I would recommend this funeral home. They provided a very reasonable price and treated us with respect & dignity.

However when inquiring about it as we prepared to lay my step-dad to rest the man we talked to refused to honor or refund the memorial as he claimed we already had it. Since he was difficult we decided to go to a different funeral home for our impending loved ones death. He angrily demanded us tell him who we had switched to and when we told him he scoffed "But that's a black funeral home!" I was beyond disgusted. That mind set has no place in end of life stress in my opinion. The building was nice but not worth it. Would not recommend.

More than 5***** and economically fair Our beloved Sister 57 year old suddenly passed away. Jeff and Brian supported us in every imaginable way. Jeff provided a service for us in 2016 when our Mother passed from Woodbine NJ (yes NJ) . Since then I recall what a wonderful service Jeff organized for us / her . Prior our father passed away in 97' and had a comparison. That being said Bryers funeral home from our families perspective were compassionate , very personable , hands on all the while economically phenomenal day. In Nov 2025 immediately thought of Jeff and Bryers. From minute one he remembered 2016 details about our Mom the day etc.... as if it were yesterday. I immediately felt Lisa was in good hands , the situation and family dynamics were a bit complicated . Jeff himself is a mature family man, which I believe lends to all his positive attributes. Jeff and Brian helped my nephew, niece and Lisa's siblings from day 1. No service was left unattended. Funeral home in excellent condition, room for well over 100 people at once comfortably. Talk about professionalism, personnel (very calm demeanor, like-able gentleman, compassion and empathy. Seemed to be always be a "YES" to accommodate, even though I was thinking he may have been thinking, " I hope that was a "May" and don't really do". Always available open communication from early morning to late evenings. Even though I could sense a very busy business. Allowed a 10 year old niece to play Bryer's organ , not knowing if she was accomplished and or would respect personal property. Arranged for a wonderful Deacon to provide service throughout the day. There were numerous family pictures for display around the rooms. Even though being presented on a monitor (thank you Brian) . All flowers were on time and wonderfully displayed and transported. The entire time and leading up to the day was impeccably organised but with ease. We weren't the easiest of people to navigate. Didn't really mention the traditional functions but believe me all was executed wonderfully Sincerely Florence Show all

Getting a timely response to your needs is important, but so is working with someone who understands your specific needs. Despite the shock/sadness and the need for rapid resolution, when I worked with Jeff, it was immediately apparent that he cares about the dearly departed and their family, and he is absolutely not about trying to sell you on more than you want or need. This is exactly the kind of service and professionalism a person needs in times like this. I can't say enough good about my experience, and I can recommend them without hesitation.

One of the nicest funeral homes I've ever been in. Very clean and felt more cozy (I'm sure the…read morereal fireplace helped with that) than any funeral home I've been in. The attendants were very accommodating and helpful. They offer two "cafe" rooms with coffee, tea and water. There are tables in the cafe's to accommodate food. Only reason for the 4 star is that the family was told they were the only funeral that morning/day (as it was planned to be a BIG funeral) but the funeral home added another funeral before the big one. We then had to wait for the second room to be available/cleaned and parking was a nightmare. They do have a parking lot, but when you have two funerals booked around the same time, it fills up very quickly.

I remember driving past the Dean Givnish Life Celebration location on the way home after visiting my husband in the hospital. For some reason I felt more at peace when I saw the Life Celebration sign. When the day came that William did pass, I called the John Givnish Life Celebration location to make the necessary arrangements. Again, in the midst of all my grief I felt more at peace again. Dave, the gentleman that dealt with me is a soft spoken gracious man that fully represents how professional and lovely the Life Celebration by Givnish is. Thank you for your time and your thoughtfulness. Gayle Bonner
