    2 queen with sofa bed
    Ariane M.

Stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights and would stay here again if ever in the area. From check in, throughout our stay, and check out was smooth. The employees are very nice, especially Carlos. We stayed in a 2 queen with a sofa bed room. The room was equipped with a mini fridge and microwave as well. I love a room with a microwave, it's not very common anymore. The beds were comfy, pillows were a little too soft but that's okay. No issues with cleanliness. Loved the complimentary breakfast. They have a waffle station, bagels, toasts, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, meat, and potatoes. They also serve coffee, water, and juice. They also have a mini mart where you can purchase things. Another plus is free parking. The only downside is what all the other reviews mentioned was the paper thin walls, but we didn't have any issues with over excessive noise. Otherwise, great hotel.

    Great breakfast, good food

Started in room 130 in Hampton Inn. The first impression was good, when you walk in the hotel, entrance hall is very neat and clean, staff greets right away. Checked in very fast. The hotel room itself is interesting, on itself the beds and walk in hall with a round mirror is very nice and modern, same as when you make your way to bedroom, everything is very clean and not stains okay carpet or bed. But then you get a table for TV on which there is some parts of wood that are hanging off and are pretty sharp, it's not too much but still noticeable when you come in. Then the slide door was missing, instead we had a door that separated bathroom with shower and sink with closet rooms. But the door between sink and bedroom was not present, it made us a little uncomfortable since it plays a pretty big part, as you are in it you can see the bedroom fully with windows okay the front of hotel. The breakfast was amazing, area where we it takes place is neat and clean, overall food is good, you self serve yourself a lot of foods, from cereal, and toasts to making waffles. Loved it. I would say that for overall review the hotel worth it and very good to stay in LA. Recommend and will come back here!!

Stayed here during Spring Break for a couple nights while we went to Knotts Berry Farm. It was a short distance driving to the park from the hotel. Even though parking at the park costs $, the parking at the hotel was free for guests. The staff at the hotel were genuinely friendly and courteous. Such a welcome feeling after hours of driving in So Cal traffic. The room was spacious and clean. Two nice size queen beds and quiet. The best part was a good breakfast each morning from 6am-10am. Not just your continental fluff. Make your own waffle bar, omelettes or other eggs, bagels, sausage, cereal, juice and coffee. Fresh fruit as well. What a great way to save on a meal for the family. We would definitely choose this place again if we were in the area. Thank you for true hospitality!

This review is for 4.5 stars. Very close to Knotts Berry Farm. Very nice clerk at the front desk. Pet-friendly. Very nice room on the 2nd floor, very nice toiletries (- great for sensitive skin) attached to the wall), very nice property, very nice offerings, esp. the breakfast buffet, which is top-notch (waffle station, all the fixings, toast, bagels, mini muffins, eggs, meat, oatmeal, 2 cereals, yogurt, complete w/ all the fixings, several selections of fruit, juices, decaf, robost regular, & hot water (swiss miss & teas). It just doesn't matter where you stay anymore, there's going to be inconsiderate people around, slamming the doors, yelling in their room, or above us, the heaviest footsteps, frankenstein feet, but it probably wasn't an old person or an overweight person, it was most likely a hyperactive child or teenager, the steps were fast and frequent. I didn't hear showers being taken which was a plus. Our room faced the main street so there was quite a bit of traffic friday morning. Not bad, this morning but it's saturday.

I enjoyed my one night my stay here on route to Disneyland. Our two queen room was clean, lots of free parking, friendly front desk staff. The complimentary breakfast from 6 am to 10 am was fantastic considering free breakfast. The morning we stayed they had Denver egg omelettes, sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, waffle maker, muffins, bagels, pastries, fruit juice, coffee. They also had "to go bags at the front for those that were on the run that included a bottle water, apple, and muffin. The eating area was nice although I chose to take my food back to my room. The pool and fireplace at night looked lovely, although I didn't utilize these. The beds in the room was comfortable and shower was great. The only minor complaint I have is the walls are thin so I could hear the baby next door crying. But it's a minor thing for me at an otherwise nice hotel.

    Hidden racks inside the cubboards

Stayed here last month one night with my sister on our way home from Vegas. Decided to stop in SoCal to pick up all the good eats! This hotel seemed pretty new and was very clean and modern. It was right off the freeway so easy to find and parking is free here yay! Check in was quick and the front desk staff was friendly. The COVID safety here was great! The room was super clean and they even seal the doors with a sticker once the room has been cleaned for the next guests. Lately my sister and I have been spraying hotel rooms down with Lysol and wiping all countertops ourselves out of safety but here it actually felt really clean. I think they upgraded our room because there was a sofa and the room was very spacious. They had a small section with a fridge, microwave, sink and countertop that was a nice place for snacks or food we brought back to eat. The bathroom was separate with another room with just the toilet and shower. The sink area and closet had another sliding door on the outside. The door for the toilet/shower area was a little annoying though, as it would not stay open and kept closing on its own. The design wasn't thought out too well. Beds were super comfy and not too low to the ground. Actually kinda had to climb up to get in. Also had some hidden racks in the cubbies which was cool for people who plan to stay a while. We didn't use the TV since we were only there one night, so not sure what channels they have but the WIFI worked well. The only downside to the stay was that the walls are pretty thin. We could hear them cleaning in the room next door in the morning. For a newer hotel, would think the rooms would be more sound proof. During COVID breakfast was served through a window and had to be taken to your room to eat. They had a list of items available and you ask for the items you want. The two ladies working breakfast were friendly and patient with us. They were still offering some hot items such as eggs and sausage. Also had fruit, cereal, yogurt, assorted breads that they toast for you, juice coffee and milk. Surprisingly it wasn't busy when we went down for breakfast and it was almost closing time. This was a better COVID breakfast then some of the other hotels we've been to during the pandemic. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit. Hopefully when it's warm so we can try their pool, I believe they told us was open when we checked in. Also have a nice lounge area outside with what looked like a fire pit for chilly evenings.

    2 queen suite
    Mr. G.

I stayed in a 2 Queen Suite. The room is very spacious. The beds didn't look like a queen size to me it looked more like a full but not a problem for me. I enjoyed the pool and the spa. It was nice to relax for a bit. Me and my family were the only ones outside so it was nice. Over all it's a nice place to stay and the staff is friendly.

The two-queen room I got had a balcony facing the courtyard / pool area, so that was nice, but the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, even with the air running (I mentioned it to the front desk so I wouldn't get hit with a smoking charge on my account). I did appreciate the empty fridge to store leftovers and drinks and the ability to stream from YouTube on the TV, so I could have what I wanted to watch and listen to for background noise while in the room. On the other hand, there were some perks of staying here. The most convenient thing is that Porto's is across the street. Trust me when I say, do not drive over to Porto's. Take advantage that you're at the hotel across the street and walk over to save time! There's also lots of uncovered parking on both sides of the property, so you can pick where to park to be closer to get to your room, though it's an open lot, so anyone can come in and out and there's no shelter from the rain. The lobby area has been renovated and is really nice if you need the space and quietness to do some work, wait for your room to be ready, or just to hang out. Staff was pretty awesome too. We had to blow up some balloons and they allowed us the use of an empty meeting room so that we do not disturb anyone in the lobby.

My kids enjoyed them so much. The hotel room and amenities met my expectation for a hotel. We did have some issue with the hot water in our bathroom. But I was able to call the front desk, and they were able to send someone to fix it the same day so finally, hot water in the shower! I wanted to talk about how AMAZING the shuttle service is. So they provide a complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. My kids actually enjoyed the shuttle service and it worked out really well with timing for us to travel to the amusement parks without worrying about driving/parking. They have a phone number you can text to make/cancel reservations, they do require advanced notice for this. Each time, they do send a confirmation text so I know I will be picked up. The shuttle may run on time or a little bit late or even a little early, but overall, it was a good experience with it. We always arrived to the stop early enough so we can board. The shuttle does allow strollers without issue so that is great. I think the biggest perk of this place is the shuttle service. Also, parking at the hotel is easy. There's plenty of parking and they do not charge for parking if we are a hotel guest. They provide a parking pass to use during our stay. In the evening, the spots closer to the hotel are taken but still plenty of parking. This is a great location in Buena Park, it is very close to Portos as well so that's a great bonus!

It's also just about 8 minutes from Knott's Berry Farm and Buena Park Downtown. The motel itself was very clean, quiet, and well‑maintained, with plenty of parking. One downside was that we initially had trouble finding the front entrance, as it's located near the handicap parking area in the front. There may be an elevator, but we couldn't locate it. The pool area was also nice and well kept. The staff were courteous, and I really appreciated that they used my first name when I arrived to check in--it made the experience feel more personal. The room was decent for four adults, with enough space to fit a queen‑size inflatable bed comfortably. It also included helpful amenities like a mini refrigerator, ironing board, iron, and hair dryer. One minor drawback is that while the windows let in a nice amount of natural light, there isn't a sheer curtain layer--only blackout curtains--so people walking by can see into the room. There's also no microwave, the outlets are somewhat limited, and the TV remote only worked when used up close. Other than that, I have no complaints. I would stay here again because it's close to everything, but for me and my family, it's more of a short‑term stay rather than a place for an extended visit.

The bathroom looks and feels very dated. Parking was easy. There were spots to park but not very many extra. There were events going on so i'm sure that was why limited parking. It's decent, it's not that bad and it's near walking distance to some good places - Knotts Berry is a 15 min walk but we drove there instead being like a good 1-2 min drive. Medieval Times was like a block away (Cable Guy was filmed there) but maybe next time, along with Porto's SoCal Only exclusive bakery, Target and much others, and Outback Steakhouse is next door. Anyway, the rooms are decent and so was the pool but didn't take a dip even though I did bring some swim shorts. The shower in our room where I stayed could've had some soap bar holder of some sort but didn't. The AC was working though it wasn't scorching hot that week, didn't seem to auto turn off when the temperatures are met so I just turned it off during the evening. Continental breakfast is from 7-9am and we got up early for that and love the waffle machine which you make with the provided batter, corn flakes cereal and Cheerios toast, milk coffee probiotic yogurt. I just use the waffle machines at the desired timer of 2:30 and take it out. Of course the atmosphere is pleasant and the patrons here surely the majority are staying here of course to go to the amusement park no doubt. There is a jacuzzi but it was out of service at the time. There is no gym as I walked around. Free WiFi is ok but I couldn't view our cameras back home so either use the cellular network (we have ATT and is decent speed but faster if you're outside ) or a VPN. And plentiful outlets to plug stuff, hangers, closet ironing board, the short fridge is super cold it could ice your water a bit, and decent tv with ehhh some channels but we didn't watch much. Bathroom door is a sliding door with a hook from the inside and well there isn't much privacy if you're sitting down on the toilet. Let's start with the actual check-in process. When I walked in, I felt a slight attitude from the women that worked behind the counter. I felt like I was bothering them to check in and did not really feel welcomed. The room itself is quite old and small, but did the job as it was only for me and two minor boys. However, there are a few things that I noticed off hand that were just strange and not up to the Marriott standards that I'm used to. First off the TV was very small and did not work. The AC unit was tricky because you could not set an exact temperature you could only set it to cool or hot and warm your room or cool your room down and then be forced to get up and turn it back off. That is absolutely ridiculous. You should be able to be comfortable at a certain temperature in your room as if you were at home. Also, the drape over the window is just a little bit strange and could be a curtain or something a little bit nicer. The actual room came with two queen, beds, a desk, a random chair in the corner. There was no safe in the room, which I guess you can ask for one at the front desk. They also don't clean your room every day so you have to ask for clean towels. However, when I came back a second day and asked for clean towels, I was told they were washing some? That was really strange. I felt like they should always have some handy. Was it really that busy there that they ran out of towels? Also, the guy that came to fix the TV was just really sketchy and I did not understand what he was saying. And why does the TV not have at least a TV guide. In order to watch the TV you have to just constantly hit the channel button and you don't even know what you're trying to find to watch. So I barely used the TV. The bathroom was also something to be left to be desired. They did not give us a tub mat, which was interesting. Luckily my boys are old enough that they don't need one, but I thought that hotels normally give those. Also, there was no extra toilet paper and I had to ask for some at the front desk. They literally give you one makeup wipe, a tiny bar of soap, no lotion and the shampoo and conditioner and body wash are stuck on the wall, which is pretty standard down from some hotels. The hotel lobby is just basic. The breakfast is so so and it's something that's included so we took advantage. The first day we went we were able to sit down and enjoy a little bit of our food. However, the second day was extra crowded and we really just took our food to the room because there was nowhere to sit. We did not use the pool, hot tub or the fitness room so I cannot comment to any of those things. Now I have a question because if I am being charged incidentals? What is that I am being charged for because we did not use anything that we could actually charge. The TV did not have pay per view movies and when we went down to the lobby to get a couple of snacks we had to use our credit card to pay for them. What is the point of paying a deposit if there is nothing to charge to your room? Also the elevator is a little bit scary and quirky. You don't really know if you pushed the button or not and you don't really know which elevator is being called because nothing lights up. I did use the laundry area which is four dollars per wash and four dollars per dry and again had to use my credit card. Again, wondering why I had a credit card on hold for incidentals. With all the other options in the area, I don't think I will come here again. Again the location is fine because it's close to a Korean marketplace as well as a couple of eateries and again Knotts. However, there's other places you could stay that probably do the job better than this place. The owners of this hotel really need to read the reviews and update this place!

Stayed In a family room, AKA suite, for 3 nights. The bed was comfortable, and we got good nights'…read moresleep even with super soft pillows. Both showers were well drained, and hot water came on quickly. It was nice with the two bathrooms, as it speeded up our getting out in the morning. Toilets worked well. I mention this because our friend, who we were traveling with, had an issue with the toilet in his room. To make it right, management offered a suite. He just wanted it fixed, and it was. But he asked if we could be upgraded to a suite, and we were! The flat screen tv in our bedroom worked well when we were able to turn it on. As soon as we realized that it didn't come on because it was unplugged, husband moved the dresser and plugged it in. We wanted a channel guide, but none was on the tv or on paper in the room. We used the 2nd bedroom remote as our remote did not work. Maybe batteries were dead. We didn't need the iron & board in 2nd bedroom, but it was nice if we did need it. I definitely used the full length mirror in that room. The blackout curtains worked! No light came in and we slept through the night and sunrise. The AC unit in our bedroom was quiet. In the other room it was noisy. We appreciated the midsize fridge for leftovers. It couldn't refresh our cold packs, but we didn't expect it to do that. Microwave worked, and we assume the coffee pot did too. But we're not coffee drinkers. Only tea. Lids did not fit cups. Wrong cups. Got right ones downstairs. Breakfast staff was phenomenal! They were friendly and kept everything well stocked. Husband loved the eggs every morning, or had the delicious waffles. He also liked the hot meat (sausage, ham while we were there). We both had orange juice, but no coffee, tea or apple juice. Our friend appreciated the yogurts and fresh fruits. I did too, as well as Raisin Bran and reduced fat milk. He also liked the chocolate milk. Front desk staff was efficient and friendly. We had no problems and would recommend this hotel, the staff, and the amenities - especially free parking.
