If you've ever had Pieology, Firo Fire Kissed Pizza is the exact same thing! I was in town and wanted to eat something that was local to the community. Firo Fire Kissed Pizza popped up on Yelp so I decided to try it. When you walk in, the place was spacious and clean. On the right side is where you would order your food. They have salad, pizza, and dessert (gelato). They have their most popular ones on the screen in front. They also have a build your own option too. If you're gluten-free, they have gluten-free dough. The person who helped me was so helpful in the process, I think his name was John. If it's not John, I'm sorry I forgot. He walked through the different types of ingredients and options I had. I decided to build my own and it was SO good! I highly suggest coming here for your lunch and dinner and during your munchie time in between. Do note that there is free parking where Firo is. Yum, what a great way to eat pizza! First off, the best part about this is they do not charge by the topping. You can get as many toppings as you want and pay for the size! However, if you wanted like double the meat of something there's a charge, but they give you plenty you don't need it. Secondly, every pizza is made by scratch. They're not pre made, you pick every topping fresh. Not only do you go down the line and add everything you want, it's fast. Within five minutes of sitting down, our food was at our table. It's fresh, hot, and delicious. The crust and sauce are amazing. The crust is perfectly crisp and in between thin and thick. The sauce is not too over powering and doesn't have that alcoholic taste. I was visiting family in Lawton and everyone wanted pizza. I am not a fan of most pizza chains, so I picked this one based on my trusty Yelp app. The build your own pizza theme is a fun one and quite popular these days. Prices here are very reasonable. Each pizza is an "individual" pie (depends on how hungry the pizza eaters are). Firo offers a wide array of toppings, so each of us got the specific toppings we wanted. I ordered all 4 of our pies from my phone - that made things super easy. The timer told me 15 minutes --- great time! I rolled up to the drive-through and my pies were ready on time as promised. The parking lot and restaurant were packed, so I definitely appreciate the fact that my order was ready on time. When I got my pies home, they looked nice, but had skimpy toppings. One pizza, the Carne, did NOT have any meatballs on it. It's supposed to have them, but see my pic - it did not. I didn't notice until I got home. I really should have checked. I usually check my order before leaving a spot, but the parking lot is small here, and there was a car behind me in the drive through. That was a huge disappointment. The other BYO pizzas just needed more cheese and more of the toppings we requested. On the plus side, the crusts were charred well and had a nice airy texture and slightly smoky flavor. The pizza was as good as most other build your pie spots, but all of my family agreed that the toppings were on the skimpy side. We also got a side salad which was packed with very fresh ingredients that I was also able to select from a list of ingredients. As I mentioned earlier, prices are reasonable, but they do need to work on their toppings and consistency. The outside of the building is very modern and cute, so I assume the inside is as well. The parking lot is tiny, but there are some nearby strip malls that you can easily park at and walk over. If you get your pies to go, make sure that you check your order. Normally, I give a spot a 2 for messing up an order, but this is Lawton. At least the taste of the food was good. They just need to work on some things. It's nice to see some new places in Lawton. It had been years since I've been here and it's nice to see some new spots opening. read more

It was early on a Tuesday night and my wife and I, with our newly redeployed daughter, were deciding where to eat for dinner. We considered a few places then decided on Firo Fire Kissed Pizza...since my wife, a pizza fan, was craving some pizza. Having lived in Italy for a couple of years while on a military assignment, my wife and I have sampled some of the best pizzas in the world...and as such, have developed heightened expectations and standards for what passes as good to great pizza. I suppose it is with that background that I approach this review of Firo. Much like other fast casual pizza chains like Blaze Pizza or Pieology, Lawton-based Firo borrows heavily from the formulaic approach to the build-your-own fire roasted pizza concept. Its fast service and its casual atmosphere (ah, fast casual) serves Lawton well...but much like Blaze and Pieology, this is FAR FROM OMG...stop the presses...Mama mia, this is great pizza! Not quite. I ordered one of their Signature Pizzas, the Italiano (Red Sauce, Chopped Garlic, Parmesan, Mozzarella Ovalini, Fresh Basil, Soppressata Salami, Extra Virgin Olive Oil). My wife and daughter went with the build-your-own pizza approach, with my wife choosing sausage, salami, sautéed onions, roasted garlic, roasted red peppers, spinach and basil, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese and the red sauce. Daughter, a vegetarian, chose Ovalini mozzarella cheese, roasted garlic, fresh basil, and red sauce. My pizza was OK, but after sampling my wife's pizza, I thought her pizza was hands down better than the most popular signature pizza, the Italiano. Her pizza simply had multi-layered flavors the signature pizza didn't. The crusts for our pizzas were just OK...I prefer a "chewier" crust and prefer the charring from a wood-fired oven, imparting a smokier flavor than pizzas cooked in an oven, even for a gas fired oven. All in all, not a bad pizza place, but definitely not up there with other pizzas we've tried. But as my daughter was quick to point out, I have to write my review with "Lawton lenses"...so with that said, I am inclined to rate this with 4 "Lawton" stars...or 3 stars using my "standard" rating scale. Dinner for three with fountain drinks came out to just under $30. Not a bad value. read more

Make your own pizza without all the work?! I'm in!! They have specialities or you can build your own pizza, salads, and gelato. I really enjoyed the pizza! Probably the best restaurant I've been to in town. It had great flavor, the portion was just right, and the wait was not long (and it was a busy night)! I ordered one of the specialities, Italiano, and my husband created his own. We also ordered a large Chicken Caesar Salad, which was very good! Note to self, order salad when you order your pizza. I will have to say my family and I were impressed with the amount of flavor in the pizza. They delivered the pizza well under the estimated time frame. I would have to say the only downside to the food was the quantity. The flavor was all there, the size not so much. A large was roughly 10 inches in diameter. Much less than what we're used to. Nonetheless it got the job done and while our stomachs weren't fully satisfied, our taste buds definitely were. We will just have to remember to order more next time. Will be returning read more

Restaurant is very good. The price is reasonable and quality is really nice. I recommend the pizza and salad. But one issue was they didn't allow us to use extra bowls to share the salad so we had to split it on pieces of wax paper which was inconvenient.
