I received a one-night free stay voucher for the trouble I went through (not having a toilet and being unable to move rooms). There were some communication issues, but the assistant manager worked to resolve it for me and followed up. I appreciated the gesture of good will and will try it again sometime. read more

Very disappointed today when we found they did not clean our room. We checked in for two nights and were not told that we needed to request a room clean nor was it posted anyway in the room or our paperwork. They did bring us more towels upon request but if the policy is that a room clean must be requested- it's something your guests should be made aware of ahead of time. This is not to mention being woke up at 1 am and 7 am by other guests screaming. Thin walls. read more

Clean, comfortable room with a kitchen. Rooms need some updating. Super convenient for dog owners and a pet friendly hotel, with a large grass area in back of the hotel. Safe neighborhood to walk in. The parking lot is well lit and safe. There are restaurants just a few feet from the entrance of the hotel (Darcey's Irish Pub, Panera, Qdoba). Free breakfast and of course cookies at check-in. Great location. The rooms are 'ok' but definitely need some updating. The walls in our room have dirt and an unknown substance sprinkled around. The bathroom is dilapidated as the faucets are loose, the toilet seat moves and there are chunks of the walls missing. Nikki from the Denver Tech center in Colorado, was very rude to a veteran that was in the lobby. He served during combat missions, and was awaiting his house contract in the area. It's been freezing and snowing outside. Nikki threatened him by saying he could call corporate but nothing would happen to her. This all started because his ID was in the room and his key had been deactivated. He'd been there already for for 5 days. Pitiful! Of all things, he's a veteran. She had no remorse in kicking him out of the hotel. I'm a Diamond status customer and i will never return there. ​ She stated she was the GM. The veteran was trying to deescalate the situation but she was rude and kept saying she was the GM and nothing would happen. I'm clearly disgusted. read more

Room reasonably clean; got a "suite" even though I didn't need a kitchen. But there were maintenance issues: TV in main room did not work, and WiFi was incompatible with my computer; couldn't see it, much less log in. Shower door was missing; they'd thrown up a temporary shower bar with a curtain, leaving sharp edges on the floor where you had to be careful not to cut up your feet. Breakfast not as sumptuous as Best Western but not bad. Property was undergoing renovations and so it was awkward to get in and out. There was one big annoyance, however, that really burned me up: a surprise charge for parking! How do they expect you to arrive: by boat? Parking lot was not anywhere near full, so it's not as if there was a shortage. Not used to having Hilton nickel-and-dime me (of the big chains, it's Marriott that's heretofore been the king of "junk fees"), but apparently this property does. Overall, I'm giving this place a "meh." Fix the TV, the shower, and the Wi-Fi, and stop charging extra for what obviously should be included, and I will raise my rating. read more

In my personal opinion I love this location I've also had two family members with me here on one separate trip and now on my current one. Everyone compliments their hospitality, and amenities. I love Their extensive breakfast it's not just complimentary, it's hot and complimentary!! (Hope that made sense lol) Great property, great location, super safe (which I always consider) and also clean. Oops let me add I have a pet and it's very pet friendly with a nice park in the back. This should be a 5. We came in on a Friday (this piece of information is crucial). The hotel was really clean, really quiet and in a great location close to the bus, restaurants and shops. The staff was ALWAYS friendly and helpful. The room and the amenities were awesome. We were really happy, especially for what we paid for it. Until Monday. It seemed that after the weekend rush, the place got a bit sloppier. We had to ask for more tissue. The water dispenser poured out coffee. The syrup lost its top. There were only two types of tea... I guess it's understandable that weekends are much busier than weekdays, but the service should be the same, regardless of what days you visit. But still, I would stay there again. read more

Recently I became a Hilton Honors Member and have been traveling more and enjoying different Hilton brand hotels. I checked in late and was greeted warmly by Shawn. He was very nice and upgraded me to a suite for my stay which I found impressive! The next day I had an online seminar and the touchpad on my laptop malfunctioned. I called the front desk in a panic and Lee went out of her way to find a mouse for me to use in time for my seminar. The next day. I said good morning to the housekeeping staff and asked for a few things which I received promptly. My room was very clean and had a safety seal. I can't say thank you enough for making my stay away from home anymore safe, comfortable and welcoming! I'm wishing you all safety and blessings during these times. read more

Not big, long. The elevators are at the far right wing and not the middle of the building. -AC unit vent and the shower head desperately needed to be cleaned -I realize this is Denver, but my floor reeked of weed in the afternoon and even moreso in the evening. I am a Hilton loyalist since I travel often, but I'll be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn next time. read more

Great place to stay and it is now my go to Hilton property anytime I am needing a safe place to stay and still be close to the office. Julia and Anissa were so kind and welcoming. I stayed during the recent 2019 blizzard and they let me check in early. Coffee and tea are available all day. For dinner that night, there were lots of us perusing their snack selections. I ended up with a cup of soup, which was more than I was expecting. I do adore Hilton properties and all are not created equal. This is a newer location, with fast elevators and great service. The hot breakfast the next morning is appreciated. I was pleased that there are healthy choices as well, oatmeal and fruit, and the usual decadent choices if that is more your thing. I liked booking on the app and having the digital key, the rooms are quiet and the wi-fi is pretty decent. I will stay here again. read more

My visit here was proceeding a conference in Colorado Springs. I was arriving late in Denver so I wanted a hotel that wouldn't be a long drive from the airport and would put me south of Denver for the drive the next morning. The Hilton Honors non-refundable rate was around $100 so I snagged this hotel. I arrived late and was tired. As others have mentioned, the parking lot was completely full so I parked in front of the Panera despite signs warning against that. Check-in was smooth. My room was far from the desk and even farther from my car. I eventually found a closer entrance but I would have appreciated that being pointed out by the agent at the desk. Breakfast was good. Pretty standard for a Hampton Inn. My room felt small but I didn't mind that too much. The proximity of bars and restaurants was great (though I didn't get to take advantage). read more

Very pleasantly surprised! Free parking, beautiful lobby area, food options within walking distance (Panera, Which Wich, Qdoba), got a room that included full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove top for cooking along with pots, pans, plates, mugs. I wasn't expecting something this nice. Floor smells a little like pot, but the room has good ventilation and air. Passed the bed bug check too. Happy camper! Plumbing is quite loud from neighbors, but it doesn't bother me too much. read more

If your T&E budget needs you to stretch your dollars, this hotel will meet that litmus test and expectations. Granted it's not the Hyatt around the corner with it's full service bar, room service and the like. But if a clean room, great customer service, convenient DTC location and a great price - this property should be at the top of your list. As previous poster commented, the rooms are clean and comfortable -- and I agree, spend a little more for a suite, the difference is worth it (you get a kitchenette, living room and in some -- a fireplace!). Add in the fact your stay includes free wireless internet, a hot breakfast and a weekday evening reception (beer, wine and snacks) and your expense report will look great. The staff is friendly - and well trained. You will like the neighborhood... Panera Bread is steps away (beware of the dueling wireless internet access between the hotel and Panera), across Ulster Street is Baker Street Pub & Grill (a must for your late night urge for cocktails and people meeting). A longer walk or short drive includes a number of great places to eat, drink and entertain. Heads up -- if the hotel is not full and your room is on the third floor and a "far" walk from the lobby, you'll have to run the shower for a few minutes to get the hot water running. Not the best for the environment, but hey when it's -11 outside at 7AM a cold shower wasn't in the cards for me. read more

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel but all of that was tarnished by being harassed with daily calls from Hilton Grand Vacations. Apparently putting my phone number on the reservation gave them permission to sell my personal information to aggressive telemarketers. I will never stay at another Hilton location. If you are going to book here, list 407-393-1683 as your phone number so they will just be calling themselves instead of harassing you daily. read more

Stayed here for one night this weekend as a staycation. We were able to book a room through Expedia for ~$65 and it was definitely worth it. The hotel is in an ideal location and is in the same parking lot as food and pub options. The hotel decor is very modern and updated. We had a room on the first floor that looked in to a garden. Everything was clean and well maintained. We were able to use the pool and hot tub and got some much needed sun. Breakfast in the morning was fully stocked and offered plenty of choices. We definitely won't hesitate to return or recommend this location. read more

I know that it's not the hotel's fault that people ignore their policies and smoke pot inside the hotel. And the hotel assures us, they DO charge fines for people who smoke in their rooms. So, maybe one day, the constant smell of pot in the hallways that's often pulled into your room when you turn on the bathroom fan will go away. Aside from that, this place was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was pretty decent (except I wasn't a fan of the coffee). We loved that our room (which was a suite) had a fridge, microwave, sink, and dishwasher. This enabled us to eat some leftovers from a couple of restaurants...something we often don't do when traveling. The price was pretty decent. We'd consider this place again, despite the pot tourists. read more

I've stayed in better Hampton Inns. It smells like cigarettes everywhere even though it is non smoking. The employee at the front desk was awful. We walked in to check in, he looked up at us, didn't smile or greet, and ignored us till we were practically in his face. He was super unprofessional and seemed very annoyed about everything..while we were signing the receipt, he had another guest ask a question about the pool. She walked off and he angrily shook his head and swore...practically in earshot of her, and right in front of us and another guest. Not digging this hampton like others. The rooms are ok, but they look a bit outdated. The price here was nice, but the parking is crazy full, and the breakfast area was gross and very messy. Edit: went down to 1 star because they have NO PARKING for how big they are. One attendant told us to park on a curb, the next said park in the adjoining business lot even though she said not too because wed get towed there. read more

Because of a water issue at our near-by condominium, my husband and I decided to spend the night at the Hampton Inn & Suites on S. Ulster Street in Denver. We brought our dog, Charley, with us and were pleased that our request for a first-floor room with him could be accommodated. The front desk staff is kind and efficient. The lobby looks fine. That's about it for the good stuff. I always bring Lysol wipes with me when we travel, knowing that things like light switches, door handles and TV remotes are almost never cleaned in hotels. I expect to do that myself. I expect, however, that bathrooms will be immaculate. Ours was not. In fact, this morning I noticed what I thought was rust (room 125) on the toilet paper holder and decided to see if it would come off with Lysol. It came off and it was not rust (use your imagination). It was one of the most disgusting sites I have seen in a hotel. Then I noticed the lighting in the bathroom was much dimmer than the outside lighting, and with good reason. The floors and walls are also filthy. We can only imagine what else is lurking in the carpets and other areas that we couldn't see! Obviously, we will not be returning to this hotel, nor will we recommend it to visiting business associates, friends and relatives (we have, many times in the past). If I were the General Manager of this hotel and for who knows what reason was not on top of my cleaning staff enough to know that my rooms were in this condition, I would appreciate a guest telling me. I'm sorry to have to leave a poor review. The Tech Center is a great area and deserves better. read more

Huge Fan of the HIlton Family properties. The staff here is wonderful. the rooms are comfortable. They do not have double rooms, if you need 2 beds in your room, but I was immediately offered an upgrade to a suite for an additional $20 which offered a separate bedroom and a pullout couch in the living area. Full kitchen. Great Price. The second floor gym is a great workout space which overlooks the lobby area. Great use of space. Complimentary breakfast every morning starting at 6a. This is a great buy! If you have family coming in town - this is a great location and a great price. The proximity to restaurants, bars and I-25 is money. read more

This property claims to be smoke-free however they allow guests to smoke (and have all-night parties) in their rooms. I am not a smoker nor do I like the smell of smoke. The room adjoining mine had what seemed to be a smoking party. I reported the problem throughout the night but I was explained that there was nothing hotel staff could do as it was not illegal to smoke. people were coming and going from the room all night long, and could hear arguing and fighting, and the combined issue made me question the hotel's security. Things started off well here until i sat in the room and started looking around. The lamp shades have hair all over them. The fan blades could use a major dusting. Lighting in the bathroom could be updated and the fan on there needs to be fixed since it sounds like the motor is about to take off. You can hear everything all around sonve the walls are paper thin. read more

"Pleasant Overnight Stay" Stayed here for one night, as I was mountain biking in the area and hotel was conveniently located for our needs. The hotel and the rooms were clean, professional and friendly staff. There is a Panera Bread right next to hotel so you can conveniently walk just a few steps to it. Several other restaurants nearby as well. Hotel breakfast, which is my favorite, was amazing as I expect of the Hampton Inn's. Highly recommend this hotel. read more

A very well located hotel in the Denver Tech Center with easy access to I-25. The rooms are clean and the service is good. The only problem is there is quite a bit of noise between rooms, both side-to-side and up-and-down. To at least limit some of the noise request a third floor room. read more

The staff was exceptionally helpful and interested in providing a comfortable stay for us. Eating in the area was limited. Driving out of the area to restaurants would have been better. Watch for hidden/added charges!!! They quote 1 thing and charge for another. I got double charged (240×2), was charged for things no one knows what its for. Was told there is a $50 PET DEPOSIT that would be returned at time of checkout. Looked on my statement and was charged a $75 PET FEE!!! Kids are free but my dog isn't? I understand if there is damage to the room. But that was not the case. My room key wouldn't work, had to go to the front dest twice to resolve. I couldn't connect to wifi thru their site. Manager is rude. Will never ever be back. BEWARE!!! read more

I was so happy with my experience here. The cleaning crew did such an exceptional job with my room. There was one blonde younger woman at the front desk who was incredibly helpful and was able to get me an extra day when they were sold out. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was good.
