This was the most interesting and informative historical tour, I believe we've ever taken. We are both completely fascinated by Shakespeare. Dave was a splendid guide. Without ruining part of the tour, just understand there is a reason he's so passionate and knowledgeable. I recommend this tour, please don't miss it. This is real history.

Give yourself at least a two-hour window and expect a tour back in time. We didn't have enough time to visit and it wasn't conducive to self tours. Recommend it if you have a good window of time. Loved our host and they were very accomodating on the tours.

My first Harvest Host stay. Arrived on Thanksgiving, but the hosts were still gracious to give us a tour of the ghost town, which is full of rich history. Their enthusiasm for showing the place off was fantastic. I can highly recommend this stop, whether for a night in an RV (make reservations through Harvest Host, no hookups), or for a day tour. The setting in the high desert is beautiful. Don't be intimidated by the short unpaved road. You'll be happy you visited.

This was the best ghost town tour I have been on. .. not tourist fake but a real history of the town and family that saved it. Most of the buildings are ghost town perfect in stable but un restored condition that makes you really feel he soul! Highly recommend!
