Made a reservation online for this hotel. I contacted the hotel to get my reservation number and confirm. They stated they could not email me any confirmations. I then stated that I would be arriving late and I wanted a note put on my account so that my room would be available when I arrived. I was told because it was booked through a third party they could not modify the reservation. All I asked is for a note to be placed so my room that I paid for would not be sold. I did not ask for any modifications. If it is not possible to put a note on a computer, maybe a sticky note slapped to the computer could have been an option? I'm feeling extremely frustrated right now because I will be driving a long ways to get to this hotel, and most likely they will no longer have the room that I prepaid. I will most likely have to sleep in my car even though I spent north of $100 to stay at this hotel for 6 hours.
**Update***
Now the hotel has taken my money, cancelled my reservation, refused me a room, and refused me a refund. That doesn't seem fair. I have now been told if I had wanted to rebook I could have paid a second time for double the amount I originally paid to have that night (paying a total of 3 times the original amount to stay there).

They have now resold my room, I still will not be issued a refund, nor will I be given a room. The hotel has been unwilling to resolve the situation. I have entered a payment dispute with my bank. No goods or services have been given to me, yet they want to keep my money
I highly recommend that if you would not like this to happen to you that you find a different hotel to stay at. read more
