When we got to the register, the cashier said there were two different types of candy in one of the bags. She wasn't very clear what the problem was, actually quite rude and snippy. it took me a second but we figured out the chocolate needed to be separated out from the other candy, so I stepped aside with my daughter and helped her separate it while my husband checked out with our sons. After the cashier wrung in my son's and my husband paid she handed the bags of candy back to my husband and said "great way to raise your kids, you got away with it". Apparently my son had four pieces of chocolate in his bag as well. When I got outside my husband was telling me and another family overheard us and asked if we were talking about the cashier, he said yes. They said she was terribly rude to them, threw a pair of scissors at him when he asked to cut a tag of something he had purchased. I'm incredibly disgusted that this type of customer service is tolerated in your business. My children were treated and made to feel like thieves over a mistake, one we were obviously very willing to fix if we had been made aware. "Great way to raise your kids, you got away with it" would be acceptable if we were there with malicious intent trying to steal from you but that was obviously not the case in this instance. I genuinely can't even describe how disgusted I am by the way my family was treated today.

While browsing, they have plenty of options from nonfiction to fantasy to local history. Once I saw that they had all of Sarah J Mass' collections, I knew they had good taste. ;) They currently have a cart outside with FREE advance reader copies of novels being released soon, so I grabbed a thriller to check out! The employees are so friendly and welcoming, willing to help you find whatever kind of book you need! I've stopped here before on my drives through town, and I will continue to stop! Last time, I got a signed copy of a Mary Kay Andrews book! She had recently had a book signing. Flowers still opening, wonderful scent filling the room, flowers in excellent shape five days later. My wife is thrilled. Was pricey at $140 delivered Saturday am but minimal price delivered I found while shopping around was $100 for less than spectacular for something my wife would like. Furthermore they left flowers on front porch and then called to make sure we got them, nice touch. The owner is extremely sweet, very helpful and kind. Wanted to know my wife's fav colors, took extra time to make sure we would be happy. I was initially concerned by some of the negative reviews, important to remember that sometimes people are unreasonable and/or cranky and unfortunately those are often the sort of people who leave negative reviews.
