On the other side of the store, they had a large and expansive selection of Pawley's Island and Litchfield souvenirs, to include t-shirts, coffee mugs, hats, bumper stickers, etc. I was also happy to see that they sold a small selection of postcards, which included the store on the front of one! My only minor complaint is that the store didn't open until 12:30 on the day that I went, when it would have been nice to open a little earlier and avoid the beating sun. This only really matters if you're visiting in the summer like I did, and is again a very minor complaint. Other than that, Pawley's Island Mercantile was great, and I'd recommend it as a candy or souvenir store!

Furthermore they left flowers on front porch and then called to make sure we got them, nice touch. The owner is extremely sweet, very helpful and kind. Wanted to know my wife's fav colors, took extra time to make sure we would be happy. I was initially concerned by some of the negative reviews, important to remember that sometimes people are unreasonable and/or cranky and unfortunately those are often the sort of people who leave negative reviews.
