The owners were courteous, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the beautiful variety of plants on the property--and there are plenty. It was such a unique and personalized experience. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous, and if I hadn't been told about this place, I would have never known it existed. As a garden and plant fanatic, I can say this spot is truly special. If you ever need plants for your home or garden, this is the spot to visit! On a scale of 1 to 10, this place easily scores a 15!

We had our daughter's wedding at Hummingbird Gardens, Tampa, Florida on Feb 14th. The venue was…read moreextremely pleasant, beautiful, easily accessible and full of nature including peacocks. It is a family-owned nursery, especially designed for special events like weddings etc. As bride's parents we first encountered with this family-oriented business when we had to put up the Mandap/poruwa/wedding Altar. Since the day one until the wedding is over and taking the structure down, we had beautiful memories. Francesca and Shani are the ones we directly dealt with, and they are so accommodative for our requests and made us so welcome and comfortable. They helped us to make our decision in making our structure giving us very positive comments. They were very helpful with the time frame. On the day of the wedding as we arrived, the whole place decorated with flowers and it was elegantly beautiful! It was like I was in a fairy land, very magical. Francesca was extremely professional and decorated the place so beautifully to meet the wishes of the couple. Shani added beauty and flowless running of the show as a great coordinator. Shani is very professional, very kind and loving. She executed the program very elegantly and to the highest standard. We would recommend this venue to anyone without reservation! We left this place with our hearts filled with love and beautiful memories!

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 It was my first time in Tampa, and after hearing so many great things about this spot, my friends and I made it a point to eat here. When we first arrived, we honestly didn't expect a Michelin-starred restaurant to have this kind of setting- not in a bad way btw, just different from what we imagined! We went around 3 PM, and it wasn't too busy, so our group of three was seated immediately. They also have a back patio, but it was way too hot outside, so we opted to stay indoors with the AC. The service was excellent. Since it was our first time dining here, we spent quite a while looking through the menu. The staff were very patient, answered our questions, and gave some helpful recs. For food, I ordered the grouper sandwich because I saw that the fish was locally caught and was intrigued. It was a little saltier than I would have liked, but I still enjoyed it a lot. My friend got the grilled shrimp house salad and the pistachio crusted red snapper. The red snapper was WOW so delicious. The lemon beurre blanc balanced the dish perfectly. It was my friend's order, but I kept finding myself stealing bites from her plate lol. We also got a classic risotto with added shrimp and it was another standout. I really enjoyed it because it wasn't overly creamy, so I never got tired of eating it. I would definitely order this again. Okay, now onto the oysters... OMMGGGGGGGGG. The Shigoku from Samish Bay, WA was my absolute favorite out of all the oysters we tried. You honestly have to taste it yourself to understand how sweet it is. We also wanted to order more of the Royal Miyagi oysters, but unfortunately they had already run out and only had one left. So sad!!!! While waiting for our food, I walked around the market and loved browsing all the different items they had for sale. There were locally made souvenirs, sauces, honey, prepared foods, merchandise, and so much more. Definitely worth taking some time to explore if you're there. Overall, it was such a lovely experience, and I would absolutely come back whenever I'm in Tampa again!

I made it a point to check it out - and I'm very glad I did! This is really a hidden treasure. Going in the door was like walking into a candy store, so many goodies. Fresh bread, pastries, savories and more. I was immediately drawn to the huge beefsteak tomatoes. They looked wonderful and absolutely were, as we couldn't wait to have one when I brought them home. I cannot justify buying hard, force ripened ones from grocery stores. And that was just the beginning! Sweet corn, squash, cukes, green beans and do much more. I was a little pressed for time so only filled one bag but I will be back. A huge variety of fruits, Greek and Arabic specialties, and a large deli area. I did want to try their Spanish soup - next time. And I didn't have time to check out all the coolers and shelves. I spotted some delicious looking cheesecake but had to turn away, we are starting back to WW this week and have not been watching our diet closely.
