Clearly a popular blue collar and road warrior stop, lots of worker trucks, vans and busses in the parking lot but we never had any problems finding a safe spot to park. Breakfast is typically Hampton Inn or Fairfield lower mid grade. Everything was clean and well maintained at the breakfast area, but nothing to get excited about. Just adequate as expected. We regularly stay at the newer Hilton Garden Inn near the new bridge in Jeffersonville but occasionally stay here if it's cheaper or closer for our plans.

The toilet ran like Niagara Falls. I do know how to fix them and this wasn't fixable. We had to shut the bathroom door it was so loud. Got up in the morning to a grotesque breakfast. Some kind of funky fried scary looking eggs sausage patties and biscuits and gravy which was in the oatmeal container. Skipped it all and ended up at Panera next door thank goodness. Went to take a shower and the lever on the tub spout was so corroded it would not lift for the shower to operate. Went to the front desk and just asked for a key to another close room to get a shower. It was a total cluster getting a key because I was assigned to the first room. Finally got a key after 25 minutes and my wife and I went down the halls to the shower room that stunk like smoke. We do stay at quite a few Marriotts as Platinum Elite and this hotel should be shut down till it's remodeled. Marriott should take its franchise actually. Used points for this stay and they should have refunded them! Hilton would have.

My husband and daughter did think it was kind of funny when they found a little note with earplugs . But we are all heavy sleepers and bring our own fan with a rain machine to drown out sound which definitely helped with the airplane but it actually helped us sleep better. When asked if it was fixed we were told it was never broken. Hmm seems alot like im getting the run around, then at breakfast i asked other guests if i had been open and they said now they had been there a few days and its been closed. Ao sounds more like its cheaper to just close it and not deal with it and lie to your guests about it. Second the first night we were there we rallied since Pool is closed we went and bought a game to play. So while playing it in the lobby area i made a cup of tea provided by the hotel, been fighting a cold so i wanted some honey noticed there was none out when i went to the front desk and asked about if they had any honey she said no they dont carry it in the hotel, i said not even on the breakfast bar? Nope none! I said hmm seems odd but ok so i drank my honeyless tea. But wait there is more i come down the next morning for breakfast and guess what is on the breakfast bar HONEY. Lie#2. Third asked for four pillows for our room and was told i cant give you four i can give you two if i have them? Huh cant give them to me the whole point here is to get a goods night sleep and your not allowed to give me more than two pillows. Mind you i wouldnt need them if the pillows on the bed were worth a crap. Fourth, back to breakfast, now i know they dont have to provide it but you do, so anything worth doing is worth doing well. To keep it short highlights, stale cereal, molded bread, cold gravy, cold eggs, cold sausages, watery oatmeal, and to add to the great experience broken pancake machine, lie#3 aka out of batter for the machine probably cutting cost again. So lets just tell the guests its broken. From The looks of things it seems more like what is the bare minimum we can do to charge people $150-$200 a night to stay here and not have to take care of the place. It's really a motel with indoor corridors and parking outside your door. Oddly, there were two doors in the room -- one that led to the outdoor parking lot and one that led to the interior corridors. The bed was comfy, the shower was good, the hotel was quiet. The staff were friendly. Plenty of outdoor parking. Small indoor pool (we didn't use it). The complimentary breakfast buffet was pretty typical with a decent amount of seating. They offered eggs, bacon, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereals, granola bars, apples, oranges, toast, muffins, coffee, tea, juice, etc. We noticed there were several construction workers staying there at the time. It's literally right beside of the festival grounds too. The only problem we had was the parking lot was blocked off Thursday night and we couldn't get in the parking lot for almost 2 hours!!! We even called the front desk to make sure we could get in the parking lot. Then nobody would call me about the situation. It was the only night that it happened though! We have already booked it again for next year because it is a really nice hotel!

The staff at front desk and working the breakfast the next morning were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in good condition but the bathroom could use some work with mold in the shower and toilet seat in every bad shape.
