Stayed for 3 nights ... arriving after midnight , showered and pulled back the sheets to find them dirty !! Called the front desk and he brought up another sheet set but forgot pillow cases. Called again . Last thing I wanted to do was change hotel bed sheets. The bed didn't even have a mattress cover and you could feel the large lint balls as you sat on the bed. Didn't seem like the room was cleaned well. Even found someone's dried /hard contacts on the ground. The bathroom shower needs repairs. Cracked & mildew corners Very

Stayed here for work, 2 nights mid-week; the hotel was booked for me. Location was convenient for work purposes, but also conveniently located near lots of (chain, meh) restaurants, a Target, Walmart/ Sam's Club, etc. Check in was quick and painless. I parked my car, walked up to the front desk, and had my room key in less than 5 minutes. A quick elevator ride took me up to my room. The room was much more spacious than I had anticipated. Very clean too. The bathroom was clearly re-done not too long ago, and it looks great. I appreciate all of the Neutrogena shower products available. I'm a tall person, so I love big shower towels; this place just didn't have that. I wish there were more (& bigger!) towels. I nearly missed the mini fridge hidden behind the tv cabinet door. What a nice surprise! The bed was too uncomfortable for my liking- way too lumpy. I was so tired from not being able to sleep comfortably that I eventually just passed out from exhaustion. Sure, I could have asked for a different room, but I had already gotten in so late, had to be up early, was exhausted, and it just wasn't worth the effort to repack and unpack all of my stuff to MAYBE get comfortable... One of the greatest things about the room was that there are outlets-a-plenty. Anywhere you look you are bound to find an outlet. I sing high praises for the genius who designed this aspect of these rooms. Complimentary wifi was good- especially in the rooms. Complimentary breakfast (served 6am- 10am) was just okay. I didn't sit and eat; I grabbed a bagel & some cream cheese one day, and a muffin and a yogurt the next day. The cut fruit looked a little weird... not too sure what was going on there. Checkout took all of 30 seconds. All in all, if I had to come back to this area, I wouldn't mind staying here again. I'd just check out that mattress sooner.

We were in town visiting for the UC/Purdue Football Game on Saturday. We stayed here for one night, and I must say, for a Hampton Inn type of hotel this was pretty nice. The location is in a really convenient spot around everything you could think of. Safe area, very suburban area. We had no problems checking in, they gave us a room key card for all three of us. (Which usually they just give you two, regardless of how many people are in the room.) The front desk workers were really nice. This hotel is really kept up well. Fresh new designs all throughout the hotel. Nothing looks out of date. Everything is clean. Which is always my biggest things when staying at hotels. CLEANLINESS. Not only was the hotel it'self well kept, our room was really clean. The beds were super clean, and so was the bathroom. They won my heart in that category. The beds were comfy. The room had lots of storage for longer stays. A full-size ironing board, and iron. Mini Fridge and Coffee Maker, the usuals. Nice large TV, that had more than five channels. They even had NFL Network. They had complimentary breakfast in the morning with lots of options. I would go earlier than later because some of the food was cold by the time we got down there. Only cons I can really think of were that... 1. We had issues with the internet. They wrote down the password for the internet on our key card holder. When we tried to log in it didn't ask for a password and either asked for a bunch of other stuff or just didn't connect. 2. If you're really sensitive to a sound I would bring some ear plugs. I could hear the TV from the room below us, I could hear everything going on in both rooms next to us. It's a busy area outside too, off of the main road. I could hear everything going on outside. So it's noisy. It wasn't a big deal for me because I was exhausted and passed out pretty fast but I could see it being an issue for other people. Overall a really good stay for a couple of people who are extremely picky about staying at hotels. Would totally stay here again if we revisit Lafayette.

On the way to the restaurant we spotted DoubleTree. So on the way home my mom asked to make a stop there to get their famous cookies! She called ahead and spoke to Adam. He was very kind on the phone and said absolutely we can stop in just for cookies. In person he gave us extra cookies and we left very happy and giddy! Lol This used to be something my Mom did with my Dad. Stop into a Doubletree for special occasions and pick up a couple cookies. My Dad is not well enough to travel any more, so it was so nice for my mom to still experience their tradition. Thanks Adam! You may have thought it was no big deal, but made a big difference for my mom.

Hotel staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and clean however the water pressure and temperature is just horrible. Barely and water pressure and warm water at best. Stayed in 601 with views of the highway. Around the corner from 601 is an elevator which I'm not sure guest were aware of as it seems we were the only ones to use it. Breakfast is available for a fee but there is an IHOP and Denny's within walking distance. No extra towels and bedding in the room but the staff was accommodating when asked for extra. While I would stay here again the water issues could deter me to a different hotel in the area.

The lobby was packed with kids and there was an adult, at the desk, with a laptop out trying to figure out rooms with the employees. I stood there a couple minutes trying to figure out if I could go around all the kids and check in. I finally did and thankfully the other employee was able to pull away from the laptop and get our room. Parking was fine and we got unloaded with a cart. Getting the cart through the lobby with all the kids wasn't easy. Not the hotel's fault they didn't understand moving aside when asked. We got to the room which looked nice. We quickly discovered the door to the hallway was very thin. You could hear everything from the hallway. The bathroom has a sliding door and definitely was not sound proof at all. Everything else about the room was fine. At around 1:00am there was a group of people in the hallway. Woke all of us up and we were about to call and complain when they finally moved on. Breakfast was packed! I felt bad for the one employee trying to keep everything stocked. He was running around doing the best he could. We managed to squeeze into one small table, which was the only one available. Could this hotel have potential, yes! Try to avoid a youth retreat group stopping the same time.

It was a grim experience (no fault of Uriel or the Hilton - avoid Rocket Travel by Agoda like your life depends on it), but Uriel made it all work out. Our king room was comfy and well furnished. Decent outlets and lighting and the black-out shades worked well. Quiet environs and a comfy bed gave us good sleep. Great location for walking to food and bev options, or just for exercise. All the staff we encountered were pleasant. WiFi worked fine in the room. Elevators weren't Vegas-fast, but worked fine. Parking was in a city garage nearby but was hassle free. I've been in hotels in small town USA and when I say I'm allergic to pork they have some sort of response. She clearly could care less. The eggs were over cooked, the potatoes were reheated (that's not a problem with me) but they were cold. The TURKEY sausage was probably microwaved because it was hot for 3 seconds, then quickly got cold and became chewy. I know toast is suppose to be dry, but how do you make dry toast, it was bad, I had to pull to tear the bread away. Was it stale? The orange juice was probably Tropicana or something gross When they said we have a restaurant, I was expecting more. So…read moreif you're a woman please be careful These were supposedly apartments back in their hay day. There are no smart TVs, just DIRECT. There are bugs everywhere. I discovered a colony of ants in the dark carpet on the floor. Followed their trail all the way to my door where I seen them coming in from the bottom left side of the door. I talked to staff at the front who said they would have maintenance come. I asked to have them call after he was done, they didn't. He did come and when I came back after work I seen that the dead ants were still on the kitchen wall. Ants were still coming from the same side of the door. I talked to 2 different staff members who apologized and moved me to an alternate room(handicapped room). It seemed better so I agreed. Boy was I wrong! The paper towels left in the room were dirty, the fridge was not thoroughly cleaned, the curtains were torn, the pans in the cabinet were dirty, there's no sponges to hand wash, and the carpet in both places was torn as well! The pans, plates and utensils were placed in the top cabinets, so if you're handicapped and in a wheelchair, you would never be able to reach them unless you called for assistance or had someone with you to grab them. The only things accessible in the room were the sinks, shower, refrigerator, and sliding dishwasher. If you wanted to clean your dishes you would have to put them in the dishwasher and hope that they left you dishwasher detergent. Because the first room didn't even have that. Bugs were better but definitely still present. All in all I will never stay here again, the staff were kind and I don't have an issue with how I was treated but the cleanliness and upkeep are terrible and the whole place needs a remodel! Even the outside is covered in bugs, so seeing the ants & spider webs in my room just made it worse. And lastly to end things with a cherry on top. I attempted to take a shower Thursday morning to discover there was no hot water. Not from the shower, the bathroom sink or the kitchen sink. Apparently a pipe busted, they had a water leak and this damaged the hot water heater. They had a plumber come, however, a tech would not be in until Friday afternoon. Thankfully, there are gyms nearby so I was able to shower there before I left Friday morning.
