    Kimbap & kimchi jigae
    Carmen Z.

Delicious and authentic Korean food. The service is awesome and everything comes out pretty quick. They check on you to make sure everything is good and if you run out of any banchan, they ask if you want more which is really nice. The beef galbi is delicious and tasty. Same goes for the kimbap, seafood soondubu, and the kimchi jigae. The kimchi jigae was one of the best kimchi jigae's I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Short rib and cabbage soup (more meat and heartiness than this looks and sooo good.

This restaurant serves very hearty portions, everything ingredient wise is very very fresh and the atmosphere is comfortable for sitting and being social. The plating is thoughtful and the food is beautiful but tastes even Better than it looks. I've been to a lot of Korean restaurants, including almost every one available in the DFW/ Carrollton (TX) area and this is in our top 2 favorites of all time. This is definitely the gem to go to if your passing by. Staff is patient with first timers and very knowledgeable.

The sides were fresh and delicious, and everything tasted homemade. The restaurant itself is a tiny little gem, and the service was excellent -- Nicole was so kind and helpful. I actually came here about 20 years ago, and the food was amazing back then too. I was so happy to see they're still open! The new owners have made some changes, but all in a good way. I'm really glad this place is still around -- I'll definitely be back.

If you're wanting authentic Korean, this might not be the place for you. First indicator of that…read morewas when we saw that a whole section of the menu dedicated to burgers. And banchan only comes free with bulgogi meals and only if requested. (That's one of my favorite parts of Korean food, so big let down there). But once I set my expectations aside, it was overall enjoyable. We got the 4 piece yaki, something totally non-Korean that had meat and fried plantains, kimchi soup for me, fried tofu for my husband, beef soup for my father in law, and cheesy rice for the kids. The kimchi soup was okay, but not the flavor and ingredient packed kimchi jigae I was looking for. (So far nowhere in Lawton has been able to deliver on that) It was pretty simple, just broth, kimchi, and tofu. Not bad, and would probably be pretty comforting on a cold Lawton winter day, but it's not something I'd order a second time. My husband loved his fried tofu. I tried a bite, it was tasty and seared well. My father in law had no complaints over his soup, but he also wasn't singing its praises or anything. The crispiness of the yaki was perfect, but the filling just meh, and it didn't come with a dipping sauce. The plantain and meat dish was definitely my least favorite, but my father in law put some of the meat in his soup and he said it was way better that way. But the unexpected star of the evening was the cheesy rice. Super simple - just a mound of steamed white rice with scrambled egg covered in a cheese sauce. i want to go back just to order cheesy rice again, but try it paired with something like bulgogi. Even though the food was, for the most part, just okay, the best part of the visit was the great service. Didn't catch the server's name, but she was personable and friendly without hovering or being overbearing. We also loved the vibe of the restaurant itself. There were board games, a giant jenga set, a giant connect 4 set, and some arcade games. It wasn't super busy, so my girls were able to just kind of walk around entertaining themselves with the games while the adults finished eating. So overall - the food wasn't great, but the vibes were slapping for us, and we'll definitely be back to give that cheesy rice another shot along with some other new menu items

The food was good, but fell short of being great. We ordered bulgogi, stif fried squid, and dumpling soup. The dulling soup was great, delicious dumplings and broth. The squid was good but had a bit of an oddly bouncy texture. The bulgogi was also really good, very flavorful, it was just a bit dry and had no added veggies whatsoever. The pictures showed it with more so it was a little disappointing for that reason. All the rice we recorded was a bit dry and tastes like day old rice. The food is also a bit on the pricier side compared to some other nearby Korean spots. The food here was really good, just a few things that brought quality down.

The menu offered a good variety. I ordered the tofu soup and galbi, and my partner ordered the chicken yakisoba. The service was relatively quick, and the staff was friendly. The yakisoba was pretty tasty, but I felt like the taste was a bit too sweet for my liking. I also wished there were more noodles as the portion was large but there were a lot more vegetables than noodles. I loved the side salad that came with it though. My soondubu was hot and pretty flavorful and spiced. My galbi was tender and seasoned well, however I was surprised about the cut-- it did not look like your typical short rib. We also received a nice array of banchan with our meal. Though overall pricey, I do think we received pretty good portions.

This was an impromptu celebration due to family being in town for the holidays and my daughter's birthday. The establishment offers a promotion of one free hour in a medium room (which accommodates up to 11 people) with a minimum $100 spend. I asked whether we could pay the difference to use a large room since we had 12 guests, but was told that was not an option. We were happy to proceed regardless and paid for one hour in the large room. When our paid hour ended, some guests had left. I asked if we could then move to a smaller room and use the complimentary hour. I was told no rooms were available, but that we were welcome to remain in the same room for the additional hour. We stayed and were careful to leave exactly at the one-hour mark. Unfortunately, when I received the check from Tristan, it included charges for two hours of the karaoke room. When I questioned this, his response was extremely rude, stating that "I had a choice not to stay." This did not reflect the conversation I had with our waitress. I explained that I was disappointed this was being disputed, especially considering our approximately $500 tab, but the issue was not resolved respectfully. While we did enjoy ourselves overall, the customer service was very disappointing. Sierra was polite and genuinely tried to de-escalate the situation, which was appreciated. However, due to Tristan's complete disrespect, and handling of the situation, we will not be returning. The food was just ok, the derive was slow (we were told there was only 3 servers out of 8) but we were there more for the experience, which was obviously skewed because of the poor customer service.

First off, two words, DIPPED CHICKEN!! You are not doing this chicken right if you don't get it "dipped". A super tasty spicy juicy sauce. The other bonus ... their menu here features some popular Korean dishes too. You can get Beef Bulgogi, Chicken Bulgogi, and Pork Bulgogi. Their Pork Bulgogi being my favorite!
