Worst hotel ever!!! after 45 minutes of trying to call and talk to the front desk. I've tried every number on the goddamn darn phone and hit zero and it keeps sending me to an automated reservations line. Come on are you serious... What are you doing in case of an emergency if the loved one is missing or hurt and you can't contact them and their cell phone is off. Last time I stayed there there was a girl at the front counter that was in the dining area reading a book away from the phone that says a lot. Staff is sloppy there is no maintenance technician available so if you'd like to be treated like dog Doodoo, this is a place for you. read more

This was a great place to stay. The hotel staff were extremely friendly & our room was spacious & nice. It had both a microwave & refrigerator. I'm not sure why a few folks rated this hotel lower, unless they were expecting elegance. We travel frequently up north & will definitely stay again. We have 2 dogs & I am always so grateful for a pet friendly hotel that I do not mind paying extra. I suspect the extra fee is to cover additional cleaning services. Dogs are emotional support for most dog owners & it's not difficult to get paperwork showing so. I don't think this should grant you the right to bypass an extra fee charged for all pets. The hotel was about $100/night (plus pet fee). It was a great place, especially for the price. We will be back for sure. Located in a very quiet area of town. read more

Booked this as an over night travel stay. I would not stay here again, someone clearly used the room before us and they did not clean the room properly. After a 14-day stay, I can say what a great location . Everyone was kind and helpful. Some even made me feel part of the family. The breakfast staff made food at home and shared it with me. Only have two complaints. I reported ants in my first room three times. The third time staff was shocked as nothing was documented about it even after showing pictures. The night auditor moved me right away. The second issue was the pool was dirty and cloudy. I would pull hair and trash out of it. When I commented on it, I was told this was normal, yet the whirlpool was crystal clear?!? Also, I have stayed at other Hampton Inns, and the pools never looked like this. Overall, I think this is great hotel and will gladly recommend it. read more

Buyer, beware! On a long cross country trip, as we arrived in Utah we decided we would make it as far as Brigham city. We looked at the reviews for the Hampton Inn in Brigham city, and they were good. We called the only number that we could find for them online. I specifically hit zero to get the front desk That was supposedly routed to a reservation desk. We told the representative that there were two of us, and we had an emotional support animal, a small Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with all the proper credentials. The representative said it was not a problem, they were a pet friendly establishment, and there was no additional charge for ESA at this specific hotel. She told us that our booking was non-refundable. I asked her if there was going to be any surprises when we arrived at the motel. She said, "What do you mean?" I said, "I don't want any surprises as in additional charges or told that my dog would not be allowed to stay." She said, "No worries." When we arrived and checked in, it was late evening. The receptionist told us that if our dog stayed with us, we were going to be charged an additional $50 for our emotional support animal. It was 20° outside and he's an inside dog. She said ESA's do not qualify for no charge. (Mind you we have been to three other hotels on this journey that none of them charged us for our ESA and we had not requested "no charge" when we pre-called to confirm a room, that was freely offered.) So despite the fact that we had an agreed-upon price and a confirmation number with a verbal confirmation that we would not be charged for our ESA, she insisted on charging us an additional $50 which seems exorbitant. What were we supposed to do at this point? We couldn't cancel the room without paying full price for the room. This feels like extortion because we're stuck paying whether we stay or not. it was late, we were tired... you get the picture I'm sure. In the morning I told the morning crew rep, that was not a fair deal. She said that their representatives at the booking number were not properly trained on their policies. I told them that wasn't my problem, that was theirs and I shouldn't have to pay for their dysfunctional system. She said she could not refund the additional $50. We continued on our journey and have made it "our policy" never to stay at a Hilton establishment again. read more

Sleep Tight Goldilocks your pillows are perfect. Having neck arthritis I'm fussy about my pillows. Hampton Inn had a wonderfully soft, neck perfect selection. Room was very clean and tidy however their soap practically dissolved with one shower. Ice machine was out of order so a bit of an inconvenience. Breakfast supplies were diminished with almost absent bread selections. Labels on muffins would be helpful. Not too bad but not up to the Hilton standards. I know they can do better. read more

Needed to get away to write a paper for school, and we - and my in-laws - have always had great experiences here. Send husband here every once in a while when he needs a full night's sleep with no dogs. :) Friendly staff, quiet, accommodating. Room was large, clean and able to spread out all of the research I needed for the paper. Reason for 4 star instead of 5? The hotel does not have a restaurant, which is fine, but I had to heat my dinner in a shared microwave behind the reception desk. Not cool for a couple of reasons: 1) had to hang out in the lobby doing nothing waiting on food, and 2) kind of germaphobic. In a town with early closing hours and limited food options, a microwave and fridge in each room should be a standard. Either way, will always recommend because of pleasant and helpful staff. read more

I am a Retired Firefighter and my wife and I drive through the Brigham area at least a couple of time Every Year. This time we had our two teenage Grandchildren. Last Week,We picked this Hampton Inn because of the reviews. Well, I made a mistake booking this time. The room was nice and the staff was friendly but when we turned on the air conditioner the noise it made so loud! I recorded the sound with my iPhone and the person at the desks shocked. I was told that there were no other rooms available but that she would leave a message for the staff to review and that they would probably give me a partial refund. After a long night without much sleep, I was tired all day and hade to drive about 9 - 10 hours! I could barely stay awake! I can fall asleep just about anywhere but the noise was too LOUD! I checked out and to another worker about the noise and again I was told that they would probably refund part of what I had paid! I worked over 30 yrs giving the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I could!!! The first thing I noticed after checking in was that I'd accidentally booked the wrong room type but the front desk was extremely helpful in moving us right away even though it was absolutely my mistake. Our new room was very nice minus the mattresses being on the hard side, and after my typical check-in cleanliness poking around I was very satisfied. The only thing I noticed not being spotless was some streaky toddler handprints on the window, which doesn't bother me at all and wasn't worth mentioning. I did think it was a little odd that the room has no closed drawers to store your things, but there was a closet to put things out of sight if you prefer. All of the furnishings and carpet looked new and well kept both inside the rooms I saw and in the lobby/dining areas. It was a very nice property and located within walking distance of a few places to eat. The breakfast offered at the hotel itself wasn't bad either and I really enjoyed our stay there. If you need to stay in the area I highly recommend this hotel. It is much nicer than your typical interstate adjacent options! read more

I appreciated everything about this hotel, from the nicely appointed room to the friendly and helpful staff. My room had two queens with bright white patterned bedcovers. There was a desk, and the Internet connection was fast with no interruptions. The bathroom was spotless. On both Saturday and Sunday, the desk clerk answered questions about places to go and/or let me hang out in their eating area (after I checked out) to finish up my online work. read more

This may be one of the nicest Hamptons I've stayed in. It appears to be very new, and the rooms were beautiful, with nice modern touches that I haven't seen at other Hamptons. For example, they have a nice little nightlight in the bathroom with a sliding door, some cool built-ins with USB ports everywhere, etc. The place was clean, check-in was easy, and the room was comfortable. Great staff...Couple of improvements Hampton Inns usually have a great staff, and this was no exception. Friendly, attentive and helpful all around. I was very confused by the lack of a microwave in my room. It makes no sense since they sell microwave popcorn and TV dinners in our the lobby shop. Supposedly there is one behind reception but I never saw one. At least maybe put it in the common area. Also, the bed is pretty uncomfortable and the pillows are flat and lacking any real support. Lastly, there really ought to be some signage noting where to park. I nearly got towed for parking in the city hall lot next door. read more

Seth, the general manager, is the reason why I'm giving this place 5 stars. I would give t 10 if I could. We were in town on a business trip and we are looking at building a couple of hotels in Utah. I took his business card and the moment we are done building, we are offering him higher pay to come work with us. He was extremely kind and helpful. We had very loud people in the room directly above us that kept us awake the whole night. Seth went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. So not only are we coming back because of him, we are actually going to most probably steal him as a general manager :) thank you Seth for an amazing experience. Very clean, comfortable beds, great air conditioning and helpful customer service. The hotel is in a nice, quiet area. The pool and hot tub looked great, but we arrived late and were too tired to utilize them on this visit. My only complaint is that there is no air vent in the bathroom, so it gets hot and the mirror fogs up when you shower. read more

Horrible experience. Pool was disgusting, green and smelled really bad. On the 2nd day they actually closed it and drained it. The whole reason we picked this location was for the pool. Asked for a king bed, was given 2 twins. Neighbors above we're extremely loud, called to complain and was told they would move us instead of telling them to quit. So because they were unruly, the hotel would rather make us move than deal with it. Actually charged us for calling the front desk. Not impressed at all with this place. read more

The manager (Juan) is all about their bottom line. He wanted to charge a fee for early check in (1:30pm instead of 3pm). I've never heard of this. NO customer service & very rude. Juan was only worried about making his money, not our situation or making things right. We had booked our rooms an hour before to make a stop during our long road trip. Once we arrived, we realized EVERYTHING was closed! Juan did not care, said we could not cancel, needed to pay full price and he needed to keep his revenue up. We had two young children, couldn't check in without paying extra, and there was nothing to do around town!! We were shocked at the lack of customer service. I don't usually leave review, but this was unacceptable and left a very bad taste in my mouth. Juan chose to be more worried about booking his rooms than what was right. First off I tried to call beforehand to ask for a rollaway bed... after being on hold for over 10 mins I was told my room couldn't have a rollaway bc of a fire hazard. Trying to use my iPhone.....constantly interrupted (after logging in) to log in again. Never had this happen at any other Hampton. Very, very intrusive. My overall experience here has been VERY taxing. I have not enjoyed the noise level from all the kids and banging on the floors. I'll be leaving in the morning......probably very exhausted. Hotel is not ADA compliant, was questioned about medical condition ( illegal) and refused to let me stay with my service animal or face a $150charge PER NIGHT (also illegal) The staff was clearly uncomfortable upon my entry as a black person, they hostilely asked me to leave before asking if I was going to stay. read more

We were looking for a Covid-safe hotel outside of the urban area of Ogden. While the location makes for a pleasant walk around the neighborhoods of Bingham City, and provides easy access to two grocery stores and a Starbucks, the hotel is not Covid safe. Our room had not been cleaned. I could run my finger through the dust on the television. The bathroom door doesn't lock. It's on a slider with no bottom railing. The carpet is nasty. I could hear the conversations of the people in the room next to us. The windows of the hotel are dirty. No one wore masks. No one took any Covid precautions. I was put on hold for 45 minutes with Hilton staff just to register a complaint. read more

Before reviewing the high quality experience we had at this very comfortable hotel I have to make the obvious well obvious. Hampton Inn in Brigham City has to be the most safe hotel I've ever stayed at - since it is directly across from the local police station! It does however have a very awkward entryway, turn too quickly and you are in the police station. We chose this place as it was both our starting and ending point for our trip to Yellowstone National Park. For our first stop we were given a cozy and comfortable room on the first floor designed for handicap individuals. This took some getting used to as the water from the shower just went where it wanted. On the way back we were given an equally cozy and comfortable room on the second floor which included the coin operated laundry machines. In both cases the room was both a nice stay to and coming back from Yellowstone. read more

Cleaning crew went into our room before we checked out on 6/28. That is unacceptable and intrusion of privacy. We thought it was a great idea when they make us make reservation for using the pool/spa during the whole covid-19. After about 15 mins of using the pool, they let 2 families in which is not ok for a small enclosed indoor hotel pool. What is the point of reservation? Trying to appear safe instead of actually being safe. Breakfast was to go style, which is fine for the current situation. However, they reduced to only pastries/water. As other hotels during our trip has shown, I am sure there are other ways to provide adequate breakfast in a safe manner. If you can provide breakfast to go, why can't you provide something a bit better to go? Room was spacious and quiet. However, at this price, you can find equivalent with better service. read more
