Stayed here when we attended a wedding and surprisingly this place was great. The check in was smooth and the lady was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very clean and offered lots of space for comfort. Also the air conditioner worked amazing. The room stayed cold and we had a beautiful Mountain View. Breakfast was enjoyable and offered lots of options. The only complaint is we got ice cream late at night from the hotel and when we opened the package it was half melted. The cookie sandwich was dripping and ripped in my hand and the Kit Kat bar came off the stick. We still ate the ice cream but it was messy. Overall a good experience here read more

This is a quiet, simple place to rest. Mind you, it's been full during our stay but it was mostly quiet. Phew! When people talked right outside our door or on a shared wall, we could hear them. Beds- nice support with a soft top Pillows- too thin for me, but I like how the pillow covers are labeled soft or firm. Sheets- nice and soft Towels- scratchy and don't have a fresh smell bath towels on the small side. I was nervous about staying here. We'd booked on hotels.com and we're driving from Denver. We have a baby, wasn't sure how he'd travel so we booked accommodation half way just in case. We were making great time and decided to cancel our night in the mountains if we could extend our stay here. I called 3 times and it kept ringing out. That's never a good sign...Finally my husband called and got someone straight away, got the same room for that night and we pushed on. The room was great, comfortable and we were able to put the coffee table under the desk so we had more room for our baby to crawl without hitting his head. We had a king room and it was a good size for us plus his pack and play for 3 nights. There's no bath tub in the room though so we had to just try and plug the shower drain and bath him in the shower pan. The basin was too small for our chubby kid. It was nice that the room had a little bottle of dish liquid and some plastic silverware etc but I didn't appreciate the hair on my pillow. And the cleaners didn't take our trash... The food at breakfast was fine. The typical hotel fare. The pancake machine was a nice touch though. My main complaints are that the walls are thin. Our second night someone kept banging a door or something and although our baby slept through it, it was making me angry laying there listening to it. There was only one tiny little cranky lady working the breakfast room on thanksgiving day and Black Friday. She really needed help, it was busy and people were hungry. Every time she refilled the hot food it was gone in minutes. The lady that was on today when we checked out was much more pleasant. And the laundry on our floor with the ice machine in it wasn't working and was locked, so we had to carry the cooler down to the lobby, fill it with ice and bring it up only to fill it with food and carry it back down again - because of course, there's only two bag carts and they were both hiding in peoples rooms when we needed to use one. read more

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel was clean, smelled pleasant. The staff were friendly and very accommodating with our requests: more pillow, blanket, towels for our group of 6. It was delightful to find the pool has "quiet time" hours from 6-8am. So peaceful to swim and hot tub all alone. Then, our 4 teens showed up at 8am and had a blast playing Marco Polo. Breakfast & coffee area was functioning as normal!!! Our room was comfortable, clean, spacious. We appreciate the full-size shampoo, conditioner, shower gel combo attached to the shower walk. We were a bit nervous about traveling during COVID, but had some business to attend to. We were able to check in with no problem and get squared away in our room, which was spacious and clean. Despite COVID and a sign asking people to wear masks, there were enough people not wearing masks, that we took the stairs in order to avoid the lobby. When we left, there was no one behind the front desk, so checking out wasn't a big deal. read more

Everything about our stay was great. We had issues with another hotel and when I called holiday inn express they were able to accommodate us last minute. The room was clean, quiet and bigger than what we would have been in with the other hotel and the view from our room was great! Unfortunately I had an incident at this hotel. The General Manager, Alex Hammond, would not accommodate a Gold Elite 15 year Priority Club member. He stood by a policy, blaming Corporate for not helping me. When I asked for contact information for Corporate, he stated that he represents corporate and there is no contact information, so in effect, it was he alone that was unwilling to help me. Be very careful when booking this hotel in advance. Over the 15 years that I have been a loyal Priority Club member, I have spent thousands of dollars at Holiday Inns across America. Alex Hammond, GM, while using very poor business sense, had no qualms about alienating a loyal customer for the sake of $85.00. I also found it very interesting that Alex Hammond, a GM at one Holiday Inn, represented himself as "the representative" of IHG. read more

After a grueling 6+ hour drive after being up at the butt crack of dawn, going to school all day, and generally being exhausted, at 1 AM, I was psyched to see that our hotel was actually... REALLY NICE. Living in Vegas, I know what's a good hotel and what isn't, and this definitely is a good one. Me, Katie L., Jason T. & Wesley C. all arrived here together at 1 AM, 10/14/11 and left around 5 PM the next day because we were attending a Youth Leadership School, hosted (and paid for) by The Leadership Institute. Because our trip was comped, I'm not sure how much the rooms were. One thing that I wish that the front desk had told us was if the people we were rooming with, that we were not informed about, had already checked in. Unsuccessfully trying to open our (mine & Katie's) door, we were sure it was broken. The boys tried using the key for us and it wouldn't open. We were then scared half to death as somebody answered the door - a complete stranger we'd have to room with. (Not the hotel's fault, this was set up by the school.) The room was definitely large and had two queen beds and an ample bathroom. Apparently, it wasn't large enough for our ridiculously messy roommate who thought the need to mark every surface of the hotel room by covering it with her stuff, as if she was a cat. Thank God there was a closet. Katie & I took over that small area to keep our stuff safe from the girl we were rooming with. The ironing board and iron came in quite handy that was hanging in that closet. What we couldn't put in the closet, (food) we kept in the boys' room because they had a fridge (so did we) but they had the advantage of a less weird roommate. The place is extremely clean and I was floored with housekeeping actually cleaned up the messy roommate's trash and made all the beds. I feel for them. I spent two days in their conference room and had breakfast there both days. I'd recommend breakfast elsewhere but it's free, and it's fast so... whatever. I used their business center to do homework and to take an anatomy test that was due on Saturday. Guess what? Free prints! Also, if you ctrl+ F, on their computers, the search box comes up at the bottom left hand corner of the screen rather than the upper right hand corner. I didn't notice this right away and FREAKED out as I needed it while taking a timed test. Luckily, I noticed it just in the knick of time. I'd definitely go back if I were in the area because this place is snazz. read more

We stayed here during a weekend trip to Utah. I found the hotel to be clean but older and the staff was friendly. The continental breakfast had eggs, breakfast meats, hot cereals, and yogurt (rather extensive). A couple of concerns: -the doors are thin and sound easily comes through, so you'll hear a lot of coming and going, especially if you're on the first floor. -the parking is limited later in the evening/night. There is a student apartment next door, so maybe this is a contributing factor? Otherwise, the place suited our needs, and I would stay here again. read more

This hotel is a bit dated inside, but it's definitely a comfortable place to stay. The rooms are spacious. They have little kitchenettes with coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, and a small sink separate from the bathroom. The couch style is old but still comfy. There are lots of mirrors which is nice for getting dressed and applying makeup. The desk and chair are comfortable. I would stay here again. Located right off highway 15 next to a Subway and a Dominoes in case you are really hungry. It is clean. read more

Overall, a nice place. It's clean, with modern decoration, friendly staff. Downsides: the spa has far too much chlorine, so much so that my eyes burned while still above water. I understand that a certain level must be maintained by health code, but I also know by smell that they had at least 10x the required amount in that water. We couldn't enjoy the spa at all after our 15 hour drive. The breakfast was, well, awful. The scrambled eggs were the absolute worst I've ever had. One bite, no mas! Terrible. Everything that had to be prepared on site was inedible; eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, even the pancakes that came out of the machine. It's a shame to waste food, tasting one bite, then pushing it away in disgust. But I wouldn't call that food. Thankfully, there was cold cereal and pre- made muffins. Oh, and the coffee was terribly weak too. This really is a nice place otherwise. The rooms are comfy and quiet. But if you're going to advertise a pool and free breakfast, the reasons we chose to stay here, you'd better at the very least provide a fair to middlin' experience. read more

Very clean,always the most importing. Great friendly staff. They leave you alone when you put the do not disturbed sign up ( you would be surprised how many times I'm sleeping and hear " housekeeping" or the phone ring saying we seen the sign are you sure you don't want your room cleaned Really ) . They give you tons of nice fluffy towels. The softest beds heaven with firm and soft pillows. Heated pool and jacuzzi . There would be 5 stars if there was a tub I love baths,hate showers. This place is a bit tricky to find. Coming up the 15N, Google Maps tells me to go EAST (right off the freeway). When in actuality it's WEST, (left off the freeway). We got in town at 6am after driving 12+ hours from Orange County, so I was a bit off with my directions. We arrived on their 3rd day of business. Needless to say, the interior and the room was IMMACULATE. I am now forever a fan of Holiday Inn Express & Suites. As a priority club member, I was able to upgrade to a suite at no charge and we knocked out as soon as we checked in. In a few hours, we all woke up to catch their breakfast. I've had it before and well, it's the same, good stuff across states. Hot food, cereal, yogurt, coffee, cinnamon rolls, the works. Best of all? We had the area all to ourselves. The rooms were very clean as usual and the staff was friendly, helpful (helped my friend get a # for an airport shuttle) and the business center is so hip! Our room had a 46-50" HDTV, comfy beds and soft linens. We also had a fridge, dishwasher, sink and everything else to make it comfortable and what we needed. Temperature was easily controlled and worked perfectly. I highly recommend this hotel in particular and this hotel chain in general. They are always top notch and wiling to do whatever it takes to make sure your stay is PERFECT. read more

It's a very clean, well kept place. The staff are friendly and helpful; very mindful of your requests. They don't cheap out on your needs ex: towels, toilet tissue, e.c.t. If you feel like a snack, don't go spastic, they have a snack room full of drinks, snacks, and microwaveable meals. When we arrived at this hotel on our trip from Texas to Washington, there was nobody at the front desk. There was instructions to dial "0" on the phone across the lobby to get desk help. First of all....what?? What hotel does that at 6pm? Second, I dialed and I got the voicemail of "Ben", the general manager. Again....what??? So then I waited for 8 minutes and finally I yelled "Helloooo!" and a young lady came out from the back office IN HER PAJAMAS. Really? If I didn't already have three tired children and a reservation...I would have left. We checked into the room and it was very nice and new. The whole hotel is brand new. No complaints about the room at all. The next morning, for breakfast...two hours before breakfast was over, there was no more individual milks, boiled eggs, or yogurts. The milk in the carafe was warm. So my husband went to the front desk to ask if someone else could come stock the breakfast area since the breakfast attendant was in the prep room checking her email. Two minutes later the attendant comes out, and loudly says, "Who is the one who said there was no food left!"...and I just said, "Ma'am we didn't say there wasn't any food left, we just wanted cold milk for our kids cereal. She continued to rant about how good of a job she does, glare at everyone, and finally stand in front of me (because I looked at her) and say "can I help you" (very snotty). I said yes, you could be more pleasant and mature since this is your job and there are children in here who behave better than you. I went to the front desk to mention they might need a new attendant and you know what....I had to dial "0" again to get anyone. At 9am. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, and as a military family who has moved 7 times and take a long road trip every summer...we have a lot of experiences! read more

I'm giving this three stars because the hotel decor is inviting, clean and comfortable. But! We had someone local dropping stuff off to us and we hadn't checked in yet. The front desk person lied to them and said we didn't even have a reservation. We were traveling all day and got panic calls en-route from our work colleagues. When we checked in, they did have our reservation and we had to make them come back out at 11pm at night just because someone at the front desk was too lazy to properly look up our reservation. This drama being said, the rest of the hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. And the rooms were very comfortable. Had there not been a blantant mixup before arriving, then the hotel would have easily received 4+ stars. read more

I can't imagine needing or wanting any more. I travel for a living (stay more than 200 nights yearly) this is by far one of the best, most comfortable night I've experienced. All of the eateries were closed at the time so when I came into the front desk, the clerk had a nice care package of goodies for me to eat. Something of which the front desk clerk did not have to do! We decided to stay here because of the location, about 20 minutes away for what we were here for pretty central to get around the city and restaurants nearby. The check in was fast, friendly and he knew the area well. The price was right and the internet was free. We go up to the room and it is modernly decorated and clean. Arrived around 3pm, was pleased to learn how centrally located it was. Everything is super close. Front lobby was clean and modernly decorated. I noticed they offered a business area, pool, arcade, and dining room. Check in was fast and the man was friendly. He did inform us that the TV was currently out, but they were working on it. Room was a double queen, for myself and my teen daughter, because we are both queens! Lol! The room was clean and decorated well. The beds included "soft" and "firm" pillows. And the mattress was very comfortable, we both slept well. Since there was no tv, we decided to wind down in the hot tub. Area was clean, but it was very busy. Seems that all the kids there needed to wind down for the day, and without tv, this was the option. Although it was nice to see all those kids having fun, it was not relaxing, so we came back to the room, used the wifi and watched a movie on our phone, thank goodness for Netflix. Oh, we passed the arcade going to the pool. It consisted of 2 games, not very big, but a nice luxury that they included. Walls were thin, as most of the other reviewers said. I probably would not have noticed if there was background noise (tv). Very quiet night, never did get the tv working. Overall, I was happy. There is nothing that the hotel could do to make the walls thicker, so although the that was a bit annoying, it couldn't be fixed. The lack of tv was inconvenient. They said that they were working on it every time I asked. Again, this was probably another item that was out of their control. I would stay here again. I did get friendly service and a clean and comfortable bed, which is most important to me in a hotel. read more

Arrived here about 9:30 pm on Thu. night. At check in I requested and was given top floor. I like to go for highest floor possible so there's no one above me and it's usually a lot quieter. Also away from the elevator. Anyway, the front desk gal accommodated my request no problem. Couldn't connect to WiFi, which sucked. Had to use my own hotspot. Breakfast was a ok, nothing fancy. The room was clean and the staff was polite. Lobby looks upgraded and designed with taste. Have not been to the pool or the fitness center. read more

Stayed for 4 days and enjoyed every one of them. The hotel and it's rooms were very modern and very clean. We got a standard room for a great rate. Room included everything you needed, hdtv, cable programming, small kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave and sink. Even stocked with plates, cups, paper towels, utensils and even some dish soap. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with everything you need. Also an ironing board and iron. The bed was also very comfortable. They also include a great breakfast with pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal and most anything else you could want. Coffee and ice cold lemon water was available through out the day. If you forgot something or need some treats or food they also have a nice small store to shop from. As for the staff they were all very courteous. I would stay there again and recommend staying there for anyone visiting the area. read more

This HIX shares a parking lot with Subway and a couple other businesses, which makes for a congested traffic area. Also the hotel is next to the driveway used by a large student housing complex next door. Two elevators reduces wait time. Stairwells are not simply fire escapes, they are nicely carpeted with wooden handrails. The hotel hallways are particularly well lit. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The WiFi at this location is terrible; it is not only very slow but after a few hours it kicks you off and you have to login in again. The bathroom is well lit. Our room did not have a "Do Not Disturb Sign", nor a luggage rack, nor a desk, nor a coffee table. The breakfast bar food is good, however it is not possible to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. The loud music being piped into the common areas overlaps with the TV in the dining room and is very annoying. read more

My friend and I are traveling cross country and have been using Expedia (which unfortunately isn't allowing me to rate this hotel right now). Some perspective: both a hotel we stayed at in Lincoln Nebraska and this hotel had the same rating. For reference, the Lincoln hotel had construction on the ceiling, random mysterious stains in the hallways (blood? Vomit?) and the grossest remotes and phone I've ever seen in a hotel, I am constantly staying in low quality, budget inns since I drive cross country often. This hotel however was over and beyond the reviews expectations. We booked a standard double and because they were out, they upgraded us to a double suite, no extra cost. It was also extremely clean for a $130 stay. The spa was awesome after 8 hours of driving and the water pressure and dove conditioner in the bathrooms was good enough to tame my wild hair. Overall, I couldn't have asked for more, I did not have an overly outdated room, everything was very clean, and the staff was extremely generous and pleasant. i reserved a suite so id have a kitchen, problem is their kitchens DONT HAVE STOVES! or flatware/glassware/utensils, just a bunch of empty cabinets. not sure what the dishwasher is for. so the kitchen is pretty useless and a waste of money at this hotel. they blamed covid restrictions but thats nonsense. all the other extended-stay hotels in town have had FULL Y stocked kitchens. if all i wanted was a refer and microwave i could have stayed at motel6 for 1/3 the price. read more
