We had only a one night stay in the Ritz-Carlton Denver but had no complaints with our stay. The check in process was went smoothly and even though we arrived before check in, we were able to get in our room and were even upgraded to a suite due to our Marriott status. There is also champagne in the lobby in the afternoon even though we were not able to catch it in time for this trip. We had a suite on the 5th floor that was spacious with a living room/sitting area, large bathroom with Diptyque toiletries, and a separate area for closets. The bed was plush and the sheets were crisp and cool. I appreciated that all windows had blackout curtains however, the closet light did not turn off so it was a little bright throughout the night. I would love to come back and spend more time at this property and even dine at Elway located in the lobby.

I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Denver and had a priceless family heirloom necklace stolen from my room. Housekeeping entered multiple times while I was out, and when I reported the theft, the hotel deflected all responsibility. I was directed to their third-party claims department, who quickly closed the case without any real investigation. When I asked for further information, they told me nothing would be shared unless I obtained a subpoena. This level of indifference and lack of transparency is shocking--especially from a hotel that markets itself as a luxury property. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no real effort to help. I expected safety and professionalism; instead, I got stonewalling and dismissal. I will never stay here again, and I urge others to think twice before trusting this hotel with anything of value.

One of my children went to a party for UC Anschutz and I stopped in as well. Ritz Carltons are always top notch and this is no different. The layout is great Service is what you would expect. When my out of town friends come to visit I would most def recommend.

Welcome to The Ritz-Carlton, Denver: Luxury Meets Mile-High Charm. As Denver's first and longest-running AAA Five-Diamond hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Denver sets the standard for luxury accommodation. They've taken the concept of pampering to new heights, offering spacious rooms, stunning suites, and even a dedicated Club Level for extra exclusivity. But luxury isn't just about amenities - it's about feeling welcome. The Ritz-Carlton, Denver is proud to be a pet-friendly hotel & ensured our dog Forbes enjoyed the stay as much as we did. We were transported into a world of refined comfort when we stepped into The Ritz-Carlton, Denver's elegant lobby. The staff's warm welcome and genuine hospitality set the tone for the entire stay; they offered us a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival. Kyle at the front desk was polished and professional; he greeted us by name each time we passed through the lobby. This attention to customer detail was fantastic and made us feel special. We stayed in the expansive Presidential Suite - this is one of the nicest suites we've stayed in, in Denver. It was furnished and decorated beautifully - modern yet grand. The Presidential Suite was 2605 sqft with 1 Bedroom, 1 King bed, 1 Sofa bed, a living room/sitting area, a workout space, a dining/kitchen area, & a separate dining room. The Bedroom boasted stunning city views and a plush king-sized bed that was so comfortable. We slept like babies every night. The marble bathroom with a deep soaking tub and large rain shower was the perfect spot to unwind. The Ritz had a dog bed and bowls waiting in the room for Forbes. In the kitchen area - The Ritz provided us with the sweetest welcome that included champagne & snacks. We had access to The Club Level where four culinary presentations were offered throughout the day (breakfast, midday snack, hors d'oeuvres, & dessert), a comfortable lounge setting, Denver views, and personalized concierge service. We got breakfast at The Club Level every morning. They had a Continental Breakfast buffet that included eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, juices, coffee & more. Location is everything and stepping outside The Ritz-Carlton, Denver we were in the heart of the city's action. We were within walking distance of the vibrant energy of Larimer Square, Dairy Block, & McGregor Square. After a morning of exploration, we retreated to the award-winning Ritz-Carlton Spa. This urban oasis offered a haven of relaxation with treatments designed to melt away stress. Katherine at the front desk was sweet and knowledgeable. They had a full menu of spa services, plus a relaxation lounge, steam rooms, and whirlpools. We enjoyed a Couple's Massage with Lindsey & Beth. Both of them were fantastic masseuses with calming demeanors & skilled hands. I had a Stress Relief Massage designed to revive fatigued muscles with moderate to firm pressure. Ross had a Deep Muscle Massage. These were some of the best massages we've ever had. We left the spa feeling revitalized and relaxed. No stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver would be complete without a visit to the famed ELWAY'S Downtown. Recently renovated and better than ever, ELWAY'S offered a delectable menu complemented by an extensive wine list. A fabulous stay and we will be back!

Very old school classic vibe, with a trendy lobby scent. The Ritz is understated with its low-key decor, but who needs that, cuz when you know, you KNOW. Prepare to SPEND staying here, as the name tag comes at a premium. That being said, I would not stay again because there are other fabulous places to stay in Denver with a little bit more of a playful vibe. Side note: Our last night staying there, some very loud guests checked in next to us on the 14th floor, and they sounded like they were banging around and moving furniture and screaming down the hallway. We didn't complain because we're just not those kind of people, but it was interesting.

The location really can't be beat. You're right in the heart of LoDo. Coors Field is a few blocks from the hotel and Union Station (which connects directly to Denver Airport) is only about a 5 minute walk away. Tons of restaurants, bars, and things to do are all within walking distance, which makes it extremely convenient. When booking, I asked for a high floor, quiet room so I could work. Upon check-in, they honored that request and also upgraded my room from a Journeyman to an Innovator Suite which I greatly appreciated. That upgrade definitely elevated the stay! The Innovator Suite was fantastic. It had two queen beds, two TVs, a full sofa, wet bar, dining table, flexible workspace, and city views overlooking Denver's LoDo District. The bathroom had a large soaking tub, which I had to take advantage off. There's no balcony and while the wet bar includes a small fridge, it's not really functional for anything beyond drinks as there's no space for leftovers or larger items. You also get a token per night to redeem for a free drink at the bar during happy hour, plus free drip coffee in the mornings. Other perks include free churros during social hour, a courtesy car service within a 2 mile radius, and discounts at various shops. There's also a fitness center, although I didn't use it. There were some things missing though: no pool, no spa, housekeeping is by request only, and no breakfast included. Service throughout was excellent. There's 24 hour front desk service and everyone I interacted with was cheerful, helpful, and kind. Overall, a strong stay with great service, a fantastic room upgrade, and an excellent location, even if a few expected amenities were missing for the price. If I had to come back to Denver and the company was covering the bill, I would stay again. The location really can't be beat. If I were coming for a leisure trip with a similar budget, I'd probably look for a hotel with a pool and spa instead. This hotel is best suited for people who want to experience LoDo nightlife, catch a game, or just be right in the middle of everything downtown. The room I was upgraded to was probably much more expensive than what I actually paid, which definitely improved the experience. I'm not sure I would feel the same way if I had stayed in the original room I booked. 4.5 stars rounded down.

The hotel is within walking distance (about 10-15 minutes) of most downtown attractions, including bars, restaurants, and Coors Field. Anything farther was just a short car ride away. The rooms were spacious and well- designed, contemporary but still comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was large. We also checked out the gym during our stay, which was bigger than expected and had a good mix of cardio machines and free weights. Breakfast is served daily, it's supposed to be until 10, I would leave to drop my son off and be back at 0945 and daily they would be cleaning out the food options. The first 5 days the cereal was Cheerios and labeled gluten free, the other container had lucky charms and was labeled as Chex gluten free. Thank goodness my child knew that it was lucky charms and indeed gluten. The internet was spotty, I was working from the premises the entire time and often had to use my own hotspot. The washing machine for guest use requires quarters, which you have to buy from the front desk with cash. Two times the washer broke during use and I had to bag soaking wet clothes to hand over to maintenance to take to be washed. There is only one washer and dryer. Very disappointing for a long length of stay. Also in the age of technology there are several hotels that laundry is managed with an app, allowing me to pay via app and see how much long is left and if the machines are available. There is a lack of trash receptacles in the hotel. There are none on each floor by the elevator. Myself as well as others on our floor would leave a bag of trash outside of our room daily as we don't want our room to smell like the food we ate all day/night. On our first full day here we took it down to look for a trash can and the one outside the front doors where people unload their vehicle was overflowing, we noted this multiple days of our stay. Housekeeping were friendly in the halls, they service rooms once every 3 days. Since I was working in the room and I kept the room clean we used the sign on the door to opt to have them come when we were ready. If I saw them in the halls it was easy to get trash bags, towels and cups. One day we requested service and sat in the lobby working all day and they never came by. Keep in mind it's a refresh, our bed was already made and we keep our room clean, I just wanted a tidy of the bathroom counter, towels etc. I had to reach out to the front desk to ask around 415 for service but it needed to be quick because we were coming back to the room. They were able to oblige and serviced it quickly. The refrigerators are very small and not cold, perhaps an option in some rooms for people with lengthier stays to have a larger refrigerator and freezer options. We couldn't purchase any frozen items for our lengthy stay with only a small fridge. The location is nice, easy to get to anywhere on campus or to the downtown area, performing arts area etc. several Ubers are often in the area for further driving needs. Over all of we came to Denver for a long stay I might consider staying here but would look at options with better amenities for food and wash. For a short stay it would meet my needs.

That was great and I highly recommend the prickly pear soda. They are walkable to a lot of restaurants and the opera house, and also offer car service within 2 miles. Very handy. But that's where the good ends for me. Our room was tucked up behind the elevators among a bunch of weird little stairs, like the most unimpressive Escher painting. It was very dark with only 2 lamps and 2 bedside lights. We could have opened the wall of windows, but because the doors and windows were not properly sealed, the only way to keep the freezing cold air rushing in was to keep the blackout curtains closed. The heat worked well, but cycled frequently and was very loud. The intake is next to the bed, so it disrupted our sleep. The fitness center was sad. There was one treadmill, one bike, one elliptical, and one weight bench, which is fine, but only 5-12 lb and 25-50lb weights (nothing between). Also, it was 82 degrees and there is no cold water available. It does not appear to have been swept or vacuumed in weeks. I used one of 2 beat up mats and from the ground could really see the filth. At check in, we were given a wooden nickel ($10 credit) for each night and told we could use it in the hotel restaurant, The Nickel. They only offer breakfast in Saturday and Sunday, so we went our 2nd day. I got the shakshuka, and when it arrived there were 2 poached eggs on top, not cooked in the sauce. NBD until I took a bite and all the sauce was room temp, as though it has just come out of a jar. There were areas slightly above room temperature, like it had been under a heat lamp. Wildly disappointing. My BF thought his avocado toast was pretty basic for the price. We tried to spend our last wooden nickel that night, getting a drink there, and were told it was only good in the other lounge area, which is odd since we both heard them tell us the nickel was for the Nickel. We ended up paying $42 for 2 small apps (a single croquette and 3 tiny gourges) and a glass of wine. I wouldn't have gotten anything but we wanted to burn the credit and BF wanted a snack with his wine. So we paid full price. Overall, very expensive for what it was. This is a 3-star hotel on it's best day, and someone needs to investigate the kitchen. We also feel deceived about the daily credit.
