Want to share the most horrible experience staying at the above place and the way the staff treated us. I booked 2 nights (19th and 20th July )stay thro my Costco travel. 1. They did not have the room that I booked and gave me an accessible room instead. 2. They had me listed for one night and despite showing my Costco reservation, they charged me for the extra night that I paid for. I had to call Costco Travels and they called the hotel to rectify this. The front desk is rude to the core especially "Kemoy" (he was on duty the day I had to check out. He also gave me a hard time when I requested a late checkout on Monday when the hotel was empty. The Manager was even more disappointing. Despite my call at 8:30 AM with the front desk requesting that I speak to the manager until my check out around 11:45 AM, he did not have the time to meet with me. Hampton Inn Bridgeville has a bed bug infestation problem. I would not recommend staying here under any circumstances! As if the bed bugs weren't enough, we were also racially profiled. In no circumstances should bed bugs be taken lightly, but when we conveyed our grievances, we were completely dismissed. The front desk clerk tried to urge her manger that our case was urgent. After calling the manager however, she then informed us that her manager, Emma Mallick, said it was her off day and she was busy. They made no effort to reassure or compensate our stay at another location. Instead we had to beg for a refund AND receipt showing we were reimbursed. When being assertive about our experience (and telling them we had bed bug bites) they then proceeded to call the cops. Luckily the cops were very understanding of our situation, and we were finally given our recipt. t's so common for Black and Brown people to be policed when expressing our grievances regarding how we've been mistreated, and not serviced correctly. We made no threats or physically harmed anyone, but the cops were still called because we expressed our service was unacceptable after not only discovering bed bugs, but being bitten by them. I will also like to add that after the lead house keeper showed us the bed bugs, she informed us that for the last 6 months they've been experiencing a bed bug problem. Filled with construction workers who party all night making noise and drinking/banging on walls and shouting. Avoid this place.

Often times the room you get can make or break your hotel experience. I stay in hotels like this when traveling, and usually for only one night. It seems that the night we were here, people had booked the room next to us so their teenage daughters had a place to run around and party all night. We tolerated it all evening, but when midnight came and it didn't get any quieter, we called down to the front desk. They somehow got these girls to settle down because it did get more quiet. This is not the hotels fault, just people who don't care that others come here to sleep. The room itself was a typical Hampton room. The room was clean and spacious and everything worked. The room - stayed in a king bed room. It was at little on the small side. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was small. Everything was reasonably clean. Outside noise was minimal Dining room - very small. Breakfast options are typical for a Hampton. Staff kept things well supplied during the very brief time that I was in the room. Issue(s) - the walls are very thin. We had a group of unattended tweens in the room next door who were out of control for nearly 3 hours (from 9pm -midnight). Screaming, yelling and slamming doors. It took 2 calls to the front desk for the noise to subside. Covid safety efforts were a joke. Absolutely no one (staff or guests) wore masks or maintained social distancing. The hotel is located on a very convenient spot & close to the interstate highway. Their rooms are spacious & have decent beds. But that's does not equal the problems this hotel have :( 1. Their Breakfast are mostly under cooked 2. Their rooms have lot of bugs. Even thou they are not bed bug but they are definitely an irritation Expirence during my Stay in 2018. This is a great location - friendly service at the desk, brand new facility (Opened Dec 2013), clean, great breakfast and an indoor pool (never been in it). Make sure you book in advance as it does sell out. Located just off of I79 - and "yes" you can hear the trucks going past at night. Like all the Hamptons, the heat/ac is in a window unit and it is tough to get the temperature just right. Forget about running the fan at night........ But its hard to beat CLEAN, Very good Breakfast, and cheap! read more

( although no cookies bummer) grabbed a coffee around the corner since it was cold outside. Steelers playoffs tonite! A happy bunch in TV area!! They lost tho. I caught up with a few episodes on my Netflix since nothing else on tv. The Internet was streaming perfectly! The bed was greatly comfy and melted right in. Breakfast pretty good too. We were going to go to a airbnb, but decided to go here because of the pool! I called 3 different times asking if pool was open and if i could bring my grandkids to the pool to give them something fun to do since I never see them! I could have at least been told me that there are swim classes for hours during the week! This hotel is for guests, so why is the pool used for swim classes? I bought some toys and my kids drive 45 mins to hotel and we couldn't do anything because you had classes there! Also, the electricity went off and it got hot and we couldn't sleep for a couple of hours and we were traveling the next morning. It was awful! I saw at the desk that someone got a discount for it being hot in their room and then we ask and we were not given a discount! How is that fair? Then, I looked for a hotel with a hot breakfast! Everyday, we got a bag of the same thing for the week we were there! At least tell your guest when making reservations that there is no hot breakfast! The other hotels we stayed at had hot breakfast, so I don't know why this one did not! read more

Stayed one night but would stay again if in the area. Pros: clean room, comfortable bed, great water pressure with an adjustable shower head, a fridge that actually gets things cold, good breakfast and a helpful and courteous front desk. Cons: no vending on floors, overly expensive items ($2 for a candy bar). Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Only gave the 4 stars because the expensive candy bar. Worst staff and management ever they are all rude and lie and charge you for anything and everything they can without even telling you. I would avoid this hotel like the plague. There are stink bugs everywhere. The fruit is rotten every morning during the free breakfast. I found items in my room from previous customers so rooms are not even cleaned properly. There were socks earrings underwear the list goes on and on I will never ever stay at this hotel again and I would advise everyone to find another if you have to stay in Bridgeville. read more

One thing great about Hampton Inn's, they are consistent. Each one you can count on - a good breakfast, business center to use a computer or print with some office supplies, evening cookies and 24/7 coffee/hot tea/hot chocolate, room has it all (plenty of outlets to charge, refrig, microwave, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, lil coffee machine, toiletries, plenty of towels, well stocked room), nice that it had peep hole covers, dead bolt with a door block on regular door and the connecting door. Free parking. Wifi was easy and no hiccups. It's located a bit out of the way but you drive about a mile to a Chipotle, Starbuck, McD, and some other amenities. I had to go to South Hills so it was no more than 20 mins away using the street way in as it was reverse traffic. I'd stay again when I return! read more

The wife and I spent two nights here and have zero complaints. The entire place is spotless, the staff is very friendly, and the hot breakfast was surprisingly good. Although they have no restaurant or bar, they do sell adult beverages and microwaveable items at the front desk and there are numerous establishments close by. They have a very nice indoor pool, comfortable beds, and numerous security cameras that all add up to a restful nights sleep. read more

I stay at this Hampton Inn at least once a month. It's always very clean! The staff at this Hampton are exceptional! Shannon, who works evenings at the front desk, goes out of her way to be helpful.
