Travelers Tip!!!!! Hey Central Indiana travelers driving to Central Florida and looking for a stopping point, this Hampton Inn will be exactly what you need after driving for so many hours. First, very friendly and accommodating staff. Second, the facility is sparkling clean and very well kept, inside and out. After a very quiet night, the hot complimentary breakfast is plentiful and offers a wide variety of items. Or grab a to-go bag if your in a hurry. Push to Macon to experience this comfortable hotel.

First and foremost....Ebony checked us in and she is a definitely a keeper...so nice and attentive! Great check in!! This hotel is showing some age, I have no idea when it was built, but it seemed a bit worn. The main reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the bathroom toilet was NOT cleaned. It's such an obvious spot to keep clean that it made me wonder about the rest of the room! There were also a few long stray hairs on the floor and in the shower. Hilton....Make clean a PRIORITY PLEASE! It's crucial these days!

This is newer Hotel, and right off 75- which is perfect for me. They let me keep my dog in the room, and they have very comfy beds! It's always clean and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is free, but it's just ok. They always run out of bananas, and they don't have tea. I would actually give them 5 stars if they stocked enough bananas, and had hot water and tea bags available.

This was the first time that my wife and I had ventured out after the pandemic started. When we got to the hotel we were wearing masks behind protective barriers. When we got to the rooms the doors had a seal on them declaring that they had been cleaned with Lysol and even the TV remote had a note that it also had been cleaned. Overall we felt safe and felt that the rooms were clean and the shower had great pressure and the water was hot.

This King bed gave us a good night's sleep.

Convenient location along our route back to Florida from Indiana after Hurricane Irma. The room was clean and comfortable with some great design features. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports/chargers throughout the room. There were flat surfaces on BOTH sides of the TV unit where you could place a suitcase. The room also had a luggage rack. In addition to the standard office chair on one side, there were rolling pieces that could be used as either an ottoman with the couch or as seating on the other side of the TV unit. That means TWO people could work on laptops comfortably if they desired. There was a mini-fridge, small microwave and small coffee maker with supplies (not Keurig but would get the job done). We appreciated the step-in shower that had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bedding was nice and we got a good night's sleep with no aches and pains in the morning. The room was on the quiet side with only occasional muffled noise from traffic and some of the usual next-door room sounds in the morning, while we were all getting ready for the day. Breakfast was complimentary. There wasn't a large selection to begin and several items, including bananas, were not available when we arrived. Final Assessment: This property has a convenient location and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast would need to be bumped up a notch or two to keep it in-line with the rest of the experience. Definitely worthy of a return visit if/when we find ourselves in the area again.

My bride booked it because it looked a little quirky online. I approached the whole affair with some caution. Lately, a few Marriott's hotels have developed the unfortunate habit of looking better on the internet than they do when you pull into the parking lot. I feared this might be another one of those adventures. I was wrong. The theme was Georgia peaches, and they carried that peach wagon all the way across the finish line. From the fresh peaches waiting when we arrived to the peach sangria offered at check-in, they never missed a note. It wasn't gimmicky. It was thoughtful. The place was spotless. The corridors were clean, the elevator corners were free of the dust bunnies that usually reveal a hotel's true character, and the room was cool, comfortable, and as clean as a grandmother's living room before company arrives. The peach-scented toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch, though they nearly had to compete with the professionalism of the staff. Everyone we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there--something that cannot be manufactured by a corporate training video. And then there was happy hour. My favorite hour. The rooftop bar was excellent, offering good drinks, good views, and a fine place to sit for a spell and watch the day wind down. When we left, I found myself doing something I don't often do with hotels these days: planning a return trip. I'd most definitely stay here again. Sometimes a place promises an experience. This one delivered it, peach by peach.

What really set this experience apart, though, was the people. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed. Hevert, the night manager, along with the security team, went above and beyond--sharing insights about the city and the rich history behind the building. That level of engagement makes a difference. We also had brunch at Loom, and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, and Lucas at the bar crafted cocktails like a true professional--balanced, intentional, and memorable. Our server, Jay, was equally impressive. His demeanor, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made the experience even better. He's the kind of person you remember after you leave.

I was a bit bummed. Room was nice, but did smell intermittently, which I believe came from the construction going on nearby/outside. Now for the pluses. Front desk staff were super nice and helpful. Concierge lounge was up and running. Loved the regular sized bottles of water. Staff there did a great job--cleaned tables and wiped them down. Location was convenient to a variety of places to eat near by. In general, I try to stay at places that don't charge for parking. You are already paying to stay there, so glad there was not any additional parking costs. Nice sized lot so it was awesome I didn't have to drive around and around looking for a spot to park. Did I say the staff was super nice? Well I am saying it again since it was refreshing to have folks who really seemed to do what they could to ensure you had a nice stay.. Room was clean. Towels were my favorite absorbent ones. Water pressure and temperature were on target. Nice long counter in the bathroom. Larger fridge in the room. Bed and sheets were comfy and inviting. Lots of outlets for charging your devices. Definitely more pluses than challenges!

On Tuesday…read moreevening, May 5th, we went directly to the front desk IN PERSON to cancel the final night of our reservation for May 7th. We spoke with Megan, who told us the cancellation had been "released on their end" and specifically instructed us to contact Hotels.com for the refund because the hotel had already handled their side. Now Hotels.com is claiming the hotel NEVER canceled the reservation, and when we called the hotel back, we were told there are "no notes in the system" and apparently no record of the conversation at all. Trying to resolve this with Hotels.com and the hotel has been a nightmare. Multiple calls, being transferred around, language barriers making communication extremely difficult, endless "so sorry for bad experience" responses, yet absolutely NO actual help or accountability from either side. The hotel says it wasn't canceled, Hotels.com says the hotel never notified them, and meanwhile the customer gets stuck paying for a room they canceled TWO DAYS EARLY in person. Beyond the cancellation issue, the stay itself was not pleasant. The beds were hard as a rock and incredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom was so tiny you could practically touch the door while sitting on the toilet. You had to walk to another building entirely just to get breakfast. To top it off, the toilet clogged during our stay and nobody could even bring a plunger until the next morning. Overall this was an extremely frustrating experience from start to finish, with poor communication, poor customer service, and zero accountability. We absolutely would not stay here again and would strongly recommend others think twice before booking here, especially through Hotels.com.
