This Spring Hill was recently built when we stayed. We were in the area to go to Longwood Gardens which was 30 minutes away so not too far. The hotel was new and updated and also had a ground level parking just in case of inclement weather. The lower rooms will start on the 2nd floor so keep that in mind. The rooms were nice and clean with newer fixtures on the room. They are also pet friendly, but you have to pay 35 dollars a night per pet. Two pets are allowed per room and you do have to leave your contact info at the front desk. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is served everyday on weekdays at 6:30 and 7 on weekends. Rooms do have stand up showers which saves space in the room. They have walk in closets in the room as well. Microwave and mini fridges are available for your convenience. Overall, this was a great hotel to stay for one night or for a couple of days so no complaints. I would definitely stay her again.

Depends on who stays here. If there is a sports tournament for kids, don't stay here unless you're one of the families on a team. All night long, kids were running through the lobby and down the hallways screaming. Long past 11pm. They made us sign a noise agreement when we checked in. Clearly with zero enforcement. (Seriously what can 2 desk clerks do versus a ton of kids with zero parental direction.) The floors were all wet from kids coming out of pool area dripping. The hotel lobby, in front of elevator etc. People were slipping. Breakfast on weekends begins at 7. We were waiting for the buffet to open. Watched the server put the food in. Got breakfast immediately and it was cold. Sausage, french toast..cold. While we ate, we had to keep swatting flies away. Room was clean. Rate was decent. Sleep was difficult. Very loud in halls and neighboring rooms. Based on this experience, will not stay here again unless we have to. Other area hotels that do not have wide open spaces, also have teams who stay there..but not the same issues.

In spite of it being a Saturday night with 2 weddings and a sweet 16 party being hosted, the hotel beautiful and staff were wonderful. The hotel has a 'Fridays' connected to it, accessible thru the lobby. That allows for many hors of service and drinks at the bar were almost half the price of what I usually see at a captive hotel bar. Breakfast in the atrium was excellent. The buffet had all the usual suspects. But, let me tell you, the omelette chef made me the best I have had in years! The suite was large, clean and modern. Plenty of room and although you could hear some of the din of the parties below in the living room; just down the hall past the bathroom, the bedroom was quiet. And there is a door there for privacy if needed. Exactly what I expect from the Hilton brand.

As you walk down the hallways of this hotel (second or third floor,) you hear the "hollow" sound and creek beneath you, making it seem like you're stomping. Then, you get to your room (in my case, the room was not locked - rather, the latch was keeping it, and every other door in the hallway, open.) At first glance, the room seems clean enough - until you see the rigged locking mechanism on the door, the fire alarm that may or may not work, the "surprises" in the fridge (likely spoiled milk and opened candy), and stains on the pillow cases and sheets. Then, it sets in how wrinkled the sheets/comforters are. Overall, the experience at this hotel was pretty lousy. I should have read reviews before booking, but I didn't. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that are similar in price, but will afford you a much better experience. Too bad, honestly, since Wyndham properties can be quite nice. Live and learn.

It was lovely and very clean and well-kept. The service was excellent and parking was easy. I really like the room for the few hours that we stayed there but breakfast was the highlight. We went down to breakfast and found all kinds of good hot food that we could choose from. The breakfast buffet line was socially distanced and the hotel was very careful throughout to keep people apart and safe. Make made pancakes for us using the pancake machine which we had not seen before. It was really fun and the restaurant was very very nice. Definitely a great place to stay.

The breakfast buffet was good, but at $22.95 is a bit expensive. They let you put your own cheese on the eggs which is fun. I've never seen that before. I like a lot of cheese and they never put enough cheese on but I did! Because I like cheese. One of the elevators was down, but you can easily use another one in a different place to get to your room, no problem. Parking is $10/night which is annoying, make sure to pick up your permit at the front desk. There's a huge, spacious lot, there's no reason to charge $10/night to park. If parking were free, this would be five stars since everything else was wonderful. But it's not so it's four stars. Still good.

The service is awesome, there's zero "nickel and diming," and we even received a lovely welcome basket. Truly a seamless experience. Unfortunately, the Hilton Christiana was a massive disappointment. We've stayed here for years, but under GM Brad Wenger, the culture has shifted toward extreme nickel-and-diming. Despite being Diamond members on a paid stay, we were charged an early arrival fee (for getting there just 30 minutes early) and a parking fee. To make matters worse, we gave up our confirmed Executive Queen room to get in early, and the room they gave us was subpar: right next to a noisy elevator, a broken shower, and no tissues. It's clear management is prioritizing fees over loyalty. Save your money and stick with the Tru.
