What are you doing in case of an emergency if the loved one is missing or hurt and you can't contact them and their cell phone is off. Last time I stayed there there was a girl at the front counter that was in the dining area reading a book away from the phone that says a lot. Staff is sloppy there is no maintenance technician available so if you'd like to be treated like dog Doodoo, this is a place for you.

I'm not sure why a few folks rated this hotel lower, unless they were expecting elegance. We travel frequently up north & will definitely stay again. We have 2 dogs & I am always so grateful for a pet friendly hotel that I do not mind paying extra. I suspect the extra fee is to cover additional cleaning services. Dogs are emotional support for most dog owners & it's not difficult to get paperwork showing so. I don't think this should grant you the right to bypass an extra fee charged for all pets. The hotel was about $100/night (plus pet fee). It was a great place, especially for the price. We will be back for sure. Located in a very quiet area of town.

The heater in the room worked very well, but the water heater apparently did not, leading to uncomfortable showers. The TV was great and the bed was OK - large, old, and firm. If you're just looking for a place to crash for the night, the Days Inn in Brigham City, UT will work.

Posting because management did not respond. Dear Days Inn…read moreManagement, I recently stayed at your hotel for two nights with my grandson, and overall we had a delightful experience. I wanted to take a moment to thank your staff and also share one concern from our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff members were consistently friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning. Those aspects of our stay made for a very pleasant visit. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the condition of the swimming pool. Each time we looked at it, the pool appeared quite dirty, with a tremendous amount of sand settled on the bottom. Because the temperatures were over 100 degrees, my grandson and I decided that a little sand wouldn't hurt us, and we went in the pool anyway. The water temperature was wonderful, and we were initially glad we had decided to use the pool. However, within about a minute we noticed a large number of swimming insects in the water. We tried to ignore them and make the best of our vacation, but then one of the insects bit or stung my grandson. He described it as feeling like a bee sting. Afterward, I searched online for the insects we had seen, as I wanted to make sure the bite was not dangerous, and they appeared to be backswimmers. I learned that back swimmers are attracted to algae and can in fact bite. I understand that it isn't possible to keep an outdoor pool perfectly free of every bit of debris or every insect. However, the condition of your pool seemed excessively dirty and poorly maintained. Because we no longer felt comfortable using it, we ended up going to the Brigham City public pool instead. While we enjoyed that facility, it was much less convenient because it closed at 6:00 p.m. One of the reasons we chose your Days Inn was specifically because it offered both a continental breakfast and a pool that we could enjoy during the evenings. One other observation I thought might be helpful is that during our entire three-day, two-night stay, we never saw anyone else using the pool. It made me wonder if other guests had also decided against swimming after seeing its condition. We did bring this to the attention of management, by a phone call from our room and we were told the pool is cleaned daily. But the conversation had me question that. I was told, "The pool is cleaned daily, they were even here on Tuesday" This was Friday evening and if the pool was actually cleaned daily, why mention that it was cleaned Tuesday? I hope you'll accept this feedback in the spirit in which it is intended. I wanted to write you instead of posting a not so good review on the internet. We truly enjoyed many aspects of our stay, and I hope the pool maintenance can be improved so future guests can fully enjoy all of the amenities your hotel offers. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely,
