Easy check in and room has reasonable space. Bed firmness between the two queens in the room are soft and waaay softer... Pool currently closed for renovations. The sink inside the bathroom, and the one thing that was really hugely irritating was that bathroom light was a motion sensor. I mean, hugely irritating, enough that I'm going to put one star because of it. 15sec before it shuts the light off. When I'm in the shower, the light turns off. They need to move that to a regular switch...overall lighting setup in the room was strange. One light switch set didn't appear to do anything at all... Who did the wiring? Breakfast was okay, a small tray of eggs, sausage links and potatoes. Waffles (make your own) and bread and bagels available. Cereal, coffee, and some other drinks. Apples and bananas and some fruit cereal bars. I've had better breakfasts, but it did come free with the room. Watch the high curbs if your car doors are lower. Discount of 10% off the Texas Roadhouse next door for food. A Chick-fil-A next door, too (no discount there). read more

Excellent overall experience at this Hampton Inn. To start with it seems recently renovated. All areas, the lobby, the breakfast area, rooms and the workout room. Breakfast was wonderful! An assortment of breakfast choices, quiet rooms and hallways, and lastly but not least the friendly, helpful staff everyone was helpful but Louis in maintenance, Angie in housekeeping and the star player Krystal she is truly an experience she helped with everything from restaurant suggestions, our car trouble and even provided things to do for my children. Nice hotel but no fridge in rooms except for suites! I think this is the first hotel I've been to in years w no fridge and it's not cheap.

Great hotel if you are staying at Glen Mills! They are very clean and covid safe! Will stay again here. Location: the hotel is located in the heart of Glen Mills. Huge parking lot and amenities are great. Checkin Process: checkin process is so easy because due to covid it is online and your keys are on the app! How cool is that! Cleanliness: the rooms are clean and they even have signs that it was disinfected properly. Bathrooms are clean as well. Beds: comfortable and big. Smell fresh and new linens. Restaurants: just in front is Texas Roadhouse which I love! Will probably stay here if I am visiting Glen Mills again. Nice hotel and very clean. read more

For a reasonably priced hotel (meaning: not a fancy place), this hotel is surprisingly nice!!! First, they stock the check-in desk with cookies - a nice welcome home treat after a long day of travel. Second, the rooms are clean (super important), and the beds are comfortable. And, maybe I was lucky not to have noisy neighbors but the hotel was quiet. If I were to give the hotel one suggestion fir improvement - increase the size of the TV in the rooms. Mine was probably no bigger than 37". Prices on larger TV's are decent.... A bigger screen would it easier to watch television from bed. One other decent part of this hotel - the "gym". It's not bid but fairly well equipped. Dumbbells up to 50 lbs, a decent pulley set up, a couple treadmills a bike an an elliptical. And the gym was very clean. It's not going to replace your home gym or membership, but it pretty good to keep moving when on the road. read more

I am a very loyal Hilton member, our daughter is employed by Hilton... we are friends and family members and have driven cross country 9times snd up and down west coast a lot... we were also in the customer service/hospitality business for over 40 years and actually sent customers to this very establishment many times. I had a three night reservation when we chose to go back east to visit friends and family. Our plane had a flat tire (act of god) and I had to cancel ONE night... I spoke to numerous very nice front desk people but was never directed to a manager... then charged for three nights... not even offered any alternatives, maybe something off the night we weren't there for instance... just a sort of that's what I signed up for kind of thing... I am disputing the one night. It would be different if they had been busy, which they were not, and needed that room. Very disappointed in Hilton and especially so because we actually own 2 Hilton properties as well. Businesses today seem to forget... A CUSTOMER IS NOT AN INTERRUPTION OF YOUR WORK ...HE IS YOUR WORK... Missing management should have taken the time to work this out on site.... Lots of other newer and nicer places to stay in the area... that's what we will be doing and directing others to do the same. read more

The clerk at the reception desk in the night of 12/26/2022 was awful. He was rude and mean to the person who was checking in, while my husband and I came back from dinner. I waited to ask for complimentary water which, as Hilton honors members, we are entitled to. The angry clerk told us to get water out of the refrigerator and asked us what room we are in. I told him that we would like complimentary water from the gratuitous bags behind him. He said they are for Hilton honors members only. I told him we are both members. He then asked us if we were offered water when we checked in. We told him no. He looked up our account. Then he fake apologized and said we should have been offered water when we checked in and sarcastically gave me a bag of waters while failing to make eye contact. This is a mean man. Also, we did not receive took service. The bed was not made and the bathroom was not cleaned. read more

More fruit and less carbs would be a great adjustment to the breakfast menu, but they're trying to accommodate a broad range of customers, so I get it. read more

I stayed here while visiting family in the area in late June, 2021. Traveling from the West Coast, I was looking for something nearby (check), comfortable (check), affordable (it's a tad pricey, but worth it, all things considered) and with a great bed (oh yeah. Double check.). The staff here is really superb, with Ana, Casey and Scott at the front desk all extremely helpful, courteous and hard-working. I briefly lost my favorite COVID-19 mask while staying here, and both Casey and Ron at the Texas Roadhouse Steakhouse right down the steps (another nice perk) were extremely helpful. The housekeeping and sanitation practices here are top-notch. The local Glen Mills area is great, with all kinds of dining, shopping and supermarket options close by. I would stay here again in a heartbeat (and NOT ever stay in the nearby "Comfort" Inn again). In fact, I look forward to my next visit! read more

It would be a perfect stay if the mattresses were comfortable. Our room and common areas were very clean, the breakfast was very good, the attitude of the staff was nice and welcoming, the internet and appliances in the room worked great. The only issue we had was the mattresses that lead to the restless night and back stiffness, but I think it's not the issue that can be corrected by the hotel staff, so I didn't reflect it in my rating. read more

Terrible! Kids running the halls- cussing at patrons, weed smoke so thick it comes into your room under the door. Hotel staff is trying but there is only one person for the whole hotel on a Friday night. Not the staff's fault- it is a management/owner issue. Unacceptable issues. Great stay in a clean modern room. Wi-Fi signal was strong throughout the hotel plenty of ports to charge phones laptop etc. King size bed facing the windows which is the right way to arrange a room. Staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient. We felt welcome by the everyone from the front desk to the maids making up the rooms. Location was quiet not a lot of road noise interior was quiet too. Didn't get a chance to eat free breakfast but it looked good. Coffee available free all day in the lobby. read more

Standard continental breakfast but neither the eggs nor the sausage were good. mini fridge is small, I can't see the TV from my bed - actually the TV might be in the worst position that I have ever seen in a hotel. I stay at this hotel a 2-3 times a year for business. I especially like the fact that the rooms are very quiet. I've never heard street noise or any other noise from other guests, with the exception of a slamming door in regard to the rooms in my room's immediate vicinity. The indoor pool is well maintained and you should definitely take a swim suit and take advantage of it. The breakfasts are included in the room price and is buffet style. Nothing fancy, eggs, sausage or bacon, fruit, yogurt, bagels -- you can even make your own waffles with batter that you pour into a waffle iron. read more

Very nice, clean room, at a very fair price. The staff was pleasant and friendly. We were with a very large group and were permitted to use the very nice lobby/breakfast area with no questions asked. We brought in food from several take out resteraunts and were very comfortable We took advantage of the pool which was a nice size and very well maintained, while not being over chlorinated. The Hamptin breakfast has got to be the best complimentary breakfast in the industry. The only complaint I could find in our entire stay was that there was not a fridge in the room. I stayed here recently while working nearby. This Hampton is fairly new and close to a lot of chain restaurants, shopping, etc. Rooms are the standard Hampton, maybe a little roomier. They serve the standard free breakfast (which I don't ever partake of when I am in PA, because hello Wawa breakfast hoagies) and the breakfast area is nice and roomy. Indoor pool, gym, laundry, etc is all up to standard. Staff was very helpful and friendly and seemed to be efficient when checking guests in and out. This was my first time at a Hampton Inn and I can say that I will definitely check out this brand on my future business trips. The thing I appreciated the most about this hotel was the layout of the room. It was shaped like an L with the bed as far away from the door as possible. Until someone can invent a hotel room door that doesn't slam when it is closed, I want to stay in a room shaped like this. It was so wonderful to sleep through the night instead of being woken up every time someone else in the hall went out or came in. The gym was pretty good too - two treadmills an eliptical machine, free weights. I was able to get in several good workouts while I was there and I consider myself to be a committed gym rat. The breakfast was also good. It was the standard hotel breakfast fare, but everything was replenished frequently and seemed fresh. I also liked that they had skim mild and lots of fruit, yogurt, and cereal so I was able to eat my normal healthy breakfast. This hotel is located in an area with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby and there was ample parking. read more

Unfortunately, the location was having problems with creating room key. However, an email was sent to inform me prior to checking in to make me aware. In addition, the very warm and friendly staff more than made up for that slight inconvenience. I absolutely must compliment the manager Casey on her customer service, and going well above and beyond. During the night of my stay it snowed. When I went out early to clean the snow off of my pickup truck before my business meeting, Casey had already cleaned the snow off of it, and off of about 6 other vehicles. Solid 5 stars Stayed past weekend and everything went so smoothly. This 12 year old building is well maintained and inviting. I came with two cycling buddies and front desk Anna and GM Casey were quite accommodating to our needs allowing us to store our bikes, early check in and late check out. While the hot breakfast buffet (and pool) are not currently available due to Covid-19, the grab and go bags was a sufficient substitute. It's a nice clean hotel to stay at. No issues with my room. Their complimentary breakfast is on par with all the other HI's I've stayed at, but their bananas were pretty sorry looking during my stay. You can eat at the steak place which is a 2 minute walk away. When I left one morning, I noticed that one of the exterior windows had a hole, like it was caused by a pellet gun or a rock that was thrown by a weed wacker. Anyways, when I got back in that afternoon, the window was replaced. read more

I found Hampton Inn & Suites based on glowing reviews on TripAdvisor. This is a really nice, clean, well-run hotel with modern furnishings and a nice airy feel. It is a terrific place to stay for a reasonable price. The hotel cost includes a free breakfast including make-it-yourself waffles, egg and cheese omelettes (which look like they've been microwaved), cereal, and yogurt. The meal is decent but not spectacular. This is the perfect hotel if you just need a place to stay overnight while visiting Longwood Gardens. read more

I wish I had more to say about this hotel, but I simply do not. I was trying to find a hotel for my wedding and this was only an 11 minute ride away. I called two days in a row and was connected to the sales department voicemail both times. I stated my name, wedding date and both my work and cell phone number each day. Apparently no one working there felt the need to return my call on either day and have the business of myself and my wedding guests. Unfortunate... Stay away from this location - I had stayed here previously 6 times on business and was extremely disappointed with a recent experience. Management has a real attitude at this location. Convenient location with a Texas Roadhouse & Chik-Fil-A sharing the same parking lot, and a wide variety of restaurants/shopping nearby. My room faced the highway but the soundproofing worked well.
