I left this place feeling embarrassed and disappointed. The overall experience was nothing like the…read morecare I had received here before the ownership changed. I went in for a contact lens fitting because my current lenses weren't fitting properly. I explained that to the doctor at the beginning of my appointment, so he knew exactly why I was there. After the exam, he gave me one trial box in the prescribed power and said it was the only box he had. That's only about two days of wear. I told him I didn't think that was enough time to know if the lenses fit well. Instead of giving me more of the same prescription, he gave me one trial box in a lower power. That also only lasts about two days, and one pair has to be saved for my follow-up visit. So in reality, I only had about one day to try each prescription. I even joked that maybe I should wear both prescriptions at the same time. He said some people do that and told me to give it a try. But I came in because my contact lenses weren't fitting properly. One day simply isn't enough to know whether a contact lens fits properly. The doctor seemed busy, so I asked the front desk if I could get just two more days of trial lenses in one of the prescriptions so I could properly evaluate the fit. The woman at the front desk said she would check. Before she even had a chance, another employee walked by and, without stopping to understand my situation, loudly said they don't give out lenses just because someone asks. She kept repeating, "You need to wear those when you come back for your follow-up." She never asked how many trial lenses I had received or what the doctor had recommended. She didn't ask me a single question before making a judgment. I came in seeking help with a contact lens fitting, but instead of trying to understand my situation, she dismissed my concern without ever speaking to me. After that, I saw her walk into the back office and begin talking with the owner while looking in my direction through the glass wall. I could hear her mention that I was asking for more lenses. I don't know what else was said, but it made me feel even more uncomfortable and judged. I asked if I could speak with the doctor again, but I was told he was busy. I then asked for a copy of my contact lens prescription. They said they would email it to me, but instead I received a link to create a patient portal account. When I opened the link, all I got was an error message that said, {"message": "URL not found"}. I tried the link in both Chrome and Safari, but neither worked. When I called the office, I was told they couldn't email my prescription and that I would have to drive back to the place to pick it up in person. I paid $299 for the exam. Patients have the right to receive a copy of their contact lens prescription. A broken portal link and another trip across town is not a reasonable way to provide it. After my visit, I learned that the practice has new owners. I also noticed several recent reviews from other patients saying the service had changed after the ownership change. I honestly wish I had read those reviews before making my appointment because my experience was very similar. If you're considering this place, I encourage you to read the recent reviews first. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I can't recommend this practice, and I won't be back. Overall, I've had a much better experience with Costco Optometry.

From the time we walked in to the time we were done. This is the most thorough and organized place we have been to. They explain insurance very well. Other places we have been were never this detailed and would actually get information on our insurance wrong. Any questions we had were answered and everyone was very nice and friendly. The glasses selection they have is quite nice and a lot to choose from. We will definitely come back again next year.

One of the arms for my eyeglasses got unscrewed and I was looking for some place close to home…read morescrew it back for me, I had the screw as well. The first place I went to was happy to do it, their optometrist was at lunch so I went to Cupertino Family Eye Care since they were close by. The place is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. I was able to park in the 15 minute parking right in front of the place. I walked in and asked if they can screw the arm back in and I was told that they will only help if I was a patent of theirs!!! It would have taken less than 30 seconds to help and they would have provided great customer service even if I was not currently a customer of theirs. I was in fact looking for a new optometrist and would probably have picked them because of how accommodating they were and they are near my house but that does not matter since I would never use them nor recommend them based on this experience. It's not even that they were busy or short staffed, there were no customers (not surprised) and they were several staff milling around. I went to Vista Eye Care and they did this for me in under a minute and refused payment. That is customer service!!

I paid for anti fog , anti scratch and all other possible options at the time. But the first few weeks when I used the glasses in the sun for sports, it fogged so badly that I can't drive home without keep wiping it. I complained to this store but any heard back any solutions. Now today, I just noticed scratch on the right side glasses. I have other prescription glasses and never have fog or scratch problems because I paid for them. This Oakley glasses is very expensive and disappointing!
