Friendly service and clean well-maintained rooms. Centrally located and plenty of free parking.

My stay at Aloft was unfortunately defined by one overwhelming issue: the smell. From the moment…read moreyou walk through the doors, you're hit with an intense mix of heavily scented cleaner and air freshener. It's not subtle--it's overpowering to the point that it made my eyes water and caused intensely painful headache. The room itself was even worse. The odor was so strong it triggered a headache and nausea, making it incredibly difficult to relax or get any rest--especially frustrating after arriving already sleep-deprived. What added to the experience was the lack of clear or confident communication from staff. I received multiple explanations for the smell--air freshener, cleaning products, even the floors--none of which inspired confidence or resolution. The room also lacked proper ventilation, leaving no way to escape the lingering fumes. Beyond that, the overall experience continued to fall short. The vibe felt off, my room key repeatedly failed to work from outside due to what I was told was a broken door, and parking comes at an additional $9/day. The noise level is bonkers. They said they were full. They stated I would be on the top floor and stocked with coffee and blankets for the bed. As seen by the photos, neither was confirmed or delivered. In contrast, the Hilton next door offers free parking and a much more comfortable, odor-free environment. Overall, this stay was disappointing and far from relaxing. I would not choose to stay here again. - signed an elite member staying on the road 80-90% of the month

Very bizarre experience. He told me that he didn't have a room for me. I asked if I needed to wait a few minutes until 3:00, he just shrugged and said he didn't know. I was a bit confused, and told him I had a room booked. He just looked at me and said "I don't know, we had 15 rooms that requested a late check out". I was a little bit baffled, so I just stood there looking at him. He eventually got on the phone and spoke to someone, then told me he'd found me a hearing accessible room. He was very dismissive and almost rude during our entire interaction, it was very odd. The room itself was fine, but I'd be very hesitant to book again based on how I was treated. He was working again the next morning when I checked out, and had the same dismissive attitude. The manager reached out to me to discuss what happened, and how they intended to move forward. I really appreciated their response, so I'm updating this review.

It's a 0 out of 5 stars to be honest. This hotel is literally the most disgusting place I've ever…read morestayed. Motel 6 has nicer rooms than this. I have never stayed in a hotel with such a lack of concern for cleanliness and room quality. We checked in for one night and were assigned a first floor room. I noticed there were windows, so just to be sure, I pulled one up to see if it would open, and it did! I was immediately concerned about the safety factor, since it clearly hadn't even been checked to ensure it was locked. That prompted me to take a closer look at everything else. There were bugs and spider webs in the windows. The bathroom had numerous hairs already in the shower, and, unbelievably, there was even a hair sitting right on top of a towel. The floor was disgusting and had clearly not been vacuumed. The electrical outlet covers were popped off, which is quite literally a safety hazard. On top of that, the deadbolt that most hotel rooms have for extra security had been completely removed. Everything in the room was rusted and dusty. There was even a broken chair placed in the room. The microwave and refrigerator were also dirty. I was so disgusted that I went to Walmart and bought my own pillowcases, Lysol, and disinfecting wipes just to clean the toilet and surfaces myself. I would have rather slept in my car than stayed there again. After speaking with the woman at the front desk, our room was switched. While the second room was slightly better (it was on the second floor, had a deadbolt, and didn't have random hairs everywhere), I still felt the need to wipe everything down and spray the room all over again. There are other hotels in the area that are only $20 - $30 more and are significantly better. I strongly recommend choosing one of those instead. This place may offer free breakfast, but that doesn't matter when you can't even trust the cleanliness of the rooms and how could you feel comfortable eating food prepared there? (& just to be clear we, ate nothing from there!) The reviews for this hotel are honestly confusing. I find it hard to believe that other guests had such positive experiences. The only nice thing about this place was the furniture in the lobby and the small sitting area. It was clear they put effort into making that space look nice for photos, likely to distract from the condition of the actual rooms.
