Was once my favorite hotel in Williamsport. Now on my avoid list. Bed bugs. Used a piece of tape to show the front desk. They moved me to a new room. Did they offer any type of help for this horrid situation? No. Moved to a new room, which seemed clean to me. Had to use the trash can liners to quarantine my items that were exposed to the bed bugs. Checked out the following day. Had 0 contact from the hotel, so I called in my way home. They confirmed that maintenance checked the room and found more bugs. If you have to stay at this Hampton, please check the room before you settle in. Also ruined a pair of dress shoes in the dryer. Another $250 added to the expense of this trip. read more

Well, this was the only hotel open within an hour of our travels. Apparently Corning hotels were all booked up because of the masses wanting nay needing to visit the corning museum. This stay was nice and recommended. read more

Excellent lodging at a vey reasonable off-season price. We particularly noticed that housekeeping had an extra blanket and towels in the room so we didn't have to ask. The friendly front desk clerk provided excellent restaurant advice and a map. read more

I stayed here for the fourth time on another motorcycle trip. Good, clean, hotel in great location. Friendly staff in a cool little town.

Staff was very unprofessional. They messed up my family's reservation and the pimple faced teenage girl at the front desk couldn't even bring herself to say "sorry" as we were told that our family of 5's reservation was changed without us knowing. Do yourself a favor and head over to the Marriott Residence Inn across the parking lot. Much more professional staff, better amenities, and all around a better experience. read more

Its as if the staff here were dipped in a vat of HAPPINESS. Front desk staff are amazing. Happy, upbeat, energetic and into ensuring your happiness while staying here. Management is as well from the interactions I saw amongst them. We all know happy employess are a reflection of their management and it shows here. Even the room maids are pleasant and say hello, goodbye, have a great day. I was already happy to be up here visiting my sister and the stay at Hampton made it even better. Its located on a property which basically is a huge shopping center but was designed to not feel like that. The Hotel faces the mountains and the river with shopping behind it across a little driveway like road so you don't feel like you are in a shopping center. There you will find Wegmans, Perkins and a few other stores you might like to try.It was really well planned by either the locals or the owner of the center. So if you'd like to have items you need from home they are only steps away. Behind the shopping is the main drag of Wmsport and its a really nice area to walk, shop and enjoy. Clean? Can we say immaculate loud enough? My ususal washcloth wash of the bathroom floor before putting my tootsies on them came up clean. I saw them mopping the vending area floors, business area floors and the room bathroom floors both days here. That was unusual for me because I think other places it seems its like only a weekly event. The Business center from where I write this review is well equipped. Internet access is EASY. Bigger monitors make the experience good. Pool area is beautiful , clean and well decorated. Now you will laugh when you see what was the biggest surprise for me here. The LAUNDRY ROOM. Yes, I said room. Its huge and well set-up. There is even a leather sofa if you'd like to sit with your wash. I am by and large a huge fan of Hamptons but this one surpassed expectations. Some group played loud music and the hotel didn't do anything about it. Wasn't able to sleep. Multiple guests went to the front desk to complain and nothing was done. I go to a hotel to sleep and I wasn't even able to do that. When I talked to the manager she was rude about the whole situation. read more

Booked the room for a wedding at the price of $120.00 for the night. Was quoted 2 queen beds and only got 1 king which was ok. Problem was that we were billed an extra $24.24, and when we questioned the hotel, we were told that it was for essentials(whatever that means, as we only used the little .05 oz shampoo in the morning). Upon my wife talking with an employee, we were told that ALL hotels in Williamsport do this. We stayed there as that was where the wedding party wanted guests to stay. Coming back for a wedding in September and guess what area I won't be staying in!!! read more

The location is good, with plenty of parking and quick access to local shops and restaurants. My room was clean and the property was nice like pretty much every Hampton Inn. It is consistently a clean and comfortable place to stay. BUT. The thing that really is truly awful is the Internet service. I thought I was back on dialup in 1997. I called the StayConnected support line. This is a waste of time where they have you reboot your computer for no reason and then tell you they will escalate the issue to have someone check it out. It's an over-subscribed connection and awful service. Every since Hilton outsourced to AT&T their hotels have consistently had dreadful Internet service. This place is right off the Highway and is perfect for relaxing when visiting the area. Room was big, clean, nicely decorated (the whole place is decorated really nice) Loved the Fitness center. Ate each morning at the breakfast bar, different omelets each day. The staff was great. Want to drink and not drive, Buffalo Wild Wings is across the lot. Go downtown and try the Bullfrog Brewery if your looking for a nice spot to eat and drink. Internet was super fast on the 5th floor. They also have a store where you can buy food, snacks etc. Didn't try the pool but it looked really nice read more

I'm on my second day of staying here, and I have got to say that this is by far one of the BEST hotels I can ever remember staying at. I arrived yesterday afternoon and the staff was very quick about getting me checked in so that I could get into my room and get unpacked. Throughout the evening I had random questions that the gentleman at the front desk was very able to answer and even if it was something he didn't know, he found it out. I've only been to Williamsport once before, and that was for work, so I never really knew anything about the area and what there was to do. Now, I'm wondering how I'll be able to do HALF of the things he recommended before I'll have to go home! Also, as other reviewers have stated, the cookies at the desk are something you HAVE to try. I recommend the oatmeal raisin. The room is HUGE. I'm staying in the king bed suite and I have to say I'm VERY impressed by it. The bed is more comfortable than the one I have at home, the sheets are soft, and the pillows are perfect. Upon my arrival the room was spotless. For being a smoking room, there wasn't even a hint of that "old smoke" smell. This morning I had their free continental breakfast, where there was a variety of foods from omelettes to cereal to doughnuts to waffles. The coffee is superb and the food is fantastic. The only issue I've had so far is that this morning my TV would randomly shut off, so when I went downstairs to eat I let the front desk know. 10 minutes later when I returned to my room, the gentleman from maintenance was just finishing up with the repair. He was very friendly and explained exactly what he did to fix it and said that if I continued to have a problem to let him know and he would get it taken care of immediately. IF I had to say something negative about the room, it would be that the wallpaper could use some attention, as it is a little old and is starting to peel slightly. But honestly, I cannot honestly complain about anything in this hotel. All in all, as previously stated, this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I'll be more than likely traveling to the area often in the future, and I can guarantee that any time I need to stay in a hotel, it WILL be here. They have my business for sure, and they've earned it. I would without hesitation recommend this place to anyone and everyone. If you're coming to the area, make this your destination. My family always stays here when they visit. The breakfast is great, rooms large and clean, easy to get to from the highway and right across the street from a huge supermarket so you can get things you might need while traveling. The staff is friendly and helpful. The area's visitor's center is on the same property as is a Perkins Restaurant. Downtown is walking distance. read more

We are Diamond Club Hilton Honors members and have been to many hotels. The accommodations were adequate. The bathroom has almost no counter space which was very inconvenient. This did not bother my husband at all. I hated it. The door squeaked and maintenance oiled it very quickly and left a candy bar! The housekeeping crew here is very friendly and accommodating. The BIG downside to me was lukewarm coffee and tea, No whole milk( picky son) and very unattentive attendant at breakfast. Spend most of her time chit chatting behind closed doors. Breakfast was forgettable. I have been here before with a VERY accomadating attendant that was very memorable. Not this time. Very convenient location. read more

This hotel is awesome. First let me say, the staff is terrific. I thought I lost my cell phone and they said they would check the pool area for me because I was in my room! It turned out to be in my room (of course it was=), right in front of me). It was also a night of the manager's "night" or something because there were free alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, meatballs, salads, garlic bread! The restaurants are adjacent to the hotel; Denny's, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Five Guys so we could walk. The pool was more than promised and my kids had a great time. The room was extra clean, and I have seen my share of hotels...so I know clean when I see it! It was hands down one of the best Hampton Inn hotes I have been in! There were also plenty of luggage caddies. The vending machines were full and the ice machine worked perfectly. There was a laundry room for guests! Maybe because I am a Mom with kiddos but I almost thought about putting some in (but I checked myself-I am on vacation=). read more
