People at the front desk were very rude. After I got in my room I could hear them yelling at other people who came in after me

Clean and serviceable. King studio was a decent sized room and breakfast offerings weren't bad. Would book again.

Besides the wheelchair fitting through the door, a low peep hole in the door and a shower stool in…read morethe bathroom, nothing else seems to be ADA compliant, not that the hotel said said it was. There is a bathtub, not a roll in shower. Well, the tub does have rails, so one could conceivably pull themselves into the tub and flop on the floor. How to get out, though? The sink is a standard adult height countertop with custom 2x4 woodworking. It also has mold between the counter and sink, a nice plus. The tub sealant is also moldy. Even standing, my wife could only see the top of her head in the bathroom mirror. The bed is also standard height. Not a problem for her, but hell for someone that can't stand. So basically, a person in a wheelchair can get in the room and look into the hallway. It is amazing how much you learn when put into the world of folks with handicaps. On top of all this, the TV system in the whole hotel was out. No aplogies given. Milk at breakfast smelled sour.

I call them con artists because they concocted a scheme to make me pay for my animals twice. I reserved a room and paid a one time fee for my two dogs. However, I needed the room again so the next morning I went to pay for the room again. They checked me out at 9:28. Then later that day, my hotel door is being banged on my hotel staff demanding I pay another pet fee for my second day. Corporate policy says if you stay multiple days it's only a one time pet fee to pay. Pet fee is 25 a dog. I have two dogs so 50 bucks. I ended up paying 100 for my dogs for two days. Instead of being charged with the same stay, same room, same pet fee, they checked me out on purpose to sustain another pet fee. I will be contacting corporate and issuing very damaging facts to get my money back. Avoid at all costs. They're INDIAN FRAUDSTERS LIKE THE SOMALIS IN MINNEAPOLIS

I recently stayed at this IHG owned hotel while my father was in the hospital. I checked in around…read more5-6am after not getting any sleep for 3 days due to the fact that I had been sitting with my dad and I'm a light sleeper. So, I decided that in order to get some sleep I needed to go check-in to a nearby hotel, Candlewood Suites being the closest since I was walking from the hospital. For some reason, the guy who checked me in required assistance from someone on the phone several times and it took a while to get a room. After getting the receipt, I noticed the rate for one day was higher than I was quoted, I asked about it and the guy said that's what it is. I just wanted to get some sleep, so I signed it, got my room key card and headed towards my room. I stopped in the little store area to see what kind of soft drinks were available, almost nothing that I liked was available, most of the drinks were of the "diet" flavor, which to me is absolutely disgusting. I asked the guy at the front desk if there were any non-"diet" drinks, he said that's all they had. Oh well, I guess I will just drink water then, so I continued to go back to my room. Upon entering the room, I turned the light on by the door and it's flickering due to a bulb going out, not a big deal but a little annoying. As I got settled into bed, the air conditioner came on and it made some high pitched squeaking sounds. I called up to the front desk and the guy who checked me in said that he couldn't do anything tonight and I would have to wait until the morning. (Why didn't he just give me another room?) The next day I get up and go to the hospital to see my dad, when I came back later that evening, the light and the AC unit hadn't been fixed. At this point, I'm getting sorta frustrated by the lack of care or concern for my situation. I also noticed other issues like the TV remote wasn't working after hitting the power button a number of times and the TV stand was broken, which caused the TV to tilt forward. (Super easy to fix the TV stand with some strong glue, but I don't think they care.) After the next night, I picked up the manager's card at the front desk on my way out to get some breakfast and go see my dad at the hospital. On the way up there, I called the manager (Erick), he said he would go to my room and get everything fixed, but when he called back, he said the light, AC and TV were working fine. He did say he was going to fix the extra charge for the room, since I was quoted a different rate, but when I said that I might stay a few more nights, he said that the rate would be higher. I told Erick that the flickering light and AC were not "fine", I know that the AC normally doesn't make those high pitched squeaking sounds and there is no way the light flickering is acceptable. He seemed like he was more concerned about having to fix the light and stuff than making sure the guest has a comfortable stay at the hotel. Additionally, Erick was very condescending when it came to the TV issues, saying he would leave the TV on, so he can "prove" to me that the TV worked fine, saying he would leave two remotes. All I really cared about was the light and the AC issues, but I kept finding other problems when they didn't fix these things the first time I called. Once I got back to the hotel later on the second day, I get back to my room and turn on the light, it seems whoever "fixed" the light put a different type of bulb into the fixture resulting in one warm light bulb and one cool light bulb. They also didn't put the diffuser cover back on, so the difference was much more noticeable. They left the cover and tools on top of the kitchen cabinets. Then I went to check the AC unit, but instead of fixing it, they just turned the thermostat temperature up, so the AC would come on less? I turned down the temperature and the AC comes on with the same squeaking noise, at this point I'm beyond frustrated. Why didn't Erick call back to tell me the AC wasn't fixed? Why didn't he call back to suggest moving to another room? He mentioned it earlier but said he would try to "fix" things first. He did not "fix" anything but the TV, which I promptly turned off since I don't really watch TV and wanted to get some sleep. I turned off the mismatched light and hopped into bed, and something I didn't notice before was the light outside my room window by the pool is also flickering. (I wonder if they just switched the bulbs with the one in my room?)

We stay at Choice Hotels everywhere we travel so we can safely say this is the most disgusting one…read morewe've ever stayed in. The bathroom floor was filthy. The tub had mold around the caulking. The toilet was gross. There was a little poop on it when we entered. The phone didn't work. The outlets needed for the blow dryer didn't work. The mini fridge was dirty. The TV was leaning against the back of the TV cabinet which made it so the screen couldn't be seen from either the couch or the bed. The couch was sticky. The desk legs weren't secure so it wobbled when anything was put on it. There was a coffee maker by the outlet that didn't work but no coffee. The A/C sounded like a coffee grinder. The bed was so broken down the one of us slept at a slant toward the edge. The pillow was really thick on one end and really skinny on the other. The outside grounds were grossly overgrown with weeds and very high grass. The parking lot was hard to get in with deep ruts and dangerous to get out of with a high lip to cross over into highway traffic. The trash can by one of the outside doors was overflowing and smelled horrible. We could go on but you get the idea. We'll never stay at this Rodeway Inn or recommend it to anyone. We ended up packing up our things and leaving about midnight because we couldn't sleep with the uncomfortable bed and the noise of the A/C

Got housekeeping 5 out of 8 days. When I complained I was told how busy the housekeeper was, how many things he had to do, etc. etc. After a 16 hour workday I was not interested. Free breakfast. I never saw any food any morning. Furniture was pretty beat. I mean really beat up. Towels and sheets? Stained. Threadbare. Unmatched. But wait, there is more. Pool was always closed yet three nights when I came in from work, there were people in the pool. Maybe owners' family? Who knew? A dump-and really I thought I'd never find a Rodeway Inn that was nearly as bad as the one in Lawton Oklahoma, but this was a great case of "hold my beer". Next year I'll find another place to stay. I would never stay here again.
