Perfect place to enjoy with the kids at a reasonable price. Very kid friendly, nice clean property. One of our favorite family hotels.

The Knott's hotel definitely has some charm, we liked it! We go to Knott's quite a bit and have always been curious about the hotel so we decided to use our Prestige pass perk and book a Saturday night and go to the park the next day. There were 2 adults and 3 kids in our group and we got the larger room, which was plenty of room for all of us. At a rate of about $250, it wasn't cheap but also very doable for such a large group. The room had a little kitchen area with 2 barstools and there's a mini fridge in the room. The bathroom products are nice, its a boysenberry vanilla fragrance - that was a very nice touch. The bathroom looks and feels very dated. Parking was easy. There were spots to park but not very many extra. There were events going on so i'm sure that was why limited parking. The lobby is very nice and spacious. You can tell its been redone and now its more modern but still has the farmhouse feel. The lobby furniture is plentiful and comfy and the hotel bar is also right there in lobby. The restaurant Thirty Acres is right behind the bar and there's a tiny cafe that serves Starbucks coffee and they have their own little retail store too, which is nice and convenient. The walk to Knott's is just a few minutes. We looked at pool, basic, has a lot of lounge chairs. There's a fitness center but we didn't get a chance to use or check it out. Bar was great! They have Happy Hour and their drinks are yummy and reasonably priced. Worth it to come to this bar instead of getting drinks in the park because those have become pricey as h@ll!! The bartenders were super friendly. Would return if they did some type of extra discount or special. read more

We have stayed at this hotel two more times since our first day. Our service and experience has been mostly consistent with the first time. In addition to my previous review, I have found a few additional parts of the hotel that I didn't notice before. First, if you go in the gym, there is a sauna and steam room that is available to all guests. Also my kids noticed that if you push the button on their phone with the moon on it that they read stories to you. It was super cute, and it was a great way to help my kids settle after days at the park. I will say that the one negative is sound. On our second visit we had a room on the first floor and it was noisy. We also had a room with an adjoining door. We could hear everything from the people next to us including them arguing. After a while we called the front desk, and they handled it. But that wasn't fun. The front doors to the room don't block out much sound either. read more

My family and I stayed April 8 through April 9. In my party was- my husband, our son ( 5 years old) , our daughter(1.5 years old, our infant (2 months) my mother and myself. Overall, great experience & I would stay again because of the convenience located next to the park. When I was growing up, I would visit Knotts Berry Farm almost every single year from the time that I was five all the way to 13 or 14 years old. I am currently 38 and I haven't been to the park in over 20 years. This was a spur of the moment trip and our family lives about eight hours away from the park. We're from Northern California. So it was really convenient to do a bundle package and get all our tickets included and our hotel stay and our breakfast. Pros- hotel room size. We had two kings and a pull out couch and the room felt very large. It had a bar area, coffee pot, small fridge, a sink outside the bathroom & the bathroom with a tub/shower combo. I had to wash bottles so I really did appreciate the sink outside of the bathroom. Large families-- it's able to accommodate large families. Soooo nice!!! I looked at a lot of hotels and a lot of them would only offer two queen beds. Clean- things were clean and pretty lobby Shop- inside the hotel is a shop and you get a discount when you shop there as a hotel guest. But I also found the boysenberry tea that was sold out of the rest of the park there. Breakfast- our particular package came with breakfast. So you have to make a breakfast reservation in the morning and it included a buffet breakfast. Which was probably one of the best buffet breakfast I've ever had and I was especially surprised at how good the eggs were. Restaurant/coffee- there is a coffee shop and a restaurant on site. I tried the buffet breakfast out of the restaurant which was delicious, but I did not try any of the food but it's really nice to have that accommodation. Con -poor water pressure - difficulty figuring out how turn on the lights in the bathroom - coffee pot in a place where small children can get it - elevator door. We had a situation where our son was entering the elevator as soon as somebody exited, and the doors immediately started closing it on him and it didn't stop or reopen even though the door was actually touching his arm. I was pushing a stroller and there were people in my path as I trying to get to our son to put my arm in there or get him out. Thankfully a man who was standing right next to the door saw the danger and play both of his hands on the elevator door, trying to pry it open, and it still was trying to close. Thankfully it Finally opened! Our son was ok & I let the bellhop know about the situation. Per the bellhop the elevator doors are known to close quickly. I did let the manger know and asked her to check the cameras to review the situation. I do wish someone would let me know if the situation was looked into. I would totally stay again. I thought it was pretty comparable to what other hotels were charging plus it included our tickets and it had different hotel packages and it was on site. I do wish we had stayed an extra night. Every time I have gone this year I have had a wonderful experience. The staff very helpful and it's CLEAN. That is what matters most to me. Also the restaurant in house was awesome the oven bake pizza it's the boom i have had Chicago pizza to New York let's say it has been one of the best I have ever tried. One of the perks have a season pass discount for the hotel including the parking but not it's $20 a night. I heard about the remodel-but WOW!! It's gorgeous at Christmas time. I wast invited to a fundraiser at the grand ballroom which is to your right and upstairs as you walk in. (3rd floor if you take the elevator..even though it looks like it's the second floor as you can see it from the first floor) They did a great job with the remodel. It still had some of that old knotts western themed charm but with an updated farmhouse vibe. The classic Christmas decorations really puts you in the Christmas mood! Beeeautiful!! But check-in was not good because clerk needed approval even though I had paid online but the managers were gone at 6:30pm! Three other guests were checked-in while I kept waiting. Check in went smooth, as usual all the staff was very kind and helpful. They even let us check in early. I love Knott's hotel they always go above and beyond every time. They are all smiles even behind the masks. The decorations are amazing for spooky time. We got our souvenirs early four last year scary farm shirts for $26! They were 2 for $13 at the front desk. Check out time is a reasonable 12 noon. This is helpful when you are at scary farm late. Sleeping in with breakfast options that can be delivered to the room. There is a restaurant attached to the lobby we have been and like it a lot. Overall the trip was a big success and I couldn't have done it without the help of Knott's hotel and staff. read more

We stayed at Knott's Hotel for a week. Overall, it was okay -- not amazing, but not terrible either. Housekeeping came daily and kept the room tidy, which we appreciated. Bathroom cleanliness was acceptable, nothing noticeably dirty. The beds were decent, though not the most comfortable for a longer stay. One issue we ran into was the bed frame corners -- they stick out and are quite sharp. Both I and my kids ended up with multiple bruises throughout the stay, so that's something families should be aware of. Noise was moderate -- you can hear some hallway activity, but it wasn't unbearable. The fridge is very small, so don't plan on storing much food if you're staying multiple days. There also weren't many outlets, which made charging devices a bit inconvenient. On the plus side, there is a good amount of storage space for clothes. However, there's only one mirror -- with three ladies in one room, that made getting ready a bit challenging, especially with the tiny bathroom. The bathroom itself is very small with limited counter space. The pool was just okay, but the water wasn't great for our hair -- whether it's saltwater or the chemicals, it really dried out and damaged my daughter's hair. Parking is free for one car if you book directly through the Knott's website, but it's $25 per day for each additional car. The biggest advantage is the location -- it's very close to Knott's Berry Farm, which makes it convenient for families. We ended up skipping the Boysenberry Festival because the lines were too long, but it was nice being close enough to go back and forth easily. Overall, it's a convenient option if your main goal is proximity to the park, but it's more of an average stay than a comfortable or relaxing one. read more

Upon entering the hotel, I stopped at the kiosk and I said I am here checking into the hotel. They looked me up in the system to confirm my reservation and directed me to where I needed to go. After parking, we were greeted by the valet staff, then the bell hop, then the front desk staff. Everyone was extremely friendly. It has recently undergone a face lift and my friend said it looks beautiful! I have never stayed here, but it looked very sharp, clean, and welcoming. I reserved a room for 4 people with 2 queen beds. When entering the room, it was a little stuffy so we turned on the air. The beds were really nice! It wasnt soft to the point where you can tell if its been worn in. They were still firm, however the pillows were soft and fluffy. We were going to attend Scary farm, and realized their bag policy. I called the front desk and asked if it was true and told me they sell clear bags in the gift shop. So I went downstairs and found the bag right away. The price was about $16 a bag before tax. I overheard the staff telling another guest that you get a 10% discount if you were staying in the hotel. They also accept passholder discounts. I didnt know this, but after returning to my room, they keycard holder said it. The TV had really good image quality for the short time we were watching TV for. The bathroom was clean and the only weird part is that the light switch was outside of the toilet and shower. The sink and the mirror was separated from the toilet and shower by a small walkway. The mirror was a touch sensor light. You can choose from a low light, bright, etc., my group thought it was cool! The hotel had a mini fridge, coffee maker, safe, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and no Bible (not that we are religious, but most other hotels came with one). The small closet provided hangers and a laundry bag. They offer laundry services at this hotel. The bathroom contained 4 sets of towels and two toilet paper holders. There were two trash cans, one in the main room and one in the bathroom. The shower didnt have a lot of water pressure but it sure is sensitive when it came to the temperature adjustment. It had really hot water when the know was set at about 11:55 direction. The shampoo and conditioner were knotts products smelling of boysenberry and vanilla. It also came out purple in color. The body wash was of a different brand, but you leave smelling fresh. The only downside was the doors were kinda hard to close and open, causing a lot of unnecessary sounds in the middle of the night. Other than that, everyone at this hotel was very nice and friendly. This was like our 5th time staying here so this review is long overdue. Every time we have stayed here it has been a consistent 10 stars. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. On the rare occasion that something is not right, they quickly send someone to correct that issue and without an attitude and with some sincere apologies. They offer room service daily and pool side service during the summer months. The restrooms by the pool are constantly being cleaned because obviously, people come wet from the pool to do their business so they come right behind to clean up the water left behind. Check in/ out process is very easy and friendly. You can check in early for a fee if there is availability as well as check out late for a fee as well. They have ample parking for both handicapped and regular parking. It's just a quick walk to the park. We had a great view from our window of the park and the 4th of July fireworks according to my kids. We opted to watch the fireworks from the pool and the fireworks show was amazing. Attended a two day conference at the hotel and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms, the modern farmhouse decor and the wonderful staff. Did not expect this from a hotel associated with a theme park. This newly renovated hotel made sure to create big open spaces for gatherings of all kinds without sacrificing room quality. The room was a good size and would have allowed for plenty of luggage space should a family of four have stayed in the room with 2 queen size beds. We just had an overnight bag so there was more than enough storage. The bathroom products continued the Knott's Berry Farm theme with fruit scented shampoo and lotion. The walls were thick enough that we were not disturbed by other guests as the night wore on so we were able to sleep comfortably. Since our food was part of the conference event, we did not experience the dining options in the lobby, but the bar was a fun place to mingle. Drinks were not watered down and there were many options to choose from. All interactions with the hotel staff were top notch h. Everyone was so nice and helpful and they truly seemed to be enjoying their job. Of you need an inviting place to stay while visiting the local theme parks in Buena Park, I would spend a little more to stay in The Knott's Hotel as you won't be disappointed. read more

Such an absolutely amazing and relaxing experience. The hotel renovations are phenomenal. I stayed at here back in 2022 and the difference is not only noticeable, but beautifully done in my opinion- although I think a hint of purple would have been a cute accent to the new outside paint! The rooms were clean and neat, the little details and decorations were awesome! They offer Boysenberry shampoo/conditioner/body wash, Boysenberry Vanilla hand soap and lotion, and non scented makeup wipes that doesn't agitate sensitive skin (like mine). I loved that the smell of the soaps wasn't overwhelming, but light and refreshing. The courtyard and ballroom are stunning, the main entry way has some super cool new decorations/displays. The pool and spa also has been remodeled, as well as the lounging area. One of my favorite updates has been the Thirty Acres Kitchen! The food has always been great and still is, and the buffet area is GORGEOUS, CLEAN and the dining area is cute and comfortable. Just thrilled that one of my favorite places to visit has done such a great job of renovating their hot. 4 pm check-in? And if you want the "privilege" of getting in early, regardless of the time, you will pay! ($30 vegas style resort fee) As a season pass holder, I have never heard of such greed! we have never stayed at the hotel during one of our trips but decided to try it out! I spent 30 years in hospitality, mostly in housekeeping, and as a diamond hotel, we never charged these fees. The weekday charge is around $300 and it goes up on the weekend ($500). I paid $257 a night. OVERPRICED! I can see $119 or $139 but not what they are asking. This is NOT a diamond hotel. It was taken over by six flags in 2024 and I was told that renovations were done, but where? Definitely not the rooms! I was awoken the first night by dirty water gurgling back up the pipes into the vanity sink. I tried to close the drain plug to keep the water down but it was broken. Several other room deficiencies are noted in the photos, maintenance issues. Escusion shower curtain ring loose, toilet seat needs repair, wallpaper peeling, carpet needs shampoo, etc. If this room attendant is ignoring maintenance in one room, issues are being ignored or not reported in the other rooms she cleans. It should be a room attendant that reports maintenance issues. They are the first line of defense on maintaining a room! All these issues were reported to maintenance as well as the front desk by me! One item I thought was weird was that housekeeping didn't have a button on the phone to call direct. Why not? Service is not a place to cut costs! This wore out property needs a room makeover desperately! A 11% rate reduction was received for inconveniences ... the one plus right now is that it is walkable to Knott's Berry Farm read more

We have stayed here a few times since we are continuous pass holders for Knott's Berry Farm. The hotel has recently been renovated into a beautiful more elegant atmosphere. Definitely, big time improvements. The rooms are clean and comfortable just the walls can be thin so you can hear next door's conversation. On a positive note, we appreciate the proximity to the park, free Wi-Fi, and the Snoopy-themed amenities for kids. The on-site restaurant is amazing offering delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices, in addition the staff is generally helpful and welcoming. I gave our two grandkids a trip to KBF along with staying at the hotel for a full experience with Grandma & Mom, they are 8/11. What a great trip it was & the hotel was a large part of the experience! Sadly, my granddaughter was sick for several days so she & my daughter were unable to come but my other daughter & SIL were able to join us. Without going into major detail, this posed a problem for us & upon check-in we were greeted by Christine. She went above & beyond to help resolve our problem & it truly helped us enjoy our trip that much more. Also, upon check-out, Allie was also a great deal of help, excellent customer service from both women, KBF knows how to train their staff right! Thank you all! We will be returning for a 2nd trip so our granddaughter can experience the ultimate KBF experience! Upon driving onto the hotel grounds, there is a guard shack where parking is monitored. We told him that we were checking into the hotel so we drove ahead to unload our luggage, a parking receipt is provided upon check-in. We went in to check-in & part of the hotel package includes highly discounted KBF tickets, free parking & a great complimentary breakfast at the restaurant on site. The restaurant has a menu where you can find something for everyone & they're open until 10:00 I believe. It's cute, the staff was very friendly & the food was great! In the lobby area is a nice sitting area, a bar & a Starbucks, although it has limited hours. There was a Walgreens within 5 minutes from the hotel for any incidentals or snacks needed. The room was clean with a love seat, we had a view of the huge pool & little water works playground in the pool area. There is also a jacuzzi, towels are provided at the pool & there was plenty of lounge chairs, at least on a Thursday night. My grandson tried to go into the pool but it was a bit too chilly for him, although there were others in there. The rooms were fairly quiet, when passing by one of the rooms we could hear some rambunctious kids in one of the rooms but once in our room, we heard nothing. There is a coffee "bar" & a refrigerator & I think a microwave in the room. It was roomy enough for the four of us for one night. The sink is outside of the shower area so that is convenient & a time saver with two women getting ready. The hotel is just outside of KBF, about a 5-6 minute walk to the gate. I'm 69, I haven't been to KBF since my daughters were about the age of my grandkids & I have to say that one of the things that I love about it is that it's all FLAT, no hills to climb & very well planned out in terms of the rides that are age related. I didn't remember that this park is almost all roller coasters so know that going in as it can alter the kids experience in terms of height restrictions. Our 8 y/o is a little timid when it comes to scary rides but he had the time of his life & came to realize that he's a little braver than he thought he was. The park was clean, the employees were very polite & helpful. Based on the price in comparison to the other big park nearby that I can't afford to take them too, I could see me making this an annual gift, we had so much fun! The other perk is that this park can be seen in LESS than a day, where you feel rushed at the BIG park to try & see everything & ride all of the rides, with HUGE lines, in a day. All in all, a wonderful overnight experience at a very reasonable price! OH, check-out in the hotel is NOON, it's a rare thing when you find that! read more

The hotel went through recent renovations that while I personally disagree with, have still maintained a pretty nice experience for those staying at the hotel. Unfortunately quiet hours mean nothing to families, regardless if it is midnight or 6 in the morning. I have heard young kids now three separate times staying here yelling, screaming, in the halls and in our neighboring rooms, as well as stomping and loud thumps on the ceiling and walls. It feels like the walls themselves are made out of paper, though I know you have to be pretty loud to actually be heard in the other side as I've shared conjoined rooms before, and do not recall ever being able to hear clear conversations in the other room with the door closed when holding a normal volume when talking. This isn't necessarily the hotel's issue, but rather parents who do not want to discipline their children which I unfortunately also saw prominent at the park, but if you have older children or even elders with you, or simply do not want to deal with the irresponsible behavior of parents with their young kids, I recommend asking for accommodations regarding rooms away from people if possible, or staying somewhere else entirely. Staff does what they can and I'm forever grateful, they genuinely are so sweet and caring, but parents nowadays expect staff and even other visitors/customers to babysit their kids and I cannot stand such irresponsibility. read more

This is my first time back to the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel after its remodeling. They did a decent job. I particularly like the new outdoor patio. Just my luck there was an event that day so the staff was there doing sound check so I had a chance to see them in action. One complaint I had is their no sign policy. For someone coming to attend an event, I had to wait inline to find out where to go. Knott's always had a person manning the parking entrance, presumably to make sure people entering have a reason to enter. However, cars could back up really quick as people arrived for an event. Food at Knott's is your typical hotel banquet food. Then again, that wasn't the reason I came. read more

We had a good stay! Everyone was friendly and the hotel surpassed our expectations! We walls are thin and we could hear everything going on outside. Our window faced a parking lot and we heard everything. We were on the 6th floor. The room was very nice and clean though! The lobby was beautiful! Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was a little pricey. We'd come back again, for sure! We really enjoyed our staycation! One thing that I wish they did was that when we reserved the room, we let them know it was my birthday. When we checked in, I wish they wished me a happy birthday. I don't expect anything but the front desk wishing someone a happy birthday would be a nice cherry on top. But this wasn't an expectation so it didn't make my experience here any worse. It is a difference between a 4-star and a 5-star for me though in terms of customer service. read more

Hotel is clean and safe for kids but man is it LOUD to try to sleep. The pool is open well past 10pm (you can hear it from your room) and the walls are thin enough to hear your neighbors sneeze or worst... Hotel guests were up well past 1am making noise.... The room was pretty standard, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The location was amazing being next to the park, also the parking situation made the noise the night before much easier to deal with. ALL IN ALL, The hotel is very convenient but lacks some luxury if that is what you are after in your stay. I would stay again if I was at Knotts multiple days again. read more

My husband, daughters, and I spent the night at Knotts hotel 2 days before Thanksgiving. Parking was only $5, the rooms were neat and fairly clean (I always "extra" clean my hotel rooms before we unpack), pool and splash pad clean and well kept, and the ease of access to Knotts Berry Park were all great. Customer service was the BEST I've had in a long time at a hotel. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. Everything was absolutely yummy and the servers all were great. My only compliant is I didn't find out until after I bought items at the gift shop, that I could use my season pass to get discounts at the restaurant. No one told me in the restaurant, BUT I will be back. I absolutely recommend this hotel and all of its amenities 100%. read more

We had a FABULOUS experience at Knott's hotel! We included the Knott's Berry Farm tickets with our hotel stay which was perfect. The hotel was clean, recently updated and front lobby was super nice and helpful. The tickets allows you access in and out of the park on the same day so you can go as soon as they open and go back to the hotel for a break and stay there until they close. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the gym was great with a sauna room and we couldn't hear the neighbors. We will definitely stay here in the future if we're in the area! read more

Overall this was a nice hotel to stay at when planning to go to Knotts / soak city, which is across the street. It's pretty nice and worth the extra $100 than the motels across the street (which include free parking). Just know there is no microwave and the pool didn't feel that heated in June. Hot tub is warm. We booked this hotel in the beginning of June for a night. It was $225 on Expedia (was $250 on their website even with the season pass discount). It was June gloom so the pool wasn't crowded. (Knotts and soak city were crowded and people were complaining about how cold the waterpark was). There was a recent multi million dollar remodel so it seems to be better than before based on the reviews. Parking is $20 vs $30 at Knotts. You can come in early before reservation and skip Knotts parking. Ins and outs are allowed. There didn't seem to be a toll person at night time but they give you a receipt to put on your dash. Parking lot goes around the entire hotel and is pretty big. You can park wherever. We parked on the side by the pool because there's a side hotel entrance there closer to the elevator. (I just saw on the website Parking is included with Hotel Packages or when booking directly with the Season Pass rate so I guess website rate compares to Expedia when parking is included). Pool is very large. Did not feel heated. It said heated and 78 degrees on the website. Kids didn't mind. Goes from 3.5 ft to 5 feet. Splash pad works but you have to turn the wheels to turn it on. I heard the kids saying it was colder than the pool so I guess the pool is heated even though it didn't feel like it to me. Hot tub is large and was very warm. There are towels for use in the pool area but they are small and thin. There is no lifeguard at pool. It says no outside food or drink but they weren't strict at the pool which is nice. Thin walls in the hotel. You can hear kids in the am / guests in the next room. There's a Ballroom on the 3rd floor for celebrations. (The largest convention and meeting room space in the Buena Park area, including an 8,400 square-foot ballroom, a professional event planning staff and an onsite culinary team per the website). Remember you can use your Knotts pass Discount at diner and when booking the hotel (it was cheaper to book through Expedia than on the website with the code). The cheapest rooms on the website were for one queen which I assume most visitors to this hotel don't use. Beds pretty comfy and plenty of amount of pillows. Some outlets didn't work like some other reviews said. Good ac. Shower pressure not the best and I couldn't figure out how to plug the bathtub. Plenty of towels. Tv guide is odd (like every 20 channels). Wasn't an info button but there is a sleep timer. Front and side doors worked for us (read they were inoperative in another review). Bellman was super helpful for us and they were fine letting us unload at the front while checking in. Check in was quick and they let us have a pool pass early while waiting for our room. They texted us when our room was ready (2:30 vs 4pm check in). Check out is at noon. Staff and cleaning crew were all helpful and nice. No pets. Mini fridge - yes. Microwave- no!!! Main negative and this could be a deal breaker for some - no microwave. Anywhere!!! I even asked if I could bring something down so they could microwave it and they said they didn't have one. You don't have a $30 piece of equipment? How do staff heat their meals? I was flabbergasted when she said that and her response was "my pleasure" ha. Wtf? But just wanted to forewarn guests who need it for bottles etc. We bought Olive Garden take home pasta for $6 and I was hangry! Also a main negative for the restaurant (see my review for 30 acres) was no kids meals - at a kids hotel. Not sure why they wouldn't add that to the menu. (She said the kids mainly order baskets of fries, chicken fingers or a pizza). Oh yea, and the restaurant charged me $5 for tap water so get yours in a water bottle at the store next door! Sorry this was such a scatter brained post but hopefully it helps :) Oh and lastly the snoopy decor isn't there anymore that are in the photos in case kids were expecting it. The room was small, but clean. The decor seemed slightly dated. The air conditioner was very loud at times. The shower temperature varied from lukewarm to almost too hot. Large TV, no streaming and the on air guide was not usable. They were very slow making repairs to the phone and a chirping CO2 alarm. In-room Keurig machine did not work. The staff was very friendly, but the major draw for this location would be proximity to Knott's Berry Farm. read more

This is for the front desk. I wasn't an overnight guest, but a patron of the restaurant, Thirty Acres. I will write a separate review for the restaurant, which was also 5 stars. Anyway, I left my credit card behind on Thursday night, and didn't realize it until the following day. I called and my card was saved for me at the front desk. Tonight, a young lady with dark brown or black hair helped me. She was very kind and helpful with me. Her customer service skills were natural and a great fit for a place like Knott's. I appreciated her spunky and happy attitude. She clearly enjoys her job and I hope she gets recognized for her positive vibes. I will return to the restaurant and try the Starbucks in the lobby. read more

Easy access to the theme park which is just walking distance. Rooms are nice and clean, quite over priced however even for a basic double queen paid $300 for 1 night! Extremely small shower. Love their pool! Also have a fun area for the kiddos. Upon arrival front desk staff was a little rude. Made me feel like I wasn't good enough to be here?? Snooty is the word I'm looking for! Could have just been a bad day I'm sure they aren't ALL that way. All in all, I just think they should make the rooms more affordable. Oh and check-in isn't until 4pm! read more

The renovation of the hotel is fabulous! It was a modern, farmhouse vibe. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas during our December stay. The staff were super friendly and check in was quick. Nicely decorated in a farmhouse style. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. It was nice to have a place to take a well needed break after walking the park with my grandkids. We went back after with renewed energy and enthusiasm. The kids loved the pool and water features. The restaurant inside, Thirty Acres, was great and convenient. This modern upgraded location is perfect for the easiest route to Knotts Berry theme park, especially if you do not have a car to get you there. For us it was an average hotel but here are some pros and cons to decide if it's for you or not: Pro - Walking distance to park - literally 5 minutes. Perfect location! Modern style, farmhouse lobby - vibe in the front and the restaurant are gorgeous Front staff - respectful and gracious. Some of the best around! Cons - Misled size and style of room - don't get me wrong, it was clean, but majorly outdated. You think with the lobby redone that your room would be the same... it was not, at least not my room. It was quite small in comparison to others. Hard to find space for bags in room (family of 4) and bathroom. Please keep in mind. Front Staff at hotel restaurant - the waiters and waitresses at our table were amazing, but in all of times we had meals at the restaurant (breakfast was included so we weren't going to waste that), the staff would not stop talking to help us out and forgot about us. They ended up coming up with an excuse as to why they didn't write our names down... I've never seen this before. All in all, if you're looking for a quick hotel to get to Knotts, this is the place for you. It's a great location for this fact. I feel if you want more of a location to hang around, you might want to look elsewhere. read more

Held a company retreat/party at the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel and had a magical experience. Everyone in the Catering Department, Hotel and at the Park itself went above and beyond. The Knott's Berry Farm Hotel is a great and convenient way to stay while visiting the park. It's at the south end of the park and just a short stroll from the main entrance and exit gates. The hotel was under renovation, but it didn't alter the comfort and convenience of our stay. We opted for the Oversized Double Queen room. The room was large and included two queen beds and a sofa bed. It also included a wet bar, mini refrigerator, Keurig K cup coffeemaker, sitting area with coffee table and ottoman and numerous power outlets and USB charging ports. The only thing that was not available in the room was a microwave oven, but room service was available. A swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym and steam room was also available to guests I was impressed with how friendly the hotel staff was whenever we came into contact with them. We were always greeted and wished a great stay and visit to the park. Thanks to the staff for making our stay a great one! We are season pass holders and we'll definitely be back. *Tip: If you are a season pass holder and you book direct from the Knott's website you can get a discount on your room reservation. read more

It's a nice place. The location is super convenient. Especially after being in the park all day. You still have to pay for parking. Unfortunately no free breakfast on top of that. They also don't allow you to use your season pass for a discount if you purchase the rooms from a third party. I don't understand that. The hotel is still making a percentage off the purchase as well as the season pass. They also put a $100 hold on your card that can stay there for days. IMO, they need to restructure their approach on hospitality. They make a ton of money at the park. The hotel would be just as popular if they addressed those issues i've mentioned. read more
