old auntie whom I take care of. The noise is domestic torture. And I hope they find another location to play their extremely loud music some place else. Most of my neighbors feel the same way. This is a working community and a retired community.. We shouldn't have to go through this as tax players and as homeowners. Someone put it stop to it because the community is not happy about it most people that come to this park and partake in that music are not from around here. read more

Great park! Beautiful, spacious, nicely located. The play equipment is pretty cool, with different obstacles and challenges, slides and swings. They added a new area recently, for younger kids. Only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars: no shade over the play structures. read more

Beautiful park amazing place to take a walk or run while listening to music, I ran my track race at this park back in 2020.

The skatepark looks and feels like it was designed by someone who's never ridden a skateboard in their life, it is pretty janky so bring big wheels, it is also Uber steep but considering it is the ONLY skatepark in the Antelope valley it is well better than nothing. read more

Check out the basketball court; Paul George (Palmdale native) just recently visited the park and put a new 2k styled canvas court on the basketball courts. Skate park, slides for kids, volleyball, swimming pool, baseball field, and the Palmdale apitheater is right there also!! Rancho vista is a great area, I am 21 and loved growing up here. read more

This place is great! I come here for runs after work. I am a young woman and never feel unsafe due to the security and well-lit trails. Dog and kid friendly. They have bathroom, vending, pool, playground, baseball field, courts, everything you would expect. They never seem to turn off their trail lights but the main field lights are normally out by midnight. Never super crowded. read more

Great local park with a walking trail, basketball courts, baseball fields and more. I always came here for hoops. It can get pretty crowded during the day, but they turn on the lights at night until 10 p.m. or something. They also have bathrooms, vending machines and a playground. It'd say it's a great place for the family, but I've witnessed/smelled some pot-smoking on multiple occasions. read more

I took my daughter today to our local park. We live 5 minutes away from this park. When we arrived there was an older lady with I believe 2 of her granddaughters. My daughter ran to the playground area. The 2 little girls followed behind their grandmother. The grandmother whispered something to one of the kids. I didn't think anything of it. When my daughter approached one of them to play they said they want to play a lone. I didn't think anything of that either. Some kids don't like to play with others. There was another kid that arrived that looked like my daughter and one of the girls age started playing in the playground. The 2 little girls began playing together with the other child. Both parties where not together. Still I did not think anything wrong with this situation. Every time the 3 girls got near my daughter the oldest one would say "Let's go". They would run to the grandmother of the 2 girls and I would hear their grandmother say if they were ok. The 3 girls appeared out of no where and one of them said that my daughter was not allowed to play with them. This lady did not want my daughter near her grandchildren. This is a very sad situation that my 4 year old daughter had to experienced from an older lady who should now better. Teaching her grandchildren not to play with my daughter because she does not have blond hair blue eyes is beyond disgusting. Little does this ignorant lady know we work with kids of all back grounds. We left to finish our day out to George Lane park. Shame of this lady for having her own grandchildren treat my daughter with such disrespect. read more

Super fun park for everyone! Sometimes teenagers with foul language hang out next to the kiddie play area and most of the time there isn't law enforcement to help move them out. read more

Used to play soccer there. It's in ok shape but it's not in a good area and a lot of bad things happen there like fights and drugs. Not the safest place read more

love this park! great outer walking trail that's well maintained and well lit. perfect for taking the pups out for a nice stroll. the large loop is about 1.3 miles. and there are usually ball games going on so there is always something fun to watch which helps the miles fly by! read more
