We stayed here for three nights at Thanksgiving. I meant to book the Hampton Inn on Riverside Drive off I-75 but mistakenly booked this one. We also got a room for our daughter and her fiancé. All together we paid about $1,000 for the six room nights. That's a lot for the quality of this Hampton Inn. We've stayed at dozens of Hampton Inns, and this one is below average. All the staff were very friendly, although some seemed incompetent. Our king accessible room was large, but the furnishings were way past their prime, and all the rooms apparently need to be refurbished. We also had a problem with ants coming up through the carpet squares. We reported this and asked for some ant spray, but we didn't get it. The breakfast wasn't up to par, with some of the dishes cold and nothing except the waffles were very appetizing. All in all I'd say you would be better off with one of the other Hampton Inns in Macon and environs. read more

Cons: our room was dated and aged, a/c won't go lower than 68 (I don't feel well and would give anything for 62-63 for a couple hours), pool and front desk at one end of long property and not in the center as usual, can hear everything from inside the room, and VERY difficult to access from road. It is NOT located on Eisenhower. Don't follow gps. This was a major mishap when towing a 32' trailer. And lastly, charged $10 extra for accessible room!!!! Isn't that illegal? read more

Very nice hotel off the highway, with free breakfast included and it's also walkable to a Cracker Barrel restaurant right next door. The hotel is very clean, offering regular rooms and also some suites if you have a larger group. They are pet-friendly, which did mean we heard a dog or two bark in the middle of the night randomly. But if you have a pet, it's nice to know where your four-legged friend is welcome. read more

Getting rate for a night was very difficult , online was 165 .00 a night, with discounts using AARP or senior and or Hilton honors I called the hotel and got 199 per night, with no discounts except for Hilton honors. we checked in April 30, 2025 and mentioned the rate online and we got room for 169.09 before tax, not very friendly at check-in. Should have more training. We went to the room, smelt like dog, the carpet was dirty and ripple , I called down for air freshener. I got Febreze helped for three minutes ! The beds were very uncomfortable, and I will rate them a 2, one of the beds boxspring lining was ripped off and laying under the mattress! The drapes/curtains were filthy... The bathroom look like it had been updated and was clean! Breakfast area was clean and staff was friendly.. I would never stay at this hotel again when we travel to Florida yearly.... not Epic!! read more

We made a reservation the day before we were going to check in, we also said that we would not arrive at the hotel till 5 a.m. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk. About 5 minutes later an employee finally arrived at the desk, they asked if we had a reservation and we said we did. They said our reservation was for yesterday and it was a no-show. They stated that we had to arrive before 3:30 am to stay in the room. When we were making our reservation we said we would not get to the hotel until 5:00 am, and the person on the phone said we indeed could arrive to the hotel at 5:00 am and it would not be a no-show. First and foremost....Ebony checked us in and she is a definitely a keeper...so nice and attentive! Great check in!! This hotel is showing some age, I have no idea when it was built, but it seemed a bit worn. The main reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the bathroom toilet was NOT cleaned. It's such an obvious spot to keep clean that it made me wonder about the rest of the room! There were also a few long stray hairs on the floor and in the shower. Hampton is a good choice for a mid-priced hotel. The property is clean and well maintained. The hot breakfast is amazing! The frittata is really good, and the sausage is grilled smoked sausage that is a nice touch. The server that day was super. All the staff are friendly and ready to serve their guests. Check-in went smoothly even without a reservation. Front desk and room cleaning staff were friendly. (We slept through breakfast so no comments there.) The entire facility was clean from lobby, hallways, and room. We were exhausted from traveling and found this a great place to stop. This was the first time that my wife and I had ventured out after the pandemic started. When we got to the hotel we were wearing masks behind protective barriers. When we got to the rooms the doors had a seal on them declaring that they had been cleaned with Lysol and even the TV remote had a note that it also had been cleaned. Convenient location along our route back to Florida from Indiana after Hurricane Irma. The room was clean and comfortable with some great design features. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports/chargers throughout the room. There were flat surfaces on BOTH sides of the TV unit where you could place a suitcase. The room also had a luggage rack. In addition to the standard office chair on one side, there were rolling pieces that could be used as either an ottoman with the couch or as seating on the other side of the TV unit. That means TWO people could work on laptops comfortably if they desired. There was a mini-fridge, small microwave and small coffee maker with supplies (not Keurig but would get the job done). We appreciated the step-in shower that had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bedding was nice and we got a good night's sleep with no aches and pains in the morning. The room was on the quiet side with only occasional muffled noise from traffic and some of the usual next-door room sounds in the morning, while we were all getting ready for the day. Breakfast was complimentary. There wasn't a large selection to begin and several items, including bananas, were not available when we arrived. Final Assessment: This property has a convenient location and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast would need to be bumped up a notch or two to keep it in-line with the rest of the experience. Definitely worthy of a return visit if/when we find ourselves in the area again. read more

I recently stayed one night at this Hampton Inn in Macon, Georgia, near I-475 and Eisenhower Parkway. While the stay was not horrible, it was not good, either. The room was noticeably dirty, including the bathtub. The first task upon arriving was taking a shower. The white shower mat was dirty underneath from the dirty floor that had not been cleaned properly. I utilized the digital check-in through the app, so I did not interact with the front desk staff. My room had been selected before I arrived. As a Diamond member, I was disappointed that the complimentary bottles of water and/or snack was not in the room. I know summer is hot in this region, but the beds were missing duvet fillings. The beds only had the flat sheet and the duvet covering, not the actual duvet in which the covering encompasses. I made do. About 10:00 p.m., a thunderstorm came through, and the cable stopped working as their provider is Direct TV and is served by a satellite presumably. The window in the room was leaking on the inside and top and into the air conditioning unit, which was running because it was a summer night. I promptly got dressed and spoke to a front desk agent about the situation. She seemed relatively unphased by the news. I expected her to move me immediately and notify maintenance. I was concerned since the water from the window was leaking into the electrical air conditioning unit, and water and electricity do not mix well. She stated that she would reduce my rate from 140/141 to 136, which is laughable, but I thanked her and wished her a good night. I went back to the room and used the trash can to collect the rain in the window and used a towel to dry up what I could. I thought perhaps the clerk might provide additional towels to use, but she did not. My receipt does not show the "discounted" rate, so that was not truthful on behalf of the front desk clerk. I feel that the leaking window, especially leaking into the electrical components of the air conditioning unit, is significant and should be reported to proper inspection officials, so no one gets hurt from the negligence of the hotel and its owner/operator. Word to the wise: stay away from room 124. It might be helpful to find another Hilton property other than this one as well. read more

This is the first hotel I've stayed in since Covid. I always like to stay in Hampton Inns because they are clean and comfortable. I understand things are different right now due to staffing issues and Covid restrictions, but the cleanliness of this hotel really disappointed me. Walking into our room right away it didn't smell clean. There was mold around the shower opening, base, and ceiling. There was part of the ceiling paint peeling back from the moisture. There was a ring drop of blood or something super dark red/brown by the sink. The couch was dingy and had white crusty spots. There was a mysterious stain dripping down the leg of the table. 5$3 door handle to the bathroom fell off and the door would not stay closed to the bathroom. There was also a large water stain/hole in the ice room and pieces of ceiling that had fallen and not been swept up. The sheets DID smell clean and like bleach. It was midnight when we arrived so I didn't bother to call the front desk about any issues. The hotel could really use a good scrub and refresh. Things were just heavily worn out and needed TLC. All in all I didn't not feel confident in the cleanliness but was way too exhausted to even move rooms. I paid close to $200 with taxes and fees, but probably could have stayed somewhere cheaper and cleaner. read more

Great great great stay! We've been traveling for 2 weeks on the Harley and while heading back home and trailering the bike at this point we stopped at this Hampton Inn for one nights stay. The staff here is so amazing, friendly and very accommodating, Calah was at the front desk and she allowed us to park our truck and motorcycle with the trailer in the front which made us feel great about leaving the bike out in the parking lot she also put us in a room where we can take a peek out at the bike. The free breakfast was the best we've had when the hotels offered free breakfast and the girl who made it Rhonda was very nice and took pride in her job, she made sure to keep everything clean and filled! I checked into the Hampton Inn at the last minute during a pass through Macon headed south. I did not have a reservation. The receptionist could not have been more hospitable and friendly. They had a room at a reasonable rate, made even better because I am a Hilton Club member. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. They serve a full breakfast, including vanilla and chocolate batter for waffles and smoothies (nice touch). I have not stayed at Hampton Inns often, but I will make a point in the future. read more

We checked in on Saturday Aug 10th. From the door it was evident that we were in for a treat. Jazz and Ebony are the best front desk team in the industry. We travel a great deal and their customer service skills are five star!!! The refrigerator was down in our room, they stored my medicine in staffing are and made sure it was available whenever I needed it. On today I was returning my medicine and another guest had arrived and was trying to check in using keyless entry. Jazz and Ebony swooped in and saved the day again. She had booked a room for a later date, so they got her squared away and she was so happy!!! These two ladies are genuine and I'm grateful to have met them. Upon check-in, the desk attendant was not to be found. We had to call out to see if anyone was around. She came out from the back office like we were bothering her. (I'm sorry I did not get her name.) She did not acknowledge our Honor's status not even tell us the room number when she handed us the keys. Later on, as I was walking through the lobby, I saw a lady standing at the desk. I said rather loudly, "You have to say Hello really loud to get their attention." The desk clerk then came out of hiding. Not the welcome that is "Hampton" style. The room was newly decorated and very nice. The bathroom vanity was low and easily accessible for a short person like myself. I loved the night light in the bathroom. It was actually part of the outlet, giving a very subtle light to the darkened room. The only thing that wasn't quite right was the desk lamp. It was retro. Think Pixar's lamp. But it was way too bright. If you looked in its direction, you were blinded. The breakfast attendants were very attentive. This particular hotel realized it was summer and did not have the heavy comforter on the bed. The room was very comfortable. read more
