As with most medical business in a medical office, it was a bit challenging to find. I called ahead and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful in directing me with landmarks and signage. (It's hard to find a building in 45mph, multi-lane traffic!) The dentist (or hygienist) assigned to me was friendly and answered all my nosy questions. I had mentioned it had been awhile, and that I hadn't flossed in a bit, because I ran out of my favorite floss and that it was expensive. (I know, I'm a terrible person!) Expecting fire and brimstone and a guilt trip that I am used to immediately brushing off, I was impressed by their professional manner. The dentist/hygienist was either tactful or telling the truth, and said my teeth were not as bad as I might have thought. They answered my questions about Invisalign, and then thoughtfully sent a follow up letter thanking me for stopping by and providing a brochure of information for Invisalign. Procedure He was extremely rough with extraction so much so that my head was moving from side to side during extraction. Xrays after procedure taken at another clinic show the bone wall busted and major trauma and destruction on the location because it was done violently. (He overnums you so so you wouldn't feel the distruction during procedure) After procedure He would not take calls to send us medication. He finally sent it after two days. He didn't send us the bill nor trays he took during our visit.

When I was there for my appointment, they told me they did not have time to clean my teeth (despite stating they were in excellent shape and overall clean) with or without the numbing. They then offered an appointment a month later. When I expressed my dismay they suddenly had an opening that night. I got the impression they do not really care either way about their patients schedules or dental health. Seems like an odd way to run a dental health practice.

I knew of this dentist because a family friend is an Assistant there and I wasn't about to return to my previous dentist (in Berkley) because I thought she was a snotty bitch. So...broken tooth and all, Dr. Hunter came in, shot me a few times in the mouth (none of which I felt) and out came the tooth. He took out the top widom tooth also. Done in 15 minutes. Swollen but in zero pain. Removal of booth teeth? Under $200. Worth it. Now...I am a regular. I actually look forward to my cleanings because Eve, the hygenist, is amazing and really gets my teeth sparkling. She always has great recommendations for products to use and suggestions to keep my mouth looking and feeling great. And she doesn't recoil in stain-shock from my excessive coffee drinking and smoking. I have seen not only Dr. Hunter but also his partner, Dr. Hosea. Dr. Hosea is amazing as well. Bubbly, helpful and pays close attention to the details. The assistants and office staff are great and so easy to work with and they have late day hours, so it's easy to get an appointment. It is always wonderful to be greeted by Michelle at the front desk. She's so kind and helpful. My hygienist is Becky and she is very thorough. She also gave me helpful strategies to improve cleaning my wisdom teeth. There are two dentists in this practice--Dr. Alpert and Dr. Scalisi. I see Dr. Scalisi and she is fantastic!! Very friendly. My mom sees Dr. Alpert and raves about him too. This office is very punctual and they provide friendly reminders about your upcoming appointment via email and phone. They go above and beyond to make this a pleasant experience. I feel valued. Parking is easy. It's a free standing building and they have their own lot. Melissa is also a wonderful dental hygienist, she eased my anxiety of teeth cleanings far better than any other person I've had at other offices. She treated me like family and was so gentle and knew how to make me feel comfortable!
