Being a Hilton member we always try to find one of their properties on our road trips. This one is great for that quick overnight. Right off I 95 and easy in and out. Several local restaurants within a few minutes drive and fast food nearby. Staff here are wonderful. I booked this a few hours before arrival and git a nice text welcoming us and asking if we needed anything ! Water and snacks were offered at arrival. Super clean. Comfy room. Quiet. Breakfast included has a nice variety and they also have pre-made grab and go bags at the desk! Will keep this on our list of favorites for future trips this way! read more

This is a clean hotel that offers a good night's sleep in Bordentown. The staff are nice and recognize Hilton status, which is good if you want to check-in earlier than regular time. The rooms are nice with clean sheets, clean towels and premium television stations to catch up on movies, tv shows or anything else you missed. There are nice tubs as well to take a hot bath after a long day. I have no complaints about this hotel. If you are hungry or want a snack, there is a truck stop across the street that is open 24 hours a day and provides an array of food and beverages. We were back in Jersey for a visit and ended our trip with a day down the shore but wanted someplace close to Philly, for our flight back, with no rush. I had remembered this place from my work days traveling around the state and think I recall when it was new. The rates are reasonable and it is frequented by a lot of military because of its proximity to Fort Dix and McGuire AFB. It is also directly off of the NJ Turnpike and Route 295. The staff was nice and helpful, especially the front desk (very tolerant of a difficult guest in front of us), The room was sparse and could use some updating but was very clean; so much so I gave them an extra star. The breakfast was serviceable though not on par with other Hampton Inns or HIE. Overall, a good value for the money, especially for just an overnight stay. read more

The hotel was a good find on the way to NY and had to get a good nights sleep couldn't drive any further. Staff was nice and the hotel was clean. However, the walls are sooo thin you can hear every conversation in the next room. Unfortunately the conversations were intimate and the screaming was so loud we could not sleep. I had to turn up my TV to drown this out. I'm glad we had no kids with. us. read more

One of the few Hamptons that has seriously disappointed in both cleanliness and customer service. If we had not got in at such a late hour and needed 2 rooms, we would have looked for lodgings elsewhere. -I Booked 2 rooms on a single credit card--was told that note had been made on my account to assign two rooms together. Not done. We didn't even get rooms on the same floor!?! -One of the two rooms was filthy. See photos. Visible dirt around edge of floor and pink slime on shower head. - Cleaners had sprayed Febreze so heavy in one of rooms that it took my breathe away when I first walked in. Clearly trying to cover up some smell. My head began aching within 5 minutes. Irritated son's eyes terribly. (See photo) I asked about another room but was told nothing could be done. Front Desk's bright idea: "leave the hotel room door open to let it air out." -Hand-towel has a huge hole in it and was dirty. -Only semi-positive was Breakfast. Fine for a free meal but serving room and eating area was tiny. Get there early. The cleanliness and customer service issues are completely unacceptable for an almost $200 room. In bordentown there is not much as far as good selection all hotels are still using the excuse of covid for not providing breakfast other restaurants and other towns are providing like Maple shade and Mount Laurel but in bordentown you have better luck finding a goose that lays the golden egg. The same excuse when other hotels are managing to offer you at least a continental breakfast choose Danish coffee tea that's very simple and very safe Hampton inn bordentown did provide a continental breakfast which was sufficient and pleasant I enjoyed my time there it's the little things that count and the excuses that give me doubt. I applaud the Hampton inn for going the extra mile to provide something other than an excuse the rooms are comfortable and clean the staff was friendly even though they seemed understaffed but then again which hotel isn't nowadays cutting corners I understand but it's simple basic breakfast and the excuse of covid is really getting over you everywhere congratulations to those hotels that are not wearing that excuse as a badge to save and cut back while their prices are higher on a higher than make up for their loss. I've been here before for my daughters birthday, we had a small party at the pool and in the suite, I had no complaints. This time my experience was different, I'm unsure whether it's due to the current corona situation that we're in but it just wasn't what we expected at all. We asked about the breakfast ahead of time at check-in and we were told that it wasn't the normal hot breakfast, just bags at the front desk with water, nutrigrain bar and a muffin. Okay, that was a bummer but it was whatever. The ice bucket was very dirty, I cleaned it myself. The Volume on the TV in our room didn't work at all, my girlfriend wasn't too happy about that. The floor in our room hadn't been vacuumed. I had asked several times for more soap to be brought to our room, when we came back to our room at night after leaving all day, there had been no visit from housekeeping at all. Once again, we had to call for more soap and fresh towels and wash cloths. I never have bad experiences at the Hampton Inn, this time was unfortunate, but I didn't want to nag or over and over. I am absolutely in LOVE with this hotel! I wanted to convey my sincerest gratitude to these amazing ladies..Shalona and Jamie! I am a frequent guest at the Hampton Inn in Bordentown. I had been on my 3rd day of my trip to NJ and the night before I was supposed to leave, I had some cardiac issues arise. First thing the next morning, I went to see my doctor. After seeing the doctor, I had some cardiac testing done right after the appointment. I was in a mad rush to get to the airport and found I missed my flight. The first thing I did was contact the manager, Shalona, telling her what happened. She hurried and found a room in an already booked hotel. When I came in, I was greeted with the sweetest note from Shalona saying "Welcome Back Christy ". That made me start to tear up. Then when I explained to Jamie what happened, she escorted me to my room to make sure ai was okay. When I opened the door, there was a sweet treat bag sitting in my room from the staff. I literally felt the tears fall down my face as this was these few acts of kindness were more special to me than a million dollars! The owner, Mr B, said it best to me the last time I was there. He said, "You are Family!" It is the truth..I do feel like family to these beautiful ladies! Everyone that walks in there is treated like they are special. I can't tell you how much it meant for Jamie to check in on me (at my request, of course)! I wasn't feeling well, stressed out and worried and she made me feel better knowing someone was looking out for me when I am so far from my actual home. I encourage everyone to come stay at this amazing hotel! After staying here the first time...I will NEVER stay anywhere else when I am in town. These wonderful ladies, along with the owners, Mr B and Sean,know how to make everyone they come in contact with to feel like this is their "home away from home". Going to a town I've never heard of and unfamiliar with the area, I was just hoping the bed linens would be clean and fresh and the in-room carpeting in good shape. The day before our arrival I had called the hotel directly to upgrade our room. There was confusion on the part of the front desk staff concerning the date of our reserved arrival. Upon our arrival, there was a bit of concern on my part, as I had prepaid for the stay, yet a credit card was requested again for payment. With the payment straightened out (my card was not run through again) I was now leery of how I would find our room. Diane, GSA at the front desk, went above and beyond to accommodate my late request, on a Holiday weekend, for a room upgrade. We were pleasantly surprised upon entering the queen suite. It was well laid out, having a separate bedroom, 2 TV's, work desk, and table for dining. A compact refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker with coffee packets, both decaf and regular, are standard in every room. The beds were the best part. Clean, fresh, and yes, comfy, cozy! On each headboard was a declaration that all bed items were freshly laundered for each guest, so we didn't have to discard the bedspread to the floor because someone else before us had used the same one. Very Nice. Breakfast consisted of a Waffle Station, pot of Oatmeal, scrambled eggs or omelet, ham, sausage, potatoes, mini muffins, fruit such as melon,berries,bananas and apples. An assortment of breads for toasting, cereal,yogurt and all the condiments, including whipped cream for the waffles. And the best hot coffee, with regular and flavored creams. Staff, from check-in, to breakfast, to housekeeping, were friendly. Palermo's provided the most extensive menu for delivery. The food was great, reasonably priced, and the driver friendly. Great pizza, great tomato pie!! So great hotel choice that I will pick again next time I am in the area. I have been staying here a week so far and I have to say that every employee here has been extremely attentive and engaging! They genuinely seem happy all of the time and will ensure your stay is the best it can be. Also, when I found my refrigerator wasn't working at 10:00pm, I told the front desk. The hotel room was tidy and comfortable. The rate was reasonable. This is pretty much all we ask for when staying in a hotel when traveling. I have two complaints: 1) The rooms have a chemical smell. Our first room was so bad we had to switch rooms. The manager was very nice about it and said it was probably the Fabreeze they use in the rooms. It's much too much and was intolerable. 2) The door to the room was ill-fitting. The gap between the door and the doorframe was so wide that I could pull a bath towel through it at night to block the light. Without the towel it was it hard to sleep at night due to the amount of light that came in the door. read more

beware!!! stay at this hotel many times. the hotel does not have proper security in place they have cameras, but if cameras are not in view noone checks that. i was there and someone was knocking on my doors in the am hour. noone would tell me what was going on. i was told by manager someone came into the hotel a non-guest and she felt uneasy with the person and she went into back office. did not make sure person had left the building and the person came up to my room and was bangging on my door, police were called and they informed me that the camera facing my room was turned and they were unable to see who it was. one who checks cameras to make sure that hotel guest are safe. 2. as the front desk manager you would feel unsafe with someone and not call police.3 you would allow a non-guest to enter the elevator and go upstairs were you guest were. who knows what was about to happen or who really was involved please beware for your safety at this hotel. just pass by the hampton inn 206 bordentown. read more

It home away from home. We love Hampton inn. Lovely place so clean and the staff is so friendly. As soon as we checked in first thing my son and me did was hit the pool. We love the pool. The room was so clean and the taking shower felt good. In the morning to wake up my 10 yr old son I have to just say "wake up otherwise the breakfast will finish" and he is out of his bed. He love the hot waffles that I make for him. The breakfast is so good and fresh. I love the hot on tray they have. Every du different selection. Over all service, breakfast, rooms and the place its self is 5 star. They make u feel as if u are at ur house. We always stay at Hampton inn and we will keep on doing it and I personally recommend it to all. When we leave my son gets sad as he loves to stay here. read more

Been here for 2 1/2 weeks service is ok. Cleaning ladies are super loud! I work nights and they act like nobody's around. Even called the front desk guess it pissed them off so they got louder. Breakfast sux's too. "Continental my ass" ! Options are limited, food is the same , breakfast starts at 6 and it really does. Nothing is ready so you gotta hover the small breakfast area to wait for food. Don't know how they got so many stars? Must be from paid people. LOVE LOVE LOVE this location! They take great care of you, and could not be more accomodating. They are convienently located near my fav place- Cracker Barrel, as well as a great fleamarket/Amish bbq place, farmers market, and tons of stores. Also near Chik-fil-a,Walmart, Dublin Square, Ruby Tuesday, DQ... LOVE it here!! They also have FREEEE breakfast every morning and it is delicious! Best coffee.You can even make your own fresh waffles. We come here alot to escape and its worth it every time. read more

Pleasant stay and was everything expected as written in the previous posts. My kids and I used the pool but found it to be the most chlorinated pool I've ever swam in. Couldn't use for more than twenty minutes before needing to leave. We all took a shower and still smelled of chlorine later that night. I would hope the manager would switch to a salt water pool or at a minimum to rectify this bad situation. read more

Stood from a Saturday till Tuesday for new year's weekend. Hotel is very clean. Good breakfast and the meat choice different every morning. Although we didn't get room service on a Sunday after being out all day the front desk claim we had the DNE sign hanging. We left the room at 12 and took it down. We came here to visit my husband stationed at Ft. Dix, NJ and visit NY as well as Hersheypark, PA. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. When I checked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Our room was very clean and our beds were comfortable. Their decor was modern. They offered many amenities, as well as a variety of delicious continental breakfast. Coffee was delicious! Since it was memorial weekend, there were a lot of people in line for breakfast, food was running out and it was almost time for breakfast to be over, the manager was excellent! He came out and ensured his staff brought in more food and allowed people to use conference room to eat. They were so hospitable. Even better, their price was affordable. We will definitely come back given the chance to travel in the area. My family and I had an amazing time here and I'm quite sure they contributed to part of it. Thank you Hampton Inn!!! read more

Had not originally booked with Hampton Inn Bordentown, but another place. That reservation was horribly mismanaged and the other place had no interest in helping rectify the situation. We got on the phone and the front desk person Michele said "We've got you. Come on over right now." We had a lovely suite for the evening, but wanted a two day stay. Though the hotel was sold out for the next day, overnight the team managed to come up with an acceptable room for our family of 4. Instead of checking out in the morning and scrambling for accommodations later, we moved into a smaller room across the hall and had comfy beds and warm staff to look forward to after a long day at the amusement park. The sheets are silky, the rooms clean and bright, the pillows fluffy and the breakfast extensive and wonderful. It's not fancy or super posh, but it was exactly what we needed, at a price that was surprisingly budget-friendly. read more
