    Seared scallops and ravioli

Cocktails and appetizers were good Service was excellent. Shout out to Hayley! Steak was good to perfection , so were the scallops. Part of the greens were too salty, though. Honey desert was amazing! The biggest letdown was the chocolate mousse cake. The consistency was off- too dense. Otherwise flavor was on point. Would revisit

Food, service, and setting are all above and beyond! They happily accommodated my vegan husband and I ate straight from the great menu. Ask for Hailey!

Went with a party of 7 for graduation dinner. Excellent food and service. Fine dining at a beautiful old mansion. Priced well for value received. Highly recommended.

My wife and I dined at the Peter Herdic House Restaurant on special occasions for 25 years when we first arrived in Pennsylvania. The last two occasions we tried to dine there we were disappointed, first by the service and the because the restaurant were out of potatoes(!) So, we avoided this restaurant for the next quarter centuty. This time was very different. We were celebrating my birthday and the dining was well beyond our expectations. My wife and I started by shaing a shad Herdic, a cold Williamsport specialty: shad smoked locally with capers, red onion, housemade pumpernickel, horseradish dill mayonnaise. Superbe medly of flavors! We then shared a house salad, a mixture of etiolated asparagus, tangerine sections, carrots and radishes in a house dressing, covered with Parmesano cheese flakes. For our main courses, my wife chose the lamb shank, an 18 ounce shank from a local farm, braised with moroccan spices, roasted local plums, carrot and onion served over cous-cous and finished with a cilantro gremolata. She took half home with her and made lamb stew from it. I chose pan-seared the sea scallops on housemade ravioli filled with lump crabmeat and savory vegetables, and finished with local carrot coulis, roasted beet and lemon-thyme brown butter. Both were cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef. For dessert, we chose the ganache torte, dark chocolate cream in a pecan crust, served in a pool of caramel sauce. Chocolate + caramel + pecans, all housemade and prepared superbly. What could be better? The service was exceptionally excellent. Our waitress was prompt and all the warm plates were served piping hot. The glass of open Chardonnay was delicous (I foget the label). We were so delighted that I chose to finish it all off with a snifter of Courvoisie and a double decaf espresso, but they were out of decaf espresso and caffein makes it difficult to sleep. It was the only disappointment of the evening, and it was but a tiny one.

The inside has a cool ambiance, and they make good use of their space. The drinks are kinda pricey for the area but they are unique and well crafted. The food is special, no Sysco junk here (iykyk). A kind of expensive stop for meh food and beer. Staff were amazing, so I feel slightly bad for a critical review. ---------------------------- Parking/ This started off the experience rocky for our vehicle. There seemed to be no specific parking dedicated to the brewery. There seemed to be a lot next door for the bank, but there was tons of signage saying it was for the bank, and others would be towed. There seemed to be street parking, but tons of signs saying no parking, loading zones, etc. After three trips around the block settled on the bank since it was Sunday. Had this been any other day, I could have seen us giving up and going elsewhere. Ambiance/ Very brewery-esque with tanks, natural vibes, etc. There was a live jazz trio playing who sounded lovely, but I just wasn't in the mood to try to talk over music, and asked to be moved further away. It seemed like the general feel, many were sat in main bar area, and asked to move back. Staff/ Every single staff member was super friendly, helpful, prompt, and trying to make your experience go well, so super shout out to the staff. Food/ We were stopping through the area around lunch time, so we didn't need anything crazy, but if you weren't getting breakfast or a burger, there wasn't much else. We both ordered a burger (All American and the breakfast/fried egg one). The All-American was good and I upgraded to fries. Breakfast burger was "good enough" I'm told. The chips that come with the burgers are just bagged kettles chips and not homemade. Beers/ We actually came in thinking we weren't going to drink, but were suckers for trying new things. Husband had an IPA and I had a fruited sour. Neither of us liked our beers, and I purposely made sure to drink mine before finishing my food so I didn't have to end with it. Price/ I don't know the area well but beers were $7-$8 for 10 oz pours. For two burgers, one with bagged chips and one with upgraded fries, and 2 not good beers, our bill was $50+. Which isn't terrible, but I could find better places to eat for that price point.

Despite being one of the few patrons in the restaurant, my order took quite some time to come out. Drinks were made instantly, but I finished two before my entree arrived. The bathroom was strangely the only sticky element of the establishment. *Ribeye: huge 18 ounce ribeye served with sweet potato fries and creamed corn. Although I asked for medium rare, the edges leaned closer to medium well. That said, the steak was thoroughly seasoned and tender throughout. The sweet potato fries were heavily seasoned with sea salt, though the potatoes themselves were sweet enough to balance it out. The creamed corn was the most pungent and watery component. I wished the sauce had been thickened more, as it pooled underneath the steak and softened the bottom crust. Overall, this dish was hefty and a steal for the price. *Frost Bite: one of the seasonal mixed drinks. The Malibu and pineapple juice gave this a pina colada style profile. The blue curacao added a striking snowy appearance, though the drink itself leaned quite sweet. *Jingle Juice: another seasonal option, though this one packed a stronger alcohol punch. The tequila was more prominent, while the peach schnapps helped soften the edge. However, the cranberry and orange juices were barely noticeable, so it did not quite deliver the spiked fruit punch profile I was expecting. I loved the generous portions and strong flavors. While the execution was not perfect, the large sizes and heavy pours still made this a jolly experience.
