Highly recommend Dr. Silber. He's been my dentist for over a decade. I consider the doctor and…read morestaff as my friends. After having issues all my life getting quality restorations (fillings and crowns) I found this place. Friendly staff, great quality restorations. Silber's assistant Sharon is so good at making temporary crowns, I'd be inclined to leave it in, if not for the material and cement not being permanent, lol! I've had small issues with repairs not holding up (rare occasion) but I attribute that to not wearing a bite guard at night (I'm a grinder) and if you have crowns that's a must! And everyone's mouth is different, we all chew differently. Your teeth also move around throughout your life (muscles and tendons reposition and re-tension). Plus, the deeper the filling, more likely for issues. And the more times a tooth has been worked on, it becomes more sensitized and the work becomes more complicated. He never pushes for more work than is necessary. He's made sure I'm pain free in any case. Even gave me a free replacement crown when it cracked (I have a heavy bite and wasn't wearing bite guard at that time). If you ever have discomfort after a restoration, just go back and they will do their best to make it right for free.

Dental care in Royal Oak/Oakland County…read more I was recently provided excellent care by Dr Reema Ajluni and staff from beginning to end: enrollment, booking, cleaning, x-rays and exam. After the exam, Dr Reema reviewed the x-rays with me and pointed out exactly what needed to be done. She let me know what work she could do and what problems needed referral to an endodontist. At no point did I feel pressured into getting questionable/unnecessary dental work. She listened to my input and concerns sincerely and took adequate time to answer all my questions. Professional and personable. The staff seems very competent as well. X-rays were done painlessly without the bulky awkward cardboard pieces to bite down on, the cleaning was deep and thorough but not painful or excessively long. The front office staff handled my paperwork and insurance details while quickly addressing my questions. I was also provided a itemized cost estimate with lower prices than provided by my last dentist. The office is clean and everyone is friendly and easy to communicate with. If you are looking for a new dentist--I'm happy to recommend Dr Reema Ajluni and staff.

The dentist (I forget her name), however, was a bit condescending and overbearing. One of my girls needed a cavity filled. The dentist suggested anesthesia and gas. They wouldn't sedate her... and she was screaming the entire time. I was in the room and I watched them inject her with several needles that she clearly felt. Followed by very aggressive drilling, and opening her mouth with clamps. She told them it was pinching her lip and they disregarded her... Her face is still healing after a week. They had five staff in there holding her down, and she was crying so hard that it was obvious her nose was stuffed, so she couldn't even breathe in the nutritious. They did two crowns and 4 fillings in one very aggressive visit. And one of the crowns is dug into her gums and cut. At one point I stopped the procedure and told them enough... At which point the dentist told me we cannot stop the procedure because then she will think she can stop anytime! They tortured her and now she is rightfully afraid of the dentist. Find another dentist. There's no reason she had to go thru that. I will never go back there and never recommend them.

My husband went this week for a cleaning and was so annoyed to hear that they now impose a $15 out…read moreof pocket payment from each patient for PPE costs at checkout. That's so ridiculous. What's worse is my husband had to move his appointment from last month to this month because they claimed they could only have one patient in the room or exam area during an hour, since it's a small facility. What's most irksome is that the hygienist or tech finished his appointment and went directly to the next client in the adjoining room. She never changed her gown, medical mask or N95 mask during the whole time and yet this office feel it's acceptable to pass down this additional charge of $15 per person for their PPEs, when they don't bother to change between patients and more than likely use the entire day. Doesn't that seem shady? The PPEs may be in shortages but more are being made now than when this pandemic all started. Why would you charge an out of pocket fee at checkout for $15 for PPE, when it's just the cost of business and to stay running. Be classy business and suck it up and eat the cost. Why take advantage of your patients? We are all more stressed out financially due to this never ending pandemic and yet this is the first I have ever come across a facility charging a PPE visit for an appointment. You don't see restaurants and shops charging for PPE for their staff to shop or eat at, do you? My own primary physician doesn't charge me a PPE fee either. Poorly done! Shame on you for bilking your patients during all of this beyond stressful times.

Instead I have to call on the same day to see if they have any openings when he has school and I have a job, so they would rather have my son suffer in pain waiting to be seen again and risk it being a more complicated surgery because they even said the longer he waits the more complicated it can be then to just schedule another appointment!!! This is what they do to kids!?!?! Pathetic!!!!
