Overall this chain has been consistent. This particular stay was under urgent circumstances and they were very accommodating. We were here for one week June 7-14 2025 This particular hotel is one of their older buildings but still very nice What did not impress: The room we had was 234, I believe it may have original been a single bed suite because the closet was partial block and had to access by a might stand. Very awkward and a pain in the A##. The window area had maybe some water damage once upon a time and had the plaster and the wood was rotted/peeled or missing. Looked very poor and decayed The ac unit worked great, however it sounds like a jet engine stating up or something and seemed louder as our stay progressed -one week Overall I recommend this chain and we have another stay already book at a different location on our way home for tonight.

The hotel is currently doing renovations. They were laying down new carpet in the lobby and on the first floor when we checked in. We waited over 15 mins to check in. There was no rep at the desk, just a sign that said BRB. Room does not have a microwave, just a mini fridge. There is a water fountain near the lobby which was helpful. Breakfast was okay. There was a lot of people at breakfast and the staff had a hard time keeping up with refilling the egg omelettes and sausages. They did have 2 waffle machines.

Such a nice friendly clean hotel. The atmosphere is really set here , all other patrons were very friendly! The hotel smelled and felt very clean! I feel like we are in a safe area and even left a few bags in the car that we never do! Front desk was very nice at check in! The firm bed was of my liking, pillows FLAT! My husband liked those though lol Our view of the highway was nice as well, felt like an updated hotel room! Breakfast was plentiful, cheese omelettes, pork sausage, fresh oatmeal, coffee, 4 different juice, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, fruit, cereal. I would definitely stay again!

Me and my family stayed at this Hampton Inn in Sandy Utah we got to the room and when I pulled back the covers their were so many bugs on the cover and bed bugs on the sheets I couldn't even stay there I needed to go somewhere else I told the front desk manager kalli about the bugs and needed a refund and that we were going to go somewhere else she said she couldn't give me a refund but she could offer me another room! The health inspector needs to come and inspect this hotel

This Hotel is by far the worst managed, dirty, and inompetently run hotel. Pass on this hotel and spend your money elsewhere.

Good value, exactly what I expected as I used to stay here frequently 16-24 years ago.

I have been here for 2 weeks. For the 3rd time there is no hot water, it is lukewarm at best. Seems to be a serious lack of maintenance.

What size is the sofa bed? Also on the Hilton website it says that the King rooms include video games. What does that mean?

The person who checked us in said "I'm in your parking spot, but you can have it when I leave at 10pm tonight". Not terrible, not $225/night quality. 6) Guest book in the room with rules & places to dine around town is outdated; Iggys? Hoppers? Both out of business for several years now. 7) No where to put your suitcase or belongings, not even a luggage rack to keep belongings off the floor. Smaller place, free parking and decent breakfast! It's just the principle of paying parking fees and a Holiday Inn Express that bugs me, it not like so fancy Hilton hotel on SF or something. So, this location is is just off South Auto mall drive just off the 15 freeway. I did notice a Texas Roadhouse steak place nearby! Easy to get to and park for free! Check in was fine and we all got our rooms just fine. All the keys even worked! My room was on the first floor, I requested that. The WiFi worked as that's the first thing I do when I get to my room is log the sucker on. I can do my work and run my crew that way. The room AC was good and the bathroom was clean and had good hot water pressure for those long hot shower that my little water tank at home can't give me! Everyone else said their rooms were fine. Coffee was available in the lobby all the time, so that's good, but I still miss my Starbucks coffee. Breakfast was fine, exactly what we expect at Holiday Inn Expresses, and those cinnamon rolls are fantastic. I think we'll be happy staying here rather than one of those other locations. The staff here at this location was nice and friendly and efficient.

The breakfast is nice, tho once again the pancake maker wasn't working. Hot water for cocoa wasn't filled, that sort of thing. Little things. My big issue is that I called in advance to be sure the hot tub was working. After a 10 hr drive a gal needs a hot tub. They assured me it was. When we checked in I asked again and was assured it was working. Hubs went to soak and came back to tell me nope, hot tub not working. So I hobble down with the grandkid for him to swim and I check out the hot tub. It's hot: but I go to turn the jets on and the knob and plate literally fell off into my hand. I brought it to the front desk and let them know that indeed no jets were working in the hot tub. I'd leave it at that but as we're soaking and kids swimming, maintenance came in - this man caulked/glued the plate on. So..: no intention of actually fixing the jets/timer - just cover that up.?! And still tell ppl you have a hot tub? Ok then. So we likely won't stay here next year.
