We were on a family road trip and arrived at around 11 pm, we only stopped here to rest for 5 hours before back to MKE. We make a quick check-in, just want to take a rest. The location is good, and the room is clean, but the AC is very annoying at night, I am very light sleep person, it buzz me a lot. The toilet flush is SUPER loud! I don't mind if it's just my family still awake, but when it's midnight, everyone is tired. It feels like I'm announcing to the whole room that I'm using the bathroom. read more

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I rarely post negative reviews, but this stay warrants one because the issues were not isolated; they reflected a pattern of poor maintenance and lack of ownership oversight. First, I want to recognize the employees. The front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were consistently friendly and tried their best. Unfortunately, the property itself is not being maintained. During my stay, I was moved from one room to a another, and then another, and then a fourth, because every room had a significant problem. One had a non-working refrigerator. One had an air conditioner locked at 67 degrees with no ability to adjust. Another had damaged curtains. Another had no internet service. I was also placed in a room with no hot water, and one room's door slammed so violently it shook the room every time. On top of that, an Amazon package I had delivered went missing. I tried to be patient and cooperative, but after multiple room changes, I expected a more appropriate resolution, especially given my Diamond status. Instead, my concerns were not fully addressed, and the 10,000 points offered did not reflect the extent of the inconvenience. Several staff members suggested that they had requested maintenance and renovations repeatedly, but the necessary work has not been completed. Whether due to budget decisions or other reasons, the result is a property that falls short of the standards I expect from Hampton Inn. This was genuinely disappointing, because I have always had confidence in the brand. I hope ownership invests in this property. It was an OK stay. Frony desk staff were pleasant and friendly and offered me waters since I'm a hilton honors member but i had to ask for my complimentary snack. The shade in the room did not roll up and the heating/air did not work properly. Location was great, as it was just off the interstate but the property is outdated. We couldnt get the remote fir the TV to work and when we inquired about it we were told to point it at the microwave as that is where the controls were located. Who knew??? Breakfast was not what expected either from a hampton. Not a lot of choices but thet did have plenty of hot coffee and thats primarily what i needed. All in all an ok stay but i would tecommed going down the road a bit in lieu of this location. read more

The room smells like dirty socks. The TV is not a smart a TV so we can't use our streaming services as we expected. And then the only way to operate the TV is by squatting down in front of it to point the remote at the Direct TV box which is mounted behind a counter. We had staff try to assist and they basically showed us how to squat to get the remote to work. Also there odd almost no lighting in the room. Bad experience. read more

Never accept being given room 127. It is within 30 feet of the breakfast kitchen. It shares walls with the mechanical room and the stairs. It is with 5 feet of the first floor exit door and the ice machine. I don't know what goes on in the mechanical room but there were crashing metal sounds randomly throughout the night. Miserable. So far so good. Apparently this is a new hotel. Really nice exterior and interior. I have the king room. It's really clean. Bathroom is really clean. Very modern style. There is a microwave and mini fridge. Everything is updated. I will update this over the course of my stay. By Friday, it will be finalized. They have free breakfast in the morning. Hot food, fruit, yogurt, cereal, bagels, etc. They have water, hot tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, apple juice, and cranberry juice. Parking is around the hotel for free. The hotel is maybe 3-5 mins away from food & Walmart. Their hotel address needs to be updated on the Hilton app. It took me to the wrong place. But, I called the hotel and they gave me the directions. I have the room for less than $100/night. read more

Work brought me to the Forsyth area and so I chose to book a room with a recognized brand and chose this Hampton Inn. The building appears to be new and is kept in great condition. The lobby, elevator and hall ways are clean, stylish and brightly lit. I was thankful to have been able to check in early and did so using my Hilton App (if you don't have the app-you're doing it wrong!) opened my 4th room at the end of the hallway floor with my digital key. The King room was decorated nicely, had a modern fresh look and was clean and neat. The only issue was with the AC, it cooled fine but I like to keep the fan running to circulate air and to block out noise from the hallway and outside. This property is just off I75 so you'll hear plenty of traffic noise-this really was my only complaint as it made it difficult to fall asleep since I couldn't run the fan in the AC. I'd probably stay here again as there are not many good options in the area and the Hampton appears to be the newest property. Easy access to I75 and several food options close by, I recommend the El Dorado and the Waffle House just across the interstate. Thanks Hampton, quality stay. read more

I would not only stay here again; I would recommend it for others as well. I am accustomed to residing at the Holiday Inn Express when I'm in town. There's good (read: free) breakfast and the staff are polite. Unfortunately for them, Hampton Inn Forsyth is on the scene and it's playing for keeps. Getting into my room* was a breeze; checking in for two separate parties took less than ten minutes from start to finish**; soft cookies (peanut butter, chocolate chip, ​and oatmeal-raisin) were available; and, the room itself was pristine. I checked out the breakfast and certainly found it to be just as good as what the Holiday Inn Express offered. Oh yeah, my cell service (AT&T) is great in my room. I'd forgotten to turn on WiFi but didn't notice due to the rapid speed from my phone. This wasn't happening at the Holiday Inn Express. Maybe it's the building? In short, both places are good options. I can't definitively say which one would work best as the people doing the training at GPSTC might find the Holiday Inn Express to be a better option as it is slightly closer (it's also closer to Walmart). However, the Hampton Inn Forsyth is closer to Tifts College and Ingles. I'd actually managed to forget something of value in my room. The lovely ladies at the hotel secured it for me after I brought it to their attention. I am very thankful for their efforts as I didn't want to deal with the hassle of replacing it. I wish there was a formal lost-and-found in place but for now, this will do. *my door was difficult to open for some reason. I actually had to throw a little shoulder into it; not at all normal. **It would've been faster if my colleague had remembered her ID- no fault of the employees, though. read more

I too couldn't find this place if my life depended on it. I actually had thought based on gps that there was another Hampton Inn down the road. The night desk clerk confirmed that we were at the right location. It's brand spanking new, and by that I mean everything is clean and new. Decor is bright modern from earthy brown and gray tones to pops of color in room. Beds and comfy yet firm. Everyone in my family had a good night's sleep! Will update on breakfast options. TL:DR clean, new hotel with friendly staff. I could not find any cons. Staying in Forsyth for the night or few days, then this Hampton's is ideal Update: Breakfast was great. Why? This is an acceptable Hampton Inn.. We paid for a double queen and when we arrived there was only a handicapped room. The sliding barn door to the bathroom was so heavy that my kids and I could barely open it. The soap dish was broken, sharp, and jagged. Along with the tub that was super slippery for myself and my kids, I was on high alert to ensure my kids didn't cut themselves. There were hairs all over the bathroom and when I wiped the water from the floor after my kids shower, the towel was black! The front desk is rude and will over charge the guest! We stayed on May 1st with a pet. The Hilton reservation center informed us there was a $50 pet fee, but when we checked out there was $100 pet fee. The front desk then informed me I would have to speak with the manager. I called Hilton reservation center and opened up a case. It went nowhere. I called hotel and spoke with desk manager Shawanda, she told me the fee is none refundable, so I wasn't getting money back on my over charge. Do not stay a this hotel. Worst Hampton Inn we've ever stayed in and we've stayed at many. List of issues at this location: Only one room key due to key shortage, we were changed to 3 different rooms upon checking in because a lot of rooms were only half cleaned at 5:30pm on Monday night and apparently housekeeping didn't let front desk know this. The lobby pantry was 80% unstocked, no wash clothes in room, no toilet paper, no mention of any COVID and hand sanitizer stations were empty. The elevator advertisement stickers on the doors were ripped and looked old, Ice machine had a very bad smell in it. Hate to write a review like this but this Hampton does not meet the high standards of other Hamptons. Needs some serious help. read more

Would not recommend staying here again. I stayed with 3 of my coworkers. Two of us had hair in our shower. I had trash in the bathroom left over. I don't think the bathroom was swept at all. My coworker found dirt in the bed and a COCKROACH on the floor. A USED soap bar was placed back into the box for her to open. Staff offered to comp her only $80 and points. Unacceptable. The State Dept of Health was contacted by us. Cleaning staff needs extra training especially during this pandemic. read more

The rooms were clean however, please beware of getting in the tub. Please check and wipe throughly before stepping inside. I did not check and went to try to get in the shower around 2 something in the morning I fell head first into the tub with my body weight on top of me. Not sure of the time I lost but I woke up to a very scary and traumatic situation hurt in the tub and alone. After laying for awhile I manage to get out and called down stairs to tell them what happen. They were not even bothered by the situation. In the morning I came down to breakfast about 9 something sore and told the first shift the same thing I told the night shift over the phone. She seemed a little concerned. I return to my room in pain. Later on that day I had wonderful lady come to my room and told me that this was inexcusable for a chemical to be left in the tub and said she was going to comp me my stay. After I checked out I notice I was not. So I called and was dismissed on the phone and GM refuse to response when I finally got someone to get on the phone and talk to me I was told that someone on the night shift observed me intoxicated and felt I wasn't worthy of a refund. Which wasn't true because Not only did I not have anything to drink I also had not left my room after I was hurt until 1st toward the ending of breakfast. So being accused I asked to have the tapes pulled and the agent told me that they can refuse to do so based on SC law which I know isn't true. If you don't want to do something don't offer. But to go the extra mile to try to discredit someone that is horrible. I pray this doesn't happen to anyone else because the next person might not just be hurt, they could be dead. It's not the money it's the principle. Those smiles turn to deception quickly when something happens to you. Beware of wolves in sheeps clothing. I made a reservation using my Hilton app in my phone. Then I used Google maps for directions. When I got there there was no hotel. So I thought no problem, this can easily be solved by calling the hotel, but there was no answer. I kept trying, no luck. I then called the Hilton general reservations number and they somehow managed to contact the hotel. Turns out that the address shown on the Hilton app is wrong. Armed with directions I arrived at the hotel I found that the reception desk was not staffed. No wonder nobody answers the phone. Really Hilton, get your act together. read more

The address should be 450 South Frontage Road, Forsyth, GA 31029. Instead, they are posting their address to be in a different zipcode, North instead of South, and the wrong house number.
